it does not open the garage door from down the street as advertised and when it is plugged in, it will not allow me to exit the car for more than 15 seconds before the car alarm goes off. So far, it is a terrible product. However, Vivint is aware of the problem and will correct it when they complete the installation of other items that were not available on initial installation.

Can't seem to keep it connected. Everytime I look at it in the app it asks me to set it up again. Might be the battery in it?

It worked as promised but the location that it pluggs into in my wife's car if right under the steering wheel and she keeps kicking it out. This device is way too bulky for her make and model. I've removed this device.

I have had this for a week and no one seems to know how to connect it. I would not recommend this to anyone. The tech who brought it to me did not know how to connect it. I tried over 20 times and it did not connect and another tech came out for something else and he said he did not know how to connect it so he did not try and I talked to 3 people over the phone. One of the reasons I wanted Vivint was because of the car guard.
