I am deeply disappointed with Vivobarefoot’s handling of my recent orders. I placed two orders using the VIVO50 code, which was accepted by their system at checkout. Both orders were subsequently cancelled. While I understand technical errors happen, the response from customer service (specifically Aziza and Tom Watsham) has been dismissive and inconsistent. I have documented evidence from the community showing that Vivobarefoot has chosen to honour multiple orders for some customers while cancelling others for doing the exact same thing. This arbitrary "picking and choosing" of which customers to support is unfair and lacks transparency.Furthermore, the claim that terms were "clearly stated" is misleading, as no usage limits were visible or enforced during the checkout process. For a brand that prides itself on "B-Corp" ethical standards and transparency, this experience has been anything but.I was excited to be a long-term customer, but due to this un ethical and inconsistent treatment, I will be taking my business to competitors like Xero Shoes or Bedrock instead. I’ve requested a simple gesture of goodwill to honour the discount, but have been met with scripted walls.Avoid if you value consistent customer service.
UPDATE: Vivo's reply is misleading. Their detailed explanation was a scripted email claiming a single use rule that was never displayed at checkout and is being applied inconsistently. I have provided evidence of others having multiple orders honoured, which they have ignored. This isn't about expectations it's about fair and transparent trading. Still no resolution.

Sukaina was very helpful in cancelling my order and issuing a refund. Pleasant experience.

I love Vivo shoes I wear nothing else but Vivo shoes please avoid these sandals because it really hurts your 3rd, 4th and 5th toe because the way it has been manufactured the bump on the edges rubs all the time I only wear them for about 30 minutes and my little toes were in pain for few days i.return them next day I try to explain why I return them but the manager in covent garden didn't even wanted to know about it she just issued the refund shame really I hope Vivo products don't start going down the hill

Ai customer service bot that doesn't understand questions, should be deleted. Ordered on May 1st order still processing, no mention of delays when ordering. Honestly infuriating, it's 2026 all products should ship the same day.

The leather boots that I purchased less than 2 years ago have split on the back panel. I really expect leather boots to last much longer than this and the customer service was completely unhelpful and very slow to reply

As a mom I would stay away from Vivo for your kids. These shoes are not safe and good quality. I thought when I spent $100 for Vivo shoes my daughter will have something nice and durable to wear. It’s a gimmick - a key component of the shoe is such a low quality - a Velcro zipper that keeps the shoe on stopped working after few wearing. I’ve had shoes from different brands for the same price and my daughter would wear so much and the velcro is still excellent compared to Vivo. When I compared it I can see how Vivo velcro is much cheaper compare to a different brand I have. This is not good for kids if the shoe can’t stay on! Now this makes sense to me why my daughter kept falling more when wearing these shoes. I’ve send emails with videos and pictures. At first I had a response and now they ignore my emails.

*This issue has been resolved and I am very happy with how Vivobarefoot dealt with me and the issue.
My order was estimated to be delivered on April 27, but has not arrived and tracking shows that the shipping info hasn't been updated since April 23.
I have contacted the company (Vivobarefoot customer services) twice - two days ago and this morning - but have received no reply.
I paid extra for the fast delivery, on top of an already pretty expensive pair of boots. The money has been deducted from my account and I have no idea where the item is. They were a present for a birthday that has come and gone.
I am really disappointed with the service - or lack of - since I have tried to figure out where the item is.
Resorting to this in an attempt to get some assistance.

Brought a pair of tracker boots, got used to them, love them but have a problem at present with the soles detaching from the leather. Tried calling, whatsapping, , messaging and emailing them but all I got was AI and isn’t being solved. Very disappointing as there’s aren’t cheap - great product appalling customer service - real shame

I have been buying Vivo barefoot trainers, sandals and boots for over a decade. I am always thrilled with their comfort durability and quality & they look great.
I use the trainers at the gym and another pair for walking. I had a knee injury and bought the boots after my operation for stability. I felt very confident wearing these after my knee replacement surgery.
I have trekked in India and other places with different weather conditions and am always confident when wearing barefoot.
Easy to order online because I know my size and have bought from the London store.
Recently I bought the Sensus Yin Sandal - absolutely perfect. I returned sandals that I didn’t like - the return was very easy to pack up and take to the Post Office with immediate acknowledgment of the return.
Ordering and delivery by Royal Mail is incredibly easy and quick.
Thank you 🙏 for ongoing support and brilliant choice of colours and styles without compromising the quality.

I’ve been a loyal Vivobarefoot customer for over five years and have worn their footwear almost exclusively, so this review is not something I write lightly.
In November, I had a serious accident while wearing a pair of Tracker boots. While running to cross a road, the boot clasps became locked together, causing me to fall heavily with no way to break my fall. The result was severe: a fractured kneecap, head injury, chipped hand bone, and extensive bruising. I was unable to work for six weeks (I’m self-employed) and am still recovering.
To Vivobarefoot’s credit, they initially responded and asked me to return the boots for analysis, which I did promptly. However, since then, the experience has been extremely disappointing. Over a two-month period, I sent multiple follow-up emails simply asking them to confirm receipt of the boots and provide an update — all of which have been ignored.
At this point, the issue is no longer just about the product (which I believe has a serious design flaw if clasps can interlock during normal movement), but about the complete lack of communication and accountability. Being left without any response after a serious injury and full cooperation on my part is unacceptable.
I genuinely liked this brand and trusted their products, but this experience has completely undermined that trust. I would strongly caution others to consider both product safety and aftercare before purchasing.

Great feel and comfort, but really not made to last. Also overpriced. At least be durable if overpriced.

I've been trying to get hold of the customer service for weeks , I lost count how many emails I sent (at least 6, website chat is a joke!) and no one ever replied ! I’m genuinely appalled how can a company with such a strong brand have a non existent customer service, is the inbox not being monitored or just ignored??
I’ve been having quality issues with a few (!) pairs of vivo shoes.
As a family we’ve been loyal customers for a few years now and absolutely love the shoes but recently they have been wearing out too quickly.
- the Velcro straps of kids Gobi AND girls school shoes became loose after a few weeks of wear and unsafe
- kids primus got worn out after two months with a hole in the sole! I appreciate they are heavily used, kids are very active, but it seems a bit too soon for a brand of this quality and price point
- women’s primus I bought from revivo didn’t even last one summer with the sole separated from the textile in several places.
I’d like someone to finally look into it, get back to me (like you are supposed to!) and a refund!
I still have kids pairs from previous years that kids would wear non stop and still look like new but this year the quality is just not up to a usual standard.
PLEASE REPLY!

I was unfortunate enough to loose my shoes on delivery but a refund was sent immediately along with a 30% discount code to put towards a future order. I really appreciate that !

Love the shoes for walking. Got a running pair which I had to return - got straight through to a real person, not a bot, who could not have been more helpful, and the return has been super smooth. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable boots, but poor quality, disappointing repair service and frustratingly poor customer service.
I purchased the boots in September and a month later the tab at the back broke. I contacted customer services. Firstly by text and had an unhelpful conversation with AI. I tried to phone but couldn't get through. I then emailed- no response, so I emailed again, and a third time- still no response. Eventually (about 2 months later) I phoned and spoke to someone. They offered to refund the boots if I returned them, and I could buy them again. By this time the boots were out of stock. I asked could they fix them through their repair service. Again I waited weeks for a response, when they eventually replied they said they could not fix them. I was surprised as I'd asked my local cobbler who said they could easily repair the boots. I asked Vivo if they would offer a partial refund to cover the cost of the repair if I got it done myself. No response. I emailed twice more. Eventually I got a response which completely ignored my question and sent me a return slip to post back the boots and receive a refund. I was so disappointed. I wanted to keep the boots (and save them from probably ending up in landfill!) however by this time I was frustrated and had wasted so much time trying to communicate with customer services, I gave up and returned the boots for a refund.

I’m very disappointed with Vivobarefoot’s customer service and warranty support.
I purchased a pair of Vivobarefoot hiking shoes from an authorized retailer (Outnorth). After less than 6 months of light use (3–4 hikes per month), the outsole wore down significantly, became smooth, and even lost a lug completely, making the shoes slippery and unsafe.
Outnorth rejected my claim, calling it “normal wear and tear,” so I contacted Vivobarefoot directly, as the shoes were still within their 6-month warranty. At first, they replied with generic instructions to submit a claim through their return portal. However, their system only accepts order numbers starting with EU/RW/US — which I don’t have, since I bought through a retailer. I explained this clearly multiple times.
After that, they simply stopped responding. No solution, no alternative process, no support.
For a brand that promotes quality and durability, this level of customer care is unacceptable. The product failed prematurely, and the company showed no willingness to properly review the case.
I really liked the shoes in terms of comfort and design, but the outsole quality and especially the customer service experience were extremely disappointing.
I would not recommend based on this experience.
UPDATE 16. of May, 2026
The next day after I posted this review, I received by e-mail a request for «more information», which I provided, and that was it. Nothing more has been said or done.

After placing my order back in November 2025, Royal Mail courier threw the parcel in general waste bin next to the house I live in, and called it a "safe place". Few days later, by the time I was back home, the bin was emptied. Not Vivobarefoot's fault, so I tried contacting Royal Mail, but they told me to resolve this by contacting the seller due to their policy.
Here is why I give this negative review: it looks like Vivobarefoot support only exists as a front for appearing as if they care for customers, but when in reality your support requests will be ignored and no one will look into your inquiry for months. I tried contacting Vivobarefoot by all means possible: phone call (no one ever answers), WhatsApp (no response), built-in website chat (with AI bot who will keep going in circles with limited reply options), email (silence after an auto-generated reply). All of these methods over the course of 4 months resulted in ZERO acknowledgements or follow-ups.
Update: After complaining here, the blunder was resolved. I wish it didn't have to be this way, but thanks for addressing the issue promptly. I hope it won't become the new standard for customer service of reputable brands.

I always give praise where praise is due but this company have absolutely let me down .
Bought a pair of shoes last April and they were the most comfy shoes I had ever bought and I’m an ol’ gal ! However , they broke down on one side and I paid for repair. As they were a “ fine weather “ shoe didn’t use them again till just recently.. and ended up with a toe injury, caused by the “ repair “ rubbing the toe .The contact centre didn’t give a toss ! All they offered was refund of repair .. which was nothing .. as the shoes cost over £120 ! They then proceeded to tell me the shoes were 12 months old .. even though had to have them repaired last year after minimal use 🥴 I was only offered 15% off another pair .. but they didn’t even tell me if I sent them back I could have a 20% discount code off ( which I still haven’t received.. even though they have had shoes back !
NB The company , in their reply , have asked for more details … but haven’t actually stated what extra details they require ! Which actually sums up what a mess this is ! All we would like is a refund of £126 .. which is fair .. as item useless even after repair and returned to them as unwearable ! Caused a blister plus blood where repair done ! You could not make this situation up .. diabolical way to treat a customer

Made a mistake with my returns parcels - Vivobarefoot customer service was friendly, efficient and really prompt - I had my refund within 4 days. Thank you Vivobarefoot
