Bought a new audio speaker system that…

Bought a new audio speaker system that was marked down at a sale price. After it finally arrived I received an unboxed refurbished product when no where on the product page does it say it’s an opened box or refurbished item.

I emailed the company on Dec 11, 15 and 20th, and still no reply.

I tried to phone a couple of times only to wait on long holds and then get disconnected due to no agents available.

Very frustrating and I would not recommend their business.

Online order process and help desk sucks

My online order was stuck in "shipping label created" for about a week, the courier advised Visions never scheduled it for pickup at their end. Sent a ticket, no reply. Sent a follow up ticket, no reply. Tried to call the help line, spent hours on hold in multiple days before I got through. I requested for the online order to be canceled and will just go to the store and buy it there, which I was able to do with the only issue being I have to pick it up at the warehouse as they don't have it in stock.

After all that, I suddenly got a notification that my online order has already shipped and my tickets also were replied to as well. Told them why even bother shipping it and responding to my ticket a when it has already been resolved. They said they could not do anything about it. So I had to go back to the store to return the item that was shipped in order to get a refund.

The efforts of Marie (customer service), Zaheer (Crowfoot store) and Ian (warehouse), are probably the only reason why I would shop at Visions there again, kudos to their service mentality.

I am definitely not shopping online as whoever is running it doesn't know what they are doing. Just stick to shopping at the store.

I purchased a television from Visions…

I purchased a television from Visions Electronics in Abbotsford, BC.

Their sales associate, Krishna, was polite, professional and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions, provided helpful information and comparisons for the size and price range I was shopping in and even though the set I purchased was not a super sized model or the most expensive make Krishna treated as if the sale was for the most expensive item in his store.

I left the Abbotsford store knowing I purchased the tv exactly fit what I wanted and needed.

Mr Fraser, the General Manager is fortunate to have Krishna working on his sales team. Thank you for a great shopping experience.

Beware of shopping here

Please do your research before shopping here and especially if you're planning on getting any car audio installation. They will mess your vehicle up severely I had to pay hundreds and thousands of dollars to fix the mess they caused

Amazing Service.

I have been shopping for a good T.V. for awhile, finally, I decided to buy at Visions electronics on Marine Dr, Vancouver store, because of the very professional service, good product knowledge salesman. I recommend this to my friend too.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Was on hold for 30 mins by the time someone actually picked up I went to cancel my order but I was told a shipping label was already created but it took 2 more days before my product actually shipped and it’s been 4 business days and it my cell phone case still hasn’t arrived from Calgary to Toronto.

I bitterly regret not checking reviews… With a happy ending...

I bitterly regret not checking reviews for Visions Electronics before ordering a TV from them. The model I chose was out of stock at Best Buy and I tried my chances with Visions. I decided to cancel the order after receiving a message that the item was ordered from the manufacturer (in China?). I tried calling their Customer Service line for 3 days without a single answer. After 20 min. of wait the line disconnects. I received a reply via email from someone who signed simply as Gina, without a title, saying I cannot cancel because my order is already in transit, but I can return it within 15 days upon its arrival. It has now been a week since I paid for it and I have no answer as to when it will be delivered. Their website says around holidays it may take 3 or 4 weeks. Costco sells the same model at the same price, delivers within 3 days and actually has functional Customer Service.
Adding a later comment. The TV did arrive safely within about 10 days. No issues with it. Upped my rating to 3-star. Which doesn't cancel poor Customer Service, but reflects that the company stood by its commitment.

Terrible Experience with Order Cancellation and Customer Service

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Vision Electronics that I feel compelled to share. I placed an order online for a TV and realized shortly after that I needed to cancel it. I followed their guidelines to a T, cancelling the order just an hour later through their online help desk and receiving a confirmation.

Despite this, they failed to cancel the order in time, and the TV was picked up for delivery by AMJ Home Delivery. I even went the extra mile and informed the delivery company that the order had been cancelled, but it was picked up.

I've waited patiently for over a month for a refund, calling their customer service several times, each time being told they are "looking into it." Recently, my calls to their service line got hung up, and when I tried calling from a different phone, I was informed the manager was not available to speak.

If this is how Vision Electronics treats its customers, they don't deserve to be in business. I have lost time and money dealing with this company's inefficiency and poor customer service. I strongly advise anyone considering making a purchase here to think twice.

Excellent Customer Service in Hamilton Store

I brought my dashcam to the Hamilton Visions store today to have it installed. Nathan did a fabulous job and very patiently sat in the car and helped me download the app; he then showed me how to use the app, which also took a lot of patience. Very pleased with his efforts and also with Visions. Theirs was the cheapest price to install the dashcam. Should have bought the cam at Visions too, but I got caught up in Amazon's web a few weeks ago.

Run Don't Walk (away)

I should have heeded my initial instincts and run (not walked) in the opposite direction from this place. The 65 inch OLED tv that Visions sold me died after 2 weeks. A bummer for sure, but I figured I'd be all right in the end because I remembered that their slogan is "100% Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed", written in bold face type. Boy was I ever wrong! As for the slogan, its a cynical crock of b.s., as noted in many other reviews. I carefully packed up the tv (which of course was in pristine condition, except for the fact that it didn't work), and returned it to the Mississauga Dixie store for an exchange or refund, but both of these options were adamantly refused by the manager because, if you can believe it, I didn't happen to have retained in my possession the original box that the tv came in. Really? Who keeps a giant cardboard box a month after the item is installed? Its "corporate policy" said the manager, at which point I realized that if this was true I wasn't just dealing with one rogue manager but rather with a whole company of rogues. Visions' slogan should have read "Customer Satisfaction Never Guaranteed But We'll Always Be Happy To Show You the Door". This was not a case where the buyer decides to return a toaster because he's changed his mind and wants a different colour; its a defective expensive product case where the buyer has handed over the full price to the seller and has received nothing in return. After the manager stiffed me, he did offer up the helpful suggestion that I go chase the manufacturer under its warranty, which would then result in the manufacturer providing me with a new tv. Somewhat surprised, I questioned the manager whether in fact he had the authority to make such a commitment on behalf of the manufacturer, whereupon he admitted that he did not, but that he was (now) 99% certain that this would happen. Lacking any other recourse at this point I did contact the manufacturer which told me...you guessed it...that it would not be providing me with a new tv but rather would be sending out a repairman (at a future date to be determined) to poke, prod and fix. I did then manage to get in touch with the designated repairman (at a local electronics shop) who told me that the parts that would likely be required to fix the tv were all on back order (some but not all have now arrived in stock). Where this will all lead to who knows, but its not what I signed up for. The takeaway from the foregoing is that if you think that my treatment by Visions was acceptable and that it lived up to its slogan of 100% customer satisfaction, then by all means go ahead and roll the dice on a purchase. If not, then shop elsewhere like I most certainly will do. There are lots of reputable electronics retailers out there.

I purchased a laptop for me 10 year old…

I purchased a laptop for me 10 year old daughter and the extended warranty. The device stop working about 6 months in. The manufacturer fix it and about 6 months after it stop working again. Brought it to vision because their warranty was to now cover it but of course they sent it to their technician and said there was water damage and the will not fix it. It's a complete lie because if that was true the manufacturer would have stated that. I k now for a fact it's a lie. They are scammers. If I could give them 0 I would. Terrible company

Don't deal here , Look around , RUN AWAY

Shopping online and customer service is a complete garbage service. After 2 days they created the label , till here all good. After 2 days after they created the label the package was still in the warehouse . I call customer service many times , each times they have a robot which is told ET 11 minutes . 7 times called , every time 11 minutes and after I wait 11 minutes is nobody answer and the call cut off. After all this I go to warehouse and ask them how I can get my package . The manager told me , she can't give the package . I ask where is my package or How I can get the package, she told me was just pick up by Purolator. I called Purolator and they told me no way , the package is in the warehouse . This is a big company based on liers , sellers , which only want to sell you something but no service . Same town and I must wait for package 6 or more days to get delivery . I wonder if Mr Richard create this company and hired all the liers to get in business. Why are we not able to pick up the package from warehouse ? Because in the office they don't work , only talk about vacation , Mexico and all kind of BLA, BLA . This is the really low level company . SCAMERS , Garbage SERVICE . NEVER , NEVER again

I was a but hesitant after reading the…

I was a but hesitant after reading the reviews, however my experience was pleasant. I ordered $1500 worth of camera equipment from them. Everything arrived in good time with Purolator. All of my equipment is from a company that back their own products so I had no need for their extended warranty. All in all a good experience.

The salesman was fantastic The…

The salesman was fantastic The PROTOCOLS he is mandated to follow, cost visions, electronics, Canada, our loyalty.
As a retired couple, we needed a dryer for our laundry room. When we went down to look at it and pay for it, we were faced with having to make a separate financial arrangements with delivery, They will deliver the item to the laundry room, but we have to remove the old dryer and bring it outside for them. That is what we were told.
With all of the self glorification that visions insists they offer as a Canadian owned and operated store chain, was lost by the scam of pathetic customer service you get when you go to pay. This is what visions, electronics, Canada, proudly and sis, their employees behave like
If visions electronics Canada thinks to retired, people are able to haul a dryer up stairs, and outside on their own defeats, the purpose of coming to you to have it delivered
Your greed towards people who work hard for their money is an abomination of any attempt you have to be accommodating as a Canadian to another Canadian
If visions electronics Canada only cared 100%. You are appearing to be your own. Worst enemy. But it also appears a business must be so good that you’re greedy at every turn.
Sadly, I will look forward to your bankruptcy sale one day if you continue these practices, that is where you will end up.
Visions electronics Canada promoting being Canadian while acting very very non-Canadian looks like your competitors get our money from here on in. At least they’re willing to do all of the work for the customer and not parcel it out.

REALLY, do you expect seniors to carry their appliance upstairs and outside because the delivery people that bring the new one downstairs aren’t allowed to remove the old one
I wonder how many people have injure themselves with this last minute request when going to purchase?

It’s not often you get to see a franchise store like visions electronics, Canada, cut their own throat. But as I said, before business, must be really good to be able to behave in such a despicable and conniving manner. Once worse, having good honest people work for you having to perpetrate these bloodsucking rituals.

You’re just a lazy company who thinks because you waive the Canadian flag will look the other way. I’m getting fleeced at the last minute of closing. At least your competitors put it all into one package and remove the old one.

The salesman did nothing wrong. He was being prodded on by his store manager to follow the game. Salesman was a decent man. The behaviour of visions electronics Canada policy as what cost to the sale, and as they say future sales. Should’ve listened to my neighbor.

!!!!! Worst Purchase Experience !!!!!

purchase one car remote starter cost me $550 comes with warranty and apart from that i purchased extra warranty through vision. After two years the remote starter stopped working. I went to Vision Store and they told me the remote starter only costs $60. They can refund me the $60.They cant replace with another one because they don't have same model in stock. If i want to get one i need to pay for that. Technically i lost my money ,paid $550 for the remote starter and also paid $60+tax for extra warranty . Never ever buy anything from vision specially extra warranty . When i call them for claiming warranty their attitude is very rude .
Does this makes any sense??? for $60 product they charged $60 for extra warranty and now they are not ready to replace the car remote starter and they asked me to wait and they submitted order to get one from some other vendor. Its been almost six months now still waiting -no response

Purchased an LG Soundbar system Early…

Purchased an LG Soundbar system Early August 2021.
Product Arrived in Late Sept.2021.

LG has a known issue with software on their wireless subwoofers.

Mine finally quit connecting in Aug 2023.

Called Visions on Aug.16th for Warranty. They advised me I. 10 days out of the warranty period and there is nothing they can do.

Product was shipped on Aug.23/2021, therefore the warranty should start on the ship dates.

Never purchase LG Audio and Never purchase from Visions Electronics.
