Other bad reviews say the same thing
I cancelled my order within their listed cancellation policy and still haven't received a refund. Despite following their rules and not even receiving the tub, they said I'm not eligible for a refund. Now I'm going to have to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Read the rest of the bad reviews, they'll tell you the same thing! I wish I had.
Avoid!!! Expensive and they will scam you if you let them!
Their customer service is a joke. I emailed them to ask what their normal turnaround time for deliveries are. Meaning, was I looking at days? Weeks? Months? A year? All they would tell me is to look at my tracking. Which, after 2 weeks, still showed that my order was processing. So I replied to the email saying I knew they can't provide an exact date yet but that I just wanted an estimate.. They 100% ignore me! So I started a new email, they replied the same generic answer but acknowledged my last email. That means they got my reply and they chose to ignore it. This happened 3-4 times and I still didn't get an answer. I can't wait months for my tub so I started a final email saying I just need to cancel. Per their cancellation policy, you can cancel before it has been shipped and my tracking still said it was processing. But they won't let me cancel! They said my tracking isn't right and that it already shipped. It obviously hasn't though, because I still don't have it. And if it already shipped, why wouldn't they tell me that when I asked? Because they are full of it, that's why. No matter how much they drag me around, I'm not paying for something they never sent and that I cancelled within what their policy dictates. Buyers beware, they'll scam you if you let them!
Too small for anyone over 5'5" and not made of quality materials
I never leave bad reviews, but this was really, really bad, especially for the incredibly high price tag. Paid $1,000 for a shower extension we can't return after installing and wanted to replace immediately after we put it in.
Cons:
- Inaccurate size description. This particular item is best fit for someone about 5'5" in size - anyone above that needs to crouch to get their hair wet. The description made no mention of this.
- Difficult to install without leaks unless you have a plumber do it. The instructions technically walk you through how to do it, but you need to be pretty handy to do it properly. Factor in an additional $150 or so to have someone do the plumbing part!
- Flimsy materials and assembly. We installed exactly as described with the hardware provided, and it'll barely hold up a thin plastic shower curtain. Needs better reinforcement or to be made of more robust materials.
- The price for what we received is outrageous. We paid $1,000 for this and have been kicking ourselves from the moment we installed it. Incredible waste of money.
- Rigid return policy. As soon as you install it, it's yours. Be very aware of this and lay it out before you put it in to be sure it'll fit your space.
Pros:
- Delivery time
- Accurate color description
- Helpful installation paperwork
Free Standing Soaking Tub
I received recommendation from several people and was completely satisfied from beginning until the end. Very easy to work with, and timely shipping as well. I have not installed yet, but plan to in the next week or so!

Ordered our products need to finish our bathroom, weeks went by NO DELIVERY. Contacted them, couldn't find our order. But the cc was charged! Where did the money GO?? Customer service is a joke. One lady even told us to call the manufacturer to see when they may ship our order. Isn't that their job. WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Shipping estimate misleading and updated unreliable
Vintage Tub & Bath appears to be have a broad collection of traditional fixtures which appealed to me. However, I ordered a faucet which the website stated was set to ship within 1-3 business days. After a week with no shipping update, I followed up and was notified that the item now would be available to ship a full month later (March 7). It still took weeks for the website to be updated to indicate that the item was not in fact ready to ship in 1-3 days.
March 7 came and went with no update from VTB. I wrote on March 12 for an update on the status of my order (the online status checker did not provide any info), and still haven’t received a response 3 business days later. If you are in the midst of a time-sensitive renovation, I wouldn’t rely on VTB for your fixtures. My contractor has been on standby while I await a replacement I ordered elsewhere.
horrible customer service
horrible customer service, product was lost during shipping so it was delayed, item was finally recieved and of course its damaged and needs to be returned waiting for a refund as I just bought a tub from another place as I can't wait another month to recieve a new tub
shower door
nice to buy from a company not some huge corporation. not only was the price better, but the whole experience was nice. shipped by freight right to my garage door.
Thank You
Magazine worthy
I just want to say, I am thrilled with my Mila slipper tub and deck mounted polished brass fixtures. I had a lot of back-and-forth phone calls with customer service to decide which tub and color. Everyone was very patient and helpful Believe me, I was quite the handful for a few weeks! I highly recommend Vintage Tub and Bath. Their products are great quality and look like they should be in a magazine! I will enjoy my tub for many years.
Poor Customer Service
Would like to comment on the quality of the shower enclosure but I cant since I have not received it and am waiting almost 4 months for an item with a quote lead time of 3 to 4 weeks. Customer Service representative that I spoke to recently could tell me nothing. Hope the product is good if I ever receive it. BAD CS

Still looking for a resolution
While the tub itself is beautiful With a couple tiny defects in the porcelain, We’ve tried to communicate in regards to the drainage pipes we ordered along with the tub, Which were damaged in shipping sent pictures… I have not received any response in regards to replacing those and every time I try to look or find emails or follow up on it. I’m not getting good responses. The last correspondence I had stated in review. That was days ago, and I haven’t heard anything since. That was my third or fourth attempt in communicating. I would like to Reevaluate my review, If I get a response and a resolution to the damage on the drainage pipe pipes.

Customer service was very helpful; great value
Customer service was very helpful. The value and quality of the shower doors were great for a kit (as opposed to custom doors). Delivery through their freight partner took longer than expected and there was no tracking information, so had to call the company regularly for updates.
We ordered the shower pan on Aug 16th
We ordered the shower pan on Aug 16th. Now its Sept 15th and they are still processing the order. i called the
end of aug and they said that products take a very long time to get... would have been nice to know that to start with and would have ordered a different item.
