Still no perk received 4 years after order - support always say that they don’t know when my perk will be shipped !
Scamers !

Purchased products in early 2018 and have yet to receive any items from this company. I question if I ever will.

I am also one of the victim that never receive my packet since 2018. I check on the Company and found that Volterman, Inc indicated on this website: crunchbasedotcom/organization/volterman-smart-wallet
show it only has one employee....His name is Azat Tovmasyan

I guess he is the only one that reply to everyone on the customer services.... He is also Kate, He is also Serena, He is every fake person that are not in existence....
This company is scamming people.... We should look how to take legal action against this company and his one employee who may be the culprit doing all the scam. Jennifer Kacey and everyone here please find anyway to take action against this Company. I am helpless because I am not in the States. If not I will engage a Lawyer to sue Volterman, Inc. for all the necessary claims.

Such a scam!! I've been waiting 3 years for a perk for my son. 3 years. Still nothing but snooty emails from a chick named Marta shaming contributors 2 or 3 times a year for having the audacity to ask where their money is being spent, since it's obviously not going into wallets, quality control, a functional app or any software to actually come up with something crazy like a shipping spreadsheet. So everytime she emails I give them a lot of sass. Here is the latest installment for you guys to enjoy.

Exactly. You're going to continue to take people's money and ship out perks to 1% of those backers to stay legal and send these emails twice a year to keep people on the hook.

Then by the info of most of your emails talking about quality issues, and fixing bugs that- what you are shipping out is faulty and won't work very long,  if at all. 

People are understanding for new companies with a worthwhile product to help work out the kinks. You've now been in business 3 years. There is no other business in the universe that doesn't have a clue on shipping and receiving in 3 years time. So telling me you have nooooo idea when perks will ship is preposterous.

This was a present for my son. He was beyond excited about it. And instead of him getting a reward for thinking outside the box and researching and waiting patiently and wanting to help someone else out. He got a huge dose of reality that there are horrible people in the world that will do anything for money. Lie, cheat and steal, with somehow a snooty air about your emails too which completely blows my mind. 

Sounds like you've been spouting your own stories for so many years you actually believe them. I truly have no words. 

Kudos to you guys and your pyramid scheme and shattering kid's dreams. You guys must be exhausted.

Ordered 2 and a half years ago and have no received anything. What an absolute scam this company is. DO NOT INVEST!!!!!!!

Again they send a mail to all there disappointed customers what they all do…. It’s just fraud and
this company a big bubble. Don’t buy this as you will never get anything. I wait since more than 3 years !!!

100% scam. Indiegogo is involved as they knew no products were being shipped to original "contributors" (aka victims).
I ordered in November 2017. It's November 2021. That's four years with no delivery whatsoever. Only empty lies about sending out a product which was $365USD.

Yet again, this company lets down ‘early bird’ customers.

They’ve been repeating the same meaningless trite on their Indiegogo page ‘updates’ for so long now, they have begun to believe their own rubbish.

Needing only $48k to begin production, how can it possibly be that with almost $3million taken, barely a soul has got the products they ordered.

Over and over again, backers are told “We are sorry for the delays” and “We speed up the process every day”. Well, after over FOUR YEARS it becomes totally insulting to claim that the process has been ‘sped up’ over 1500 times already, yet the tinyest of backers have been sent what turns out to basically be a waste of good leather, from what I can tell.

Also, “we have invested all the money in the production process” doesn’t really wash very well, because a single worker could probably have made a bigger dent in the order pile after this much time.

So come on Volterman, if you are, as you claim “transparent” and “not intending to deceive” then why is it so hard to release the figures of exactly how many of the 19,000+ customers have had their products AND are content that they do just as they were claimed they would.

I think the fact that not one solitary shipment progress has been published in FOUR YEARS tells everyone what it is you are so keen to hide, and that is you have frittered away all of the money and there’s no way in this lifetime you are going to be able to give people what they paid you their hard-earned money for.

Hang your heads in shame, you are the most egregious sham of a company I have ever known.

if i could summarize Volterman in one word i'd say

SCAM.

stay away, these guys are liars, Azat Tovmasyan is a liar and a scammer and I wish someone in Armenia would find the time to investigate his Volterman Scam and put this scammer on trial.

Volterman is a big fat lie, their wallets are not functional and most of their backers never received the product at all after 4 years. STAY AWAY FROM VOLTERMAN SCAM

OMG!!! THESE ARE HORRIBLE PEOPLE AND THE COMPANY IS A JOKE that STEALS you money. I bought a wallet and battery for my husband for fathers day last year. first it took at least a MONTH to get the order...then my hubby didnt like it because it was so thick to carry. i wrote to them Immediately and they said they had to Check and see if i was able to send it back for a refund.. about a Week later i was told yes, i could send it back but they wanted pictures of Everything out of the box, and then Everything packed back up.. they told me who to send it to... yep, the SAME snake that you all mention... then i had to send them all of the tracking and shipping information, which i did Multiple times. they told me they had to send it back to whoever does refunds which would take about 3-4 weeks. Fine, i waited. All of this started the end of April, so i was told on June 16th that i would have the refund back in my account. whats the date??????? right, nothing... i have spoken more to these three Girls?? at this company more than my own sister!!! MARTA, SERENA AND BELLA. which i am sure now are ALL FAKE... i need help!!

Hey guys in the same boat Bought this scam wallet nearly 5 years ago all their staff should also be accountable for all the rubbish they keep coping out with trying to convince the public its not a scam and they will get their perk and that they are a legit company, Azat Tovmasyan REMEMBER what goes around comes around KARMA , and you will pay the price for what you and your whole staff have done to the whole world, how you have been allowed to scam on this scale is beyond me and the whole people you have scammed do you really think anybody will ever buy from your SCAM COMPANY again, Indiegogo you should also be accountable for allowing companies to scam the whole world shame on you you will get yours too, KARMA. but then again you just collect your money and let anybody scammed what do you care. And why would the public want something that is nearly 5 years or older NOW surly its out of date and future and technology has moved on. Your product is old now. KARMA is waiting for all those participated in this project. Azat Tovmasyan.

This is a fraud company run by a fraud family. I lost 400 dollars and never received my product for the past 2 years plus

DO NOT buy this if you want to keep your money. If you just like throwing it away, you are better off to donate it to a charity. You will NOT receive anything from this company. I was an original back in 2017 and expected delivery was DEC 2017. Constant excuses as to why they can't deliver it. Updates used to be monthly, now its every 6 months at best. Total scam.

Don't waste your money, I already wasted mine. I've been waiting for 3 years for my product to arrive. I only get emails promising it'll arrive soon. These people are amazing con-artists. They got us all

I finally received my order in July 21, 2022 after over 4 years having placed my order (May 2018) in Indiegogo for their passport holder. I added one star since I actually received the product and it looks nice. I didn't add more stars because the smart functionalities offered do not work due to the lack of support for it in their Android app (updated back in August 2020). I now have a nice looking chunky "Bluetooth enabled" passport holder that is unable to be paired (and, therefore, to use the tracking capability) with my phone. The plus side is that it indeed arrived and it isn't ugly. Definitely not what I was expecting, but better than nothing. I will still use it as a passport holder because I don't have another one.

Beware of you are buying this product from India. Apart from mails exchange between you and customer care, you will not receive the product. They are as clueless as you are once your product is in hands of customs of India. They will ask you to follow up with customs. In India as you know, customs people will neither respond to calls nor mails. It's been more than 2 months since my package is held in customs and I am only receiving mails from customer care that they are trying to get details from their postal department.

Update: After sending someone directly to the customs office and paying as much as I had paid to place my order from volterman, Customs had agreed to deliver it (which was confiscated by them as this product is labelled as illegal in India). Finally the product is with us only to notice it is not doing its work as it is advertised. It is not at all getting charged to look into the features of it. Total waste of money

I was an original backer in late 2017 to early 2018. It’s now April 2021 and I still have not received this mythical product. I did email a few times throughout the years, only to receive a vague non answer like “we aren’t able to see when your order will ship, but you’ll receive an email confirming your info when it does. “
Same email a couple of years later. I get a kick out of the way they still send project updates with pictures of hundreds of wallets in boxes and little snips like “we ran into logistical problems but this batch is on the way!”
I’m amazed that these people haven’t been arrested considering how much money they’ve taken from their supporters.
