My experience from start to finish has been amazing. Honestly the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The explanation for everything is just great. My dentist dr will shaw who did my composite is actually the best by far, he takes every detail in for what you want and is so lovely he took his time too. And made sure I went home with the perfect smile. He kept stopping looking back and checking and doing it again he is a perfectionist! So happy and pleased with the service I have got. Will definitely recommend to everyone

Cannot recommend Vitruvian Barnsley and the team enough, I’ve had an unbelievable experience from start to finish. Phoebe was brilliant from the get go, guiding me in my consultation and always being on hand throughout the whole process if I had any questions. The whole studio and team have thought of every detail to make you feel amazing throughout the process. I went for composite bonding, the team made me feel comfortable throughout. Amy and Steven were so accommodating in my treatment and made me feel at ease, they were so friendly and really helpful also. Steven has an insane amount of talent and has literally transformed my smile to perfection! Thanks again team, I would 100% recommend getting any treatment done here!

Recently visited Vitruvian, dental nurse Amy was lovely, welcoming and friendly.

Having bad experiences in the past I was very nervous. But Tristan and his dental nurse Amy just made me feel so comfortable throughout. My new crowns look so natural and I have already had so many compliments on my new look.

I just had my top 10 teeth done at Vitruvian Dental studio and cannot fault anything! We started with an initial consultation and scans to see my teeth to decide what I actually needed! Started off with teeth whitening and then composite bonding treatment and im SO HAPPY with the results!! I’ve always had insecurities about my front teeth and this has completely changed that for me.
Liv Owens was super helpful and made sure I was all booked in before I went travelling and had super speedy replies and such great communication !
May come back for my bottom set as the procedure is done very well here, Dr Katy Nolan is amazing at what she does!

Considering I was about to spend £15k on implants, being greeted by "Hiya darlin'" wasn't a good start, neither was the smirk & grunt from the "young lady" in the ill fitting suit sat in the corner. Money spent on swanky surroundings & a play station in the "private waiting room" would be better focused on customer service training for reception staff at Barnsley! The initial consultation turned out to be a 'sales pitch' by a young man who couldn't answer any of my questions and to actually get ANY relevant information - including what I would actually be charged, would cost me £100 apparently. Needless to say - I'll be going elsewhere. I'm sure for the noughties generation this approach is 'cool' but definitely not for those of us who value basic curtesy and good service. On the plus side (trying to be balanced here!) it is in a very convenient location in the Glasshouse.

I joined Vitruvian in July/Aug with complex dentistry needs. After teeth extractions and dentures. The deep cleans have caused nothing but problems, I was under the Leeds dental institute for 4 years having regular deep cleans and NEVER had any problems. I was complaining about a pain in my top left back tooth from early November went once to see the hygienist. And the pain got so much worse I rang NHS 111. This pain has now turned into a serious infection with extremely loose tooth which will either fall out or have to be extracted. But not at Vitruvian they are all about fake smiles and composite bonding NOT real grass roots dentistry. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I am now tied into a 5 year payment plan but will be seeking advice from the dental negligence team. This has caused my anxieties to reach a whole new level of depression.

I chose this studio based on its reviews as I am the process of trying to have my teeth whitened and sorted due to not being able to see an NHS dentist or get an NHS dentist in Leeds.

My initial experience with Alice the hygienist was positive. I had two sessions and both times I have only come away from these appointments with only positive things to say.

However, my experience with Dr Jess and the rest of the studio has been a complete struggle and an unnecessary challenge, which has resulted in me chasing the Studio for answers on numerous occasions to the sound of silence.

At my first appointment for a check up, I was moved from 3pm to 3:10pm by a text message from the studios system. I didn’t have a problem with this. (As my number was used in the correct way) I arrived at 3:05pm and had to wait upstairs in a booth with no air conditioning for 45 minutes, until I was finally seen at 3:50pm. I was asked if I wanted a drink and I said a black coffee, (should have said Vat of water) which wasn’t brought to me until 3:30pm, honestly, 25 minutes to make a black coffee?

I then entered the studio booth absolutely drenched in sweat from the heat as there is no air-con, only to be rushed through as Dr Jess had completely over run on appointment times and my next appointment for the hygienist was at 4pm as this was back to back. The whole process felt like a rush and when you have booked an appointment you should feel at least like they want you to be there.

I heard nothing for 3 weeks as I had another issue and potentially needed a root canal, I had to chase the studio everyday for a week and never got a single simple straight answer from anyone about the next steps of my treatment plan, until I had to write a firm and direct email after a week of chasing an answer, To still no resolution! It was only when I said I’m using another studio, the calls and emails started coming, with finally being told I need more work, which could have been told to me in advance as I have to travel for work and then take time off and days off to make appointments, further more the studio manager had taken my number off the system and sent me WhatsApp’s from her personal number which I never said I wanted and never agreed to my number being used in this way. For that I have reported them to the ICO as this isn’t acceptable.

A week later I receive a call from Dr Jess on a private number, like nothing has happened, claiming to have left voicemails on my phone when there was not one voicemail until I complained and she got her act together! Poor poor customer service

Ultimately, tread with caution with this Studio, it’s nice on the surface but nobody has a clue what they are doing, I’d expect this from an NHS dentist, but not a private clinic where you are paying for the privilege of services which you aren’t receiving! I advise everyone to avoid!

**Update**

The owner James has been emailing me on the back of my initial google review to resolve the situation and asked me to come back and give the studio another go, my review and opinion will not change, this studio has taken too many risks with how they handle appointments, data and customer satisfaction and even in his email there has been no liability taken by the owner, the staff and the Dr, herself.

Never a fan of having to go to a dentist, but having not been able to get one for years, I took the plunge with Vitruvian.
3rd visit yesterday for extraction of 3 wisdom teeth and a filling, definitely wasn't looking forward to the appointment 😬, but I'm so happy to report that the wonderful Dr Jessica is amazing. Not only did I not feel the Local Anaesthetic being administered, I felt absolutely nothing else and was all done and dusted within 40 minutes.
I received a phone call at 11am this morning from Vitruvian to see how I was feeling and a follow-up from yesterday for any problems issues or concerns.
Everyone I've met at Vitruvian are all very friendly, professional and try their utmost to make your appointment as pleasant as it can possibly be. Exceptional 5 star service.
