Great colour way but the collar is padded with something so hard and uncomfortable and the sole has zero traction for hiking.

Thank you for posting your review.The item you selected is a kids shoe and is part of our outdoor range.However the adult version is a totally different shoe.Both have a puncture resistant Tri- Hex outer sole that has been tested over many miles for all types of offroad conditions. The FG Outer sole often gets as much as 1300km on hard rocky terrain. We would have suggested the adult shoe simply because it contains more components that are relevant to adult feet.
