Bought a tv 85 inch samsung for 2300…
Bought a tv 85 inch samsung for 2300 got it home screen was broken. called sunridge visions electronics and they said there is nothing they can do . What a rip off never again will I spend money there .
Stay away!!
I've had good luck dealing with Visions stores in the past and have spent several thousand dollars with them over the years. However, I recently purchased a laptop at their online store and had a horrible experience. Supposedly in stock in store and online... apparently not true. when I called to check on my order after no update for more than a week, they informed me it was a special order item and I should have read the fine print (which was on a totally separate page accessible only by a small inconspicuous link on the the order page.) They told me they were waiting for it to be shipped to them by the manufacturer and it could take 30 days or more! I informed them I couldn't wait 30 days and that I'd like to cancel my order. Again they said no can do, it's a special order. Hasn't been shipped, but they can't cancel??? I called one of the store locations and the manager who was actually quite sympathetic and helpful said that was complete BS. He offered to contact head office and have someone reach out to deal with it. So far nothing from head office, so VISA charge back it is. So ridiculous. They'd rather have a charge back and an angry customer who will never return than do the right thing and cancel an order that hasn't shipped yet and apparently won't ship till God knows when. Judging by the incredibly low score and bad reviews here and elsewhere nobody from Visions corporate is listening nor seems to care.

Dishonest Crooks. Warranty Rebate Scam.
Visions Electronics are dishonest crooks. If you're unaware of their business practices and you buy something from them DO NOT buy their extended warranty! Their salesman push this on you telling you that you will get the warranty amount back to apply to a future purchase if it is not used for a repair. I spent $800 on an extended warranty for a TV 5 years ago. When the 5 years was up and the warranty was not used I tried to apply for the warranty rebate thinking I would put it towards another TV at Visions Electronics. The people in the store can't help you, you have to deal with the head office. Here's the catch....they will not return emails and they will not pick up their phone. Try phoning them for yourself. You'll get a recording saying there is a made up waiting time like say around 12 minutes. You'll wait on hold for half an hour or more and then you will just be disconnected without anybody picking up. This happened to me over and over. I tried phoning and emailing numerous times. I was never able to use my $800 warranty rebate like they claim. When I purchased it I knew these extra warranties were a money making scam and that seldom do you ever need them. The manufacturers warranties are usually sufficient. But I thought heck if I can apply it towards another purchase what do I have to lose. Well you have the whole warranty amount to lose because they don't honor there warranty rebate! It seems obvious why they have terrible ratings everywhere. They are a dishonest deceitful company and I will never shop there again.
Escort Redline detector
I bought an escort redline 360c which is not detect all the radars. I write a review on their website . A review which they must approve!!!!!. How is this . The manufacturer are not able to explain why is not operate properly . This SCAMERS should stop lying and sell you all fake products.
This buying experience was the worst we…
This buying experience was the worst we have ever had. We were given the runaround about our delivery and then out and out lied to. We were sold a product that was not actually available, and then they tried the old bait and switch on us. They continued to lie about the delivery and try to sell us an inferior substitute until we just finally demanded a refund. We did get our refund but we would never deal with this company again and would most certainly tell everyone web know about our bad experience with them.
A very reliable company
A very reliable company. Fun to do business with. They ship on time only new and original and they have above and beyond service.
Fraud or false advertising?
Ad clearly shows a bonus harness with a binocular purchase. What is not clear is that you need to click on the description to navigate to a new page and order there... otherwise you get the binoculars sans harness!
Total scam! Now they won't honour the bonus nor pay the shipping to return it (so I can buy them at a reputable store and get the bonus, which is sponsored by Nikon).
They'll just make extra revenue off the "unsold" harnesses they got free from Nikon.
Absolutely ridiculous customer service
Absolutely ridiculous customer service. People are rude and dontcare about the customer. I placed an order for a Samsung TV which showed free shipping when I checked out. The TV was not shipped for 5 days after which I called them to inquire. I was told that I had to pay $950 SHIPPING CHARGE on a $1500 tv! I have never heard anything like that before. So ridiculous!! And they were very casual about it. Wow. Do not shop here!!!
Worst Service I've Ever Seen
Had the misfortune of doing business here twice. Both times resulting in problems, with no solutions or satisfaction either time. Dealt with Oscar, a salesman with a negative, hostile disposition, full of a million excuses. The manager is equally hostile and entirely devoid of customer service skills. No surprise the average rating for this business is 1 star. Worst I've ever seen.
Scammers
Scammers! Advertise 70% off Center Speaker called to check stock and sales person said, “yeah..no! None of the stores will have one of those.” False advertising!
Warranty ?? BEWARE
Bought a $2000 Sony TV and was skillfully talked into a $400 5yr warranty. Turns out this 5 year warranty actually only adds 3 years to the 2yr. warranty that comes with the TV!
Although free delivery is advertised they could not give me a date for delivery and instead helped me put it in my car.
At home the TV slipped out of my hands and a quick call to Sony confirmed the broken screen can not be replaced.
I did not expect the warranty to apply as it was clearly my doing so I went back to the store to at least get a refund for that $400 warranty. A warranty refund was DENIED and it was suggested I buy another TV, they are willing to transfer that warranty to the new one. While a salesman was working away on a computer trying to get me a best price under the circumstances another employee, the only one dressed in a white shirt (David H.)and tye, came over and asked if he could help. Pointing to the salesman at the computer I told him he's trying to find a better price and explained what has happened. Obviously I was sure he was a manager when he went to the salesman and then came back and told me he has direct contacts at Sony and will see if a good will gesture from Sony was possible. He gave me his private # and said I would hear from him. A few days later he called to tell me that Sony service can not replace the screen, (which I already knew), and his contact at Sony is out west and too far away. Turns out he is just another salesman (not a manager!) and just stole me, the customer, from the other salesman...... He told me he would have the real Whitby manager call me but that call never came.
I went to the Scarborough store where they looked up my original purchase. They were not able to refund my $400 warranty either BECAUSE THEY DID NOT KNOW HOW MUCH I PAID FOR IT ?! Their computer showed them my invoice which I also had it in my hand. It clearly says warranty $349.99 !
They reduced the price of the Sony by another $250 and said it was not in stock but will be available by Friday March 3. It didn’t arrive. Now I was told it would arrive on the 7th but I could take home the same TV in stock as Open Box (which is code for 'used') until the new one arrives.
Although I'm 83 yrs old I'm a little less gullible now after reading the overwhelming number of very negative reviews and decided to just keep waiting for the new one with my fingers crossed.
HOW ON EARTH CAN A COMPANY THIS BAD CONTINUE TO EXIST ???
If I could give a negative review I…
If I could give a negative review I would. I purchased a Samsung tv online, but it never worked properly right off the bat. I called customer service the next day, and was told to call Samsung, not Vision's problem. Their advertised return policy and their satisfaction guarantees seem impossible to implement, and apparently exist as customer lures like a fake lure to a naive fish.
I'm still trying to recover my purchase price for a tv that never worked. Go to Costco or Amazon for your tv. Avoid Visions and their cheating ways. Don't support an unethical business. Insist they honour their word.
WORST EXPERIENCE: You end up paying more
Wish I read the reviews before I purchased from them online. I recently ordered the GoPro Hero 11 Creator Edition online. The website listed that a 32gb mini sd card was included. When I received it, it was missing, so I went online and the rep told me, "Oh well it's not listed in the GoPro website so it must be a mistake." Problem is, 1. It is in fact listed in the GoPro site, and 2. If your explicitly list it, you should honour it. So they decide to send me one, but they send me a low quality Kingston 32gb, not the Sandisk Extreme 32gb, which does not support 4k recordings and has slow read and write speed, so much so that the GoPro throws a warning.
What's been frustrating is that I send all these screenshots to the rep, and the rep sends me one screenshot of the GoPro and says, "it's not included", when it is, clearly in the photo, and again mentioned in the pop up modal when you check out on the GoPro official website. DON'T EVER BUY FROM VISIONS. You end up paying more, and end up having to do their job because they don't do their due diligence.
Excellent Staff
I came to Visions with a difficult hardware problem, and Robin and Andrew were very kind and helpful. After unsuccessfully checking every possible solution, they steered me to another business which could possibly help, and there I was successful. Thank you Visions, for having staff that were kind and thoughtful, and patient enough to spend the time trying to solve my issue.
They don't price match and beat - very dishonest
Provide a product to them and asked them to price match - met all their conditions. They chose not to honor them and took the item off their website literally one hour after I spoke with their retail store. Very dishonest and does not provide a genuine explanation.
I was very impressed with the customer…
I was very impressed with the customer service I received yesterday and again today. I purchased a smart watch from your store yesterday and the gentle man (Azeem) that serviced me was very polite and answered all my questions to the best of his ability. Unfortunately after trying to register it and get it working after purchasing, I couldn't get it to work at all. In the morning I called your store and Colin answered and was very helpful and actual helped me. He was very polite and helpful. I returned the item to the store, the male clerk who helped me, was able to help very quickly and get the situation corrected to the best of his ability (I didn't get his name). I will definitely return to your store again when I need to make another purchase.
It was nice to feel like I got great customer services while shopping. Keep up the good job.
My visit to your store 006 on Feb 06
My visit to your store 006 on Feb 06, 2023 was made very pleasant and comfortable with Emmanuel. My TV purchase was only for about $250 but he spent time answering all my questions and reinforced my decision, not trying to upsell me. He also explained your great 2 year warranty.
No customer service. What a horrible experience.
I purchased a cell phone screen saver. It was purchased on Dec 27th. I had it installed in the store. I went back on the 14th of Feb. I was told too bad. Not our problem. It is a slight inconvenience! The guy was a real a hole. Clearly they do not stand behind there products or service. There is 1 star because it is not an option to give 0 starts. Needless to say I will never purchase anything there again and will be very vocal about the experience. I am glad I purchased one with warranty, now I have to pay for the exchanged due to no customer service.
