I have been looking for my dream watch for a while now, and found it at Vintage Winders. A gorgeous 1973 Perpetual Datejust with a Sunburst Silver Sigma dial, in absolute close to mint condition. It's scary spending a lot of money on such a fine piece of jewellery online, without actually holding it, and trying on the watch, but the piece was all that was promised on the website in the pictures and in the stories on the phone. And more. I am very happy with it every single day, and highly recommend Vintage Winders.

I wanted to celebrate my 60th birthday with a vintage Rolex watch for myself. I literally did not know where to start but after research I came across Vintage Winders and what a find. We set up a virtual meeting to view the watches I liked, Leon was knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. Following my purchase the watch arrived 36 hours later in mint condition and I placed it on my wrist immediately. What a start to my celebrations thank you Leon for your help and advice.

Leon was very helpful, virtual viewing was good, full history of the watch provided. Watch arrived next day really happy with the watch exactly as described - highly recommend Vintage Winders.

I did not have a great experience with these guys. I sent my Rolex for a service, when it returned the bezel spring broke within two days. I reached out to Vintage Winders only to be met with a defensive stance claiming the part that broke and the bezel was not under warranty and the bezel had not been touched. Frustratingly I had had a prior conversation where Vintage Winders stated the bezel had been removed then reattached. My invoice for work done also stated this. Vintage Winders offered to replace spring but then later retracted this offer.

You may receive a decent service from these guys it's entirely possible. But if you don't do not expect any kind of customer service or accountability for anything that goes wrong. It'll be on you to pay more money to fix their mistake.

Vintage winders then named me personally in the response. Something I had specifically ask them not to do and found to be a extreme breech of privacy. I had initially named one of there staff members but later removed it after a conversation in which they hung up on me.

An excellent company with a huge amount of knowledge and experience buying and selling vintage watches.
An approachable service, even if you are new to buying a vintage watch, you will learn a lot dealing with experts who take the time to help and guide you with your purchase. All arrived very quickly and in perfect order. I would highly recommend!

There was a problem with one of the watches (which is around 70 years old) that became apparent after a couple of months. Leon resolved this without any questions.
