I completed a three-month React development course with Victor in a mentorship format, and it was an incredible experience since we created a fully functional project deployed on a server. We had weekly calls, where we spent about an hour working through difficult aspects of the service development. Concurrently, Victor assigned me tasks and asked questions from the work area during discussions, not limited to the current task. It was interesting to move from simple solutions to more complex ones, as resolving issues often led to the necessity of changing the solution to make it more universal and correct. He also provided valuable recommendations for passing interviews, and we conducted one mock interview (he offered to do more).

Victor approached my preparation professionally: he gave feedback very quickly and provided direction for problem-solving. At the beginning of our journey, he explained the structure of interviews, including problem-solving and the Q&A part. We examined LeetCode problems during our calls and studied problem testing and writing unit tests using Vitest. Then we deployed the code to GitHub, where all tests ran automatically and checked our code.

During these three months, I significantly improved my skills in GitHub, HTML, CSS, and testing with Vitest. Victor also introduced me to many cool developer services, adding value to my professional development. Thanks to his mentorship, I gained tremendous development experience.

Victor is professional. He reviewed my CV, gave feedback, and helped to fix it. At the beginning of our journey, he clarified the interview structure, such as, problem solving, Q&A part. Also, we had meetings, where he explained the tips of problem solutions. We examined leetcode and bfe problems during our calls. In addition, he explained problem testing and writing unit tests, and then we deployed it to github, where all tests run automatically and check our code.

It was interesting to go from a simple solution to a more complex one, since Victor, after solving the problem, asked questions that led to the fact that the solution had to be changed, making it more universal and correct. He also noticed that it was worth refreshing from the theory. He gave valuable recommendations on passing interviews.
