If I could give 0 stars I would
Booked a fitness studio through Vivify Venues and it was an absolute joke.
Tried to cancel with plenty of notice and they flat out refused. Kept pointing to terms and conditions that do not even properly cover single bookings. When I challenged that, they admitted it was unclear and still refused to refund or do anything.
Went back and forth over multiple emails and got absolutely nowhere. Every reply was the same useless copy and paste with no effort, no accountability and no interest in fixing it.
It is not even about the money, it is the sheer arrogance and lack of basic customer service. Completely inflexible and frankly just unreasonable.
DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!
Awful cancellation policy and poor customer service
I booked two single sessions with Vivify Venues in March 2026. When I tried to cancel with plenty of notice, they refused. They kept pointing me to their terms and conditions but the cancellation section does not even mention single session bookings. They actually admitted this in writing and still would not give me a refund. I sent email after email trying to sort it out and got nowhere. It is only £60 but the attitude was shocking. No flexibility, no common sense, nothing. If you are making a one off booking through this platform just know that you have zero cancellation rights and they will not help you at all. Avoid!!!
Late booking - fantastic service!!
We made a late, very late, booking for the next morning and Kate was superb making sure everything was ok and the match was good to go ahead (she was still processing everything gone 11pm!) couldn’t have had better service and will 100% book again and recommend to other teams/clubs. Thanks again Kate!!! 👏 5 star and more!

On hold for over 1 hour around an existing booking. local venue brilliant but wish they hadnt outsourced to Vivify
There is no flexibility within cancellation policy
There is no flexibility within their cancellation policy. They cancelled at last minute (24 hours notice) back in Nov,. and due to that I managed to find a different/cheaper/better venue for our class. When I explained that we wanted to move that class they insisted that I could only cancel 4 weeks, so I still have to pay for another 2 full terms because I had booked a year in advance. Can this be right? They shoved their cancellation notice in my face. IF they hadn't cancelled in the first place, we would still happily have stayed. Does anyone have a similar experience with this dreadful company. Yes prices increased, and bad service at the venue.
Consistently Unprofessional and Deeply Unreliable Service
My experience with Vivify Venues has been nothing short of unacceptable. I initially booked an indoor venue in December, three weeks in advance, only for the booking to be rejected at the very last minute. This left me with no opportunity to secure an alternative venue, causing significant inconvenience. To make matters worse, it took them over a month to process the refund.
Hoping this was an isolated incident, I made another booking more than two weeks in advance. Unfortunately, the same pattern of unprofessional behaviour repeated itself. My booking remained in “pending” status despite contacting them three separate times. Each call involved waiting over 15 minutes before anyone answered, only to receive the same empty assurances that someone would call back with an update. No meaningful progress was ever made, and no promised call was ever returned.
One of the explanations I received was that they were “very busy.” As a paying customer, this excuse is both dismissive and concerning. It raises the question of whether certain customers are given priority while others are left waiting indefinitely.
In the end, I had to request that they reject the booking just so I could attempt to secure a venue elsewhere. Now I am left wondering how long I will have to wait for yet another refund.
Vivify Venues has demonstrated a clear lack of reliability, communication, and respect for their customers’ time and commitments. The service is unprofessional, poorly managed, and frankly, extremely disappointing.
Consistently unreliable
This is a company you should avoid at all costs. If a venue is being managed by them, you would be much better off looking elsewhere. My sports organisation had the misfortune of working with venues within their jurisdiction over the past few years, simply because these are strategically located, quality sports halls (with questionable management teams that have inexplicably chosen to hire this company).
Over this time period, we've experienced a vast array of problems that could only be described as incompetence and lack of care. Here are some examples that everyone should be fully aware of if they are considering any sort of cooperation with them:
1) Caretaker did not show up and they failed to send a replacement, leading to the cancellation of an entire day of booking (numerous times)
2) The venue was unavailable (exams/school event) and they only informed us late on the same day
3) The venue was unavailable (exams/school event) and they forgot to inform us altogether, people turned up to a locked building (often early morning, after travelling for hours)
4) Double booking resulted in cancellation despite having booked months in advance
5) Teams did not communicate with each other, advanced booking requests and agreements were completely disregarded/discarded as a result, leaving us in a major clash with other hirers
6) Venues in absolutely terrifying conditions for months without any improvement (no showers, no toilet access, no cleaning provided, broken doors, no hygiene equipment) that forces hirers to clean the facilities themselves before use
7) We were sold the full court at the full court rate just to find out one of the basketball rims was broken on arrival
It is nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone during these moments of crisis, especially if it occurs on a weekend which happens to be the case for our events. Even if you manage to get someone on the phone, it is almost guaranteed that they will not lift a finger to assist you and will simply offer a refund (which you are contractually entitled to anyway) without any compensation for inconvenience caused. No apologies, no replacement venues.
It is tragic that the market saturation has dragged the quality of service in this industry to an all-time low and companies like Vivify have the ability to just sit back and enjoy the incoming business rather than making an actual effort for customer satisfaction.

Staff Matthew approach is unhelpful and unprofessional. Rude !
The customer service experience is not conducive to resolving issues. The cancellation policy is also unsatisfactory. Even with a three to four-week notice, a charge is still applied. I would not recommend using this website to book venues
Avoid
Avoid. Don't book with them, lots if consequences with this company. They promise one thing, later they change booking without any notes/call/email. It's always big problem with them
Warning
Warning: Book with extreme caution. I had a dreadful experience. The customer support was completely ineffective, but the biggest issue is with the terms and conditions. Be very aware of what you are agreeing to. I am now contacting the school venue directly. This is a terrible way to manage community resources.
Avoid bookings. You will be messed about.
terrible terrible organisation
in my last two bookings i've had the following:
first booking: turned up to the venue and the booked facilities were not available, and the vivify representative onsite didn't have access - approximately 30 children and their families affected
second booking: received a call the day before a confirmed booking to say a system error led to a double booking and they would need to cancel.
won't be using vivify again.

Ricardo is a credit to St Ambrose Vivify Lettings. Ricardo is always happy to help with a smile and a high5! He works really hard to keep the venue tidy and is a friendly member of the team.
Absolutely appalling company
Absolutely appalling company. They claim to make the booking process smooth and hassle-free — what a joke! Not only do they cancel bookings on you last minute, but they also refuse to let you cancel when needed. The invoicing system is unnecessarily complicated, and their customer service is a complete disgrace.
Staff talk over you, show zero empathy, fail to follow up on promised callbacks, and frankly, seem to lack any understanding of what “customer service” actually means. This company is a sham, avoid at all costs unless you enjoy stress, confusion, and being treated like an inconvenience.
Fraudster company
Fraudster company, very terrible. They forbid you cancel your booking, but they cancel your booking anytime if they want. Their system allow multi booking at same time. So you maybe kicked out even they confirmed your booking. Stay away from them. Be aware.

Vivify have always been fantastic and excellent to deal with nothings too much trouble and they work promptly and efficiently we have been working with them as a grassroots club and wouldn’t use anyone else
Good team work
Whenever there is a problem with the venue, Vivify contact me as soon as possible so we can try and have alternatives. At the venue the team are fabulous and always help to resolve issues with the venue, such as moving tables and chairs, or trying to find last minute alternatives when we have an unforseen issue.
I have to say that Rob from the office in Manchester is really great and pro active in contacting me.
Alperen, Holly and James at the venue are a great team to work with, always helping with issues, fab to work with.
Vivify are a good company at managing hiring the halls and sports halls, I would definately recommend them.
Keep up the good work team.
