I make daily calls to the “fart lovers”…

I make daily calls to the “fart lovers” hotline, where you can call in and listen to different types of flatuence noises, and I’ve never had any trouble hearing them.

Even the runniest ones just sound so clear and great no matter how many hours I call/listen.

I've never heard a "choppy" sounding fart in over 5 years with VOIPo!!

Voipo is excellent!

Voipo was always able to provide me with reliable phone service for several months now. I can't imagine working right now without Voipo. I have experienced minor issues but their friendly customer service was always able to help me fix it. I definitely recommend Voipo 100%.

Do not use Voipo the unlikeable phone company.

Do not use Voipo. Owner Timothy D
VOIPo
19 Spectrum Pointe Drive
Suite 602
Lake Forest, CA 92630

Owner Timothy D failed to disclose a known breach of accounts all data, texts and phone calls, because of this, systems were down for months causing losses, and breaching his fiduciary responsiblity. Horrible customer service. They would not answer phones for months, nor return any support. They will not offer refunds as all.
There are many other high quality VOIP services. Mr. D, appears to be running his business hard nosed, versus what he claims customer service is our priority. They have no consciousness for the damages they have cause.

Avoid VOIPo

Was a VOIPo customer since 2014. In November 2019, all users lost all service function for a month due to a botched migration. All services were completely unavailable. We were kept in the dark and constantly received vague promises services would be restored shortly. After 3 weeks of waiting I could not continue to not have access to my main number and urgently ported out. For this service outage, they offered a single month of service for the customers who stayed with them, an 8$ value. Everyone who ported out received nothing. In a market with many choices there is no reason to pick VOIPo under any circumstance. There was and is no ownership for a major system failure that was ultimately their responsibility. There was a silver lining in all this however: my new provider is far more versatile, stable, and cheaper all at the same time. Would not have found them if I didn't have to port out.

Yes, they are THAT BAD

Do not contract with VOIPO - most of their users currently are on day 20+ of no service. Good luck getting someone on the phone or getting a straight answer. The trail of carnage as a result of their inability to easily resolve a redundancy issue (or better yet, prevent one) and how they dealt with it, is something you would find on an episode of "American Greed". The owner deserves to be locked up.

1 star is too high a rating for VoIPo

1 star is too high a rating for VoIPo. Since October 12, I have not had service. Incoming calls fail to ring the ATA modem they provide as well as my BYOD devices. On a daily basis I Email and update trouble tickets but they only write back and say restart the device. I restart the ATA multiple times a day but it does nothing to fix the problem. They have never once answered the the support line and refuse to call me back. They said they don't give refunds for service problems too. This is a fake company and you are crazy if you read all these bad reviews and sign up for this service. There needs to be a class action law suite.

My business phone is constantly down

My business phone is constantly down. It is terrible. They don't notify you if they are having issues. You only find out if someone lets you know that your phone isn't working. I've had to get myself in the habit of calling myself to see if my phones work every day.

Works maybe 15% of the time

Works maybe 15% of the time. You won't receive many calls because folks calling you can't get thru. If you manage to make a call, they won't be able to hear you or you won't be able to hear them. It would be better to have no phone than to have voipo, then you won't be expecting a working phone when in reality you have nothing.

We joined Voipo in 2017 for both home…

We joined Voipo in 2017 for both home and business. For most of 2 years, they were acceptable. For the last month, they've been worthless. No customer service, either with voice or email; phones are, for all intents and purposes, dead. Customers have complained that we can't be reached. Lost business and only the daily posting on twitter that they're working to resolve problems.

I suspect that they're not long for the world; I'm trying to figure out how to get my numbers released so I can port to a more reliable carrier.

Stay away from this one!

have now been with them for two years…

have now been with them for two years and while they had their issues at the beginning, you simply cannot beat the price for the number of features you get. Ooma and Vonage are no comparison. The support gave me an attitude about using my own VOIP phone that they "do not support" but still gave me the necessary settings to allow my unit to be used with their system. You have to know what and how to use the control panel if you want a successful phone system. Plugging it in and walking away isn't the way to approach this service at all.

What’s best about VOIPO?
VOIPO’s service plans are cheaper with greater coverage and its services are designed on a very powerful internet platform. It provides unlimited calling to US/Canada and 60 minutes of international calling to select destinations each month. VOIP allows calls to Puerto Rico but charges are based on international rates.

It has live customer support that helps customers with their queries anytime through phone, email or chat. The usage limit is 5000 minutes a month which is perfectly sufficient for meeting a wide range of needs.

This is an awful VOIP telecommunication…

This is an awful VOIP telecommunication provider. Customer service is horrific at best and the communication service is spotty. There are many issues with this provider and they do no appear to know how to remedy the most essential shortfall. Caller ID is an issue, for example, with incomplete and inadequate listings. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OUTFIT!

I used VOIPo for more than 4 years, but don't recommend it.

I used VOIPo for more than 4 years. After I solved the static issue caused by FIOS with my filter, the service was acceptable. VOIPo was unable to solve it in those days.

here are providers with comparable or better service and lower prices, such as AxVoice.

At renewals, they refused to offer any alternatives to take-it-or-leave-it pricing.

The customer insults come when you cancel service. They demand the $5 adapter back or they will charge $49.95. After receiving the adapter with all identifying information, they want to know the UPS tracking number. Makes you wonder how many hundreds are received each day.

Voipo cancelled my service and no refund issued

Voipo cancelled my service in the 18th month when I disputed a double billing for an early renewal and had still not received a refund after waiting for it for over 2 months.
They refused to issue a final refund for 6 months of unused service. Their practices are unethical and would never again use them and advise no one to pay the $150 plus tax in advance. If there is a problem, you will never see your money again.

Bad service, bad product

buyer beware. Paid in advance..mistake number one. Two, you will receive used equipment which is pure junk. Instructions poorly written for set up, no diagrams or pictures, just two lines basically telling you what to unhook and hook up. Good luck there. Then it worked sporadically for two weeks. I call customer service, on my cell with them for over an hour troubleshooting. No apologies from CSR for MY troubles. Then they state they will esculate it to tier 2 team who will email me. So they act like they are doing me a favor after having no ohone service for a week and said they will send me out a new one as a complimentary courtesy. Really? You pay $149 for something that is used no service and they are sending me a complimentary one! Something wrong with this picture. Now, I have been down a week, but wait...it will take another week to get the replacement...two weeks then without service and I have only had their device for a month. I would recommend others to check out other services such as OOMA. This is a scam if you ask me. You pay in advance, no service ...you do all the work, they send out used junk, your down more than your up. They should expedite the replacement since they sent me used garbage. Pure junk. Wasted $149.

This has been one of the worst …

This has been one of the worst experiences of my phone life... I had VOIPO for a very short time.. in fact my phone number never transferred from Comcast. I cancelled the service and tried to get a refund .. but could not.
Two years later... I am billed for a renewal ..now this is the part that is crazy. The7y posted the bill on a credit card that they did not have access to... in other words, the credit card number did not exist when I initially ordered this service. i have escalated this to fraud status with Bank of America.
