Their photography skills are top-notch. I decided to invest in a portfolio, and it has really paid off. Thanks to the high-quality images, I've already been approached by agencies. Vox Talent has been instrumental in launching my modelling career, and I can't thank them enough for the support.
Amazing experience!
A big thank you to the whole team at Angel branch!
I had my shoot about a week ago, and everybody was welcoming and helpful! Starting from charismatic Adriano at the reception, Anna has done exceptional hair and make-up, and of course, it couldn't all happen without super talented photographer Iggy!
Since my photo shoot, I have been successful in securing a place at the modelling agency, and it couldn't all happen without my amazing portfolio.
All terms and conditions were clearly outlined in the emails and in person. The whole experience was really enjoyable, from my first recruitment call to the final step.
Definitely recommend!
unsatisfactory
So I made an appointment with one of their employees,Amanda Moore, but due to personal reasons I had to cancel two weeks before the scheduled meeting in the studio, and since I read in the details she sent me that if I cancel more than a week before the session I will be returned the deposit I had to make to book it,but suspiciously she only answered one of my emails and said that she has to send me a cancelation form, which she never did,and after that, she did not get back to me in any way, after the third email I was informed her account was disabled, calling her on her phone number, there was no answer.I tried contacting Vox on their website two times but as for now nobody has responed to me. I have the right to have my money returned to me,and if it's not I shall investigate this further with any means necessary. Bad experience.
Scam
0 if I could..
I just wanted to try myself on something new since they offered to do photo session for free. But obviously they are SCAM.
After I did my photo session I waited about 2h for a feedback as I was kind of forced to do this step, obviously at that point all I wanted was my deposit.
I went to his office and first thing told the guy that I didn’t really enjoy this🙌the whole set make me feel like forced and I definitely didn’t enjoy that posing thing.
The guy who was trying to sell the package after a long speech started to be rude and arrogant as I declined to fall into his trap,he said I’m not eligible to get the deposit back because I was successful😞 only people who aren’t successful can get deposit back…rubbish ..I told him that this part isn’t on the booking details and I knew this before I decided to pay over the phone otherwise I wouldn’t never agreed..He started to talk over me ect and make me feel very uncomfortable. At the end he resigned and gave me refund paper to sign ,the next day I had my refund back thankfully but please do not trust these people👌

Worst experience
On starting my session with Vox, it was extremely hot and uncomfortable in the studio. I was told I couldn’t wear eyelashes or anything to enhance my photos. My make up was meh and the process of signing for the pictures was a nightmare. But what they don’t tell you is that you can’t change your mind after you leave the building so now I’m in a battle of fighting to have debt collectors off my back as they refused to answer the phone and give me information to get in touch. The first point of call, from London, will act like your best friend until it’s time to make a complaint. I was rushed through the signing process and not given time to read the Information. I was manipulated into signing for a particular package even though I told the guy I didn’t want to spend much and I wasn’t really liking the photos. He continued to be persistent and no assumed I could cancel within a certain amount of time but this was not made clear nor shown to me before signing. Now I have a patronising person contacting me telling me she will send debt collectors after me, denying my experience was exactly as described on the day, even though they couldn’t have been present. Do not go with these guys. 20 years in the business or not..I can tell from the reviews and other similar stories regarding not being able to contact anyone, that this is a usual tactic. Customer aftercare is a myth. I want this resolved quickly as I refuse to pay for something I wasn’t given full information about. They will accuse you of everything and take no accountability for the incompetence of their staff. They are money grabbers and will rush you through without explaining much. Keep your money.
They state they will refund your £50 but they do all they can to keep it.

unprofessional agency
This is such an unprofessional agency
1st of all no one answers the call.
You can call and check 020 3930 9939
this number keeps ringing and no response.
I paid £100 registration and I was told it’s refundable.
I was also given a package to select up to 6 photos for £299
Which I did, and I was supposed to collect the photos after a week
I could not go to them after a week as I was unwell but it’s been a month I have not received the ‘to check if I’m still interested in collecting the photos.
I spoke to this lady called Lucy, who spoke so high regarding the shoot
But no following up was done
I have a request for a refund today
Because definitely, I’m not working with a company which doesn’t even follow up. I wish I had read the reviews before I visited them.
No wonder they keep changing their office every now and then
I need a refund of £100 that I have paid by card

AVOID- UNPROFESSIONAL… A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
Upon arrival to the shoot in Angel. I arrived 15 minutes early to my 2:30pm slot. I was greeted, signed the forms and then told to wait on the sofa with many other people, waiting for my name to be called. 90 minutes went by before anything happened. I asked the lady a couple of times during that waiting period, ‘what the delays were?’ and all I was just told that they were running behind and to be patient and that several people had been waiting longer and were going to be seen before me.
Having travelled across London with all of the outfits requested, I basically sat on a sofa on my phone for ages waiting to be told anything. At around 4pm (hour and half after my booked time) the make up lady then took me to very briefly do my make up, she barely did anything (which is fine, as I wasn’t fussed about having too much make up, so that’s not a big deal). I just had the sense that it was the end of the day and no one was engaged or really wanted to be there. I was then sitting waiting for the photographer. He was busy with another model, and whist she was literally getting changed into a different outfit, he popped his head out and said to me… ‘quick let’s do your headshots’ he rushed through that and two minutes later, I was back sitting back down on the sofa, waiting.
I felt very rushed, I was not made to feel comfortable in order to get the best out of the photos and thus, the photos did not turn out well at all. I was not at all impressed and I could just tell the photos weren’t going to be good.
Eventually, over 2 hours later, I was finally called to have the photo shoot and it lasted about 20 minutes, at most. I bought many different outfits and probably only put on about two or three, very quickly rushed into getting changed, I felt like it was a mess. It felt as though it was the end of the day and people didn’t want to be there and were just kind of going through the motions. The shoot ended abruptly and I was told to wait on the sofa… again. After another 30 minutes of waiting to see my photos, I finally went in. I honestly laughed at some of the edits, the photos I took at home came out better than these. I was then very quickly quoted the prices of your packages (which were completely different to the information I got on the phone) and was almost forced into buying the photos as without paying, you don’t get to see a single image, ridiculous! I find it strange that I wasn’t able to at least see all of the photos taken of me, to have an idea of how they came out. I was shown some edits, the lady chose a few photos and put them on a USB stick. It was a lot of money for over 4 hours of waiting, with a 20 minute shoot that didn’t at all represent my look well. I’m not criticising your colleagues, they were nice and all, but the whole thing just felt very unprofessional.
I spoke on the phone to my ‘consultant’ several times and I was excited for the shoot. The consultant seemed like a stand-up guy, honest, and trying to help a new model in the industry… but the experience that I had, for the cost, really wasn’t what I was hoping for.
After calling my consultant to express my concerns and disappointment surrounding the experience, I was left with “we’ll get our people up top to contact you”… never heard from anyone. It has now been a month without hearing anything and as I stated on my most recent email to them, if I didn’t hear anything, I would be posting a review. So here we are! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! No aspiring model should have to experience this.
Review on my initial invite in. Visit today and pending...
I received a call from Lewis Green. Great communication skills and we spoke for about 1 hour lol. Lewis was very clear about the process as I was very apprehensive.
Lewis spent the time to build a rapour with me therefor trust was built. I look very forward to my session in the morning.
I have chosen to ignore the bad reviews as there are good and bad, I also know what my worse case senario looks like. I noticed that those who trusted the process recieved the outcome they were seeking and the ones who did not trust the process were then let down.
Everything is a risk! Hense the deposit. Stay tuned as I will update my review in detail once attended.
Exciiiteeeeeeed much haha

I took my daughter to their studio in London a few weeks ago. The experience was so lovely. They really made her feel comfortable and the pictures were excellent. I delayed writing a review as I was waiting for if we would be connected to agencies. After about a week we were contacted by many agencies. We have visited and signed for 1 and are looking to sign with 2 more.

ABSOLUTE SCAM!! MONEY GRABBERS WHO ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. THEY WILL MAKE A PORTFOLIO THEN DEMAND THAT YOU BUY IT
I got a call from a woman who said that my Granddaughter had been shortlisted for commercial work. She went on to say that they wanted her in for a photoshoot at the weekend and that they cover the costs of it. She quickly followed up by asking for a "fully refundable £50 deposit". This was apparently to ensure that they werent fully out of pocket should we not show. I heard alarm bells at this and told her that I would call her back. I did a little research and found so many bad and alarming reviews. My partner called her back with very direct questions such as "will you do the photoshoot then demand we pay £1500 for the photos?" And "will you take the pictures then demand that we pay £249 or we will not get our deposits back?". She was very very evasive and refused to answer all questions except for saying "you can't get a free portfolio" and "will I just cancel her application". He repeated a story that he had read and asked "will you attempt to lock us in an office until we pay £1500?" Her reponse was not no of course we wont it was simply "will I jusf delete her application," AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. They are only interested in taking your hard earned money. Your kids will be left devastated after thinking that their dreams of becoming a model have come true and you will be left with an empty bank account. Dont even bother applying to them

This felt like a scam
This felt like a scam. Day light robbery of people’s hard earned money. Firstly I was told by their sales agent that if I paid a deposit of £50 i will get my money back if I attend the session. I attended the session then I am told I have to pay £249 or else I loose my deposit. The guy who was trying to sell me a package of £1500.was rude, and arrogant and very unprofessional and condescending. When I declined to fall into the trap he couldn’t even show me the way out of their office. Very rude man. Verbally abusing me and insulting my integrity and intelligence. Completely declined with my £50 that I was promised. This is a serious crime.they need to be reported to a reporter or crime watch to protect the public .
I am sure this needs to be reported to the right agencies to investigate such Crooks. It’s unbelievable and un acceptable that they will lure people into believing that they will help meanwhile they just want capital to do their studio.

Not rating. Just wanting advice
Hello.
Just wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I've read most of these reviews and I'm not fully convinced if this company is real or not?
I understand why they ask for a £50 refundable deposit. I'm just not sure what I get out of it. Is it a agency that promotes your work or do they just build a portfolio up for you? I'm not wanting to do it full time, just some extra cash.
If anyone could reach out to me about this matter I would really appreciate it.

Not very good and rather arrogant.
I saw the add and applied. then i got an text and an email saying it i set up an appointment i need to pay £50 up front. Sorry but i dont see why i should. after looking at the reviews they need me more that i need them. And then john told me that's life you pay deposits all the time. is if this is a deposit does that mean i and going to have to pay MORE money out in the future. NO. Stay Away from Vox.
Edit :
Vox have asked for more information about this so here is the email that was sent to me by an employee at Vox
Good afternoon Karen you heard of a deposit which is standard practice in pretty much anything you do these days
want to go on holiday/deposit is put down/get a car on finance deposit is required/tattoo,private dentist anything you do but if you do not agree that is fare enough
honestly there is no pressure at all you submitted the application this is just how we do things
If these are the type of responses they send, no wonder they are getting lots of bad reviews.
2nd Edit
Thank you for your reply, if the issue had been explained in this manner first time round we would not have been in this situation now. However, i will not be continuing with my application with Vox at this time.

Honest review
We visited TS Studios yesterday, I registered my interest via Facebook and then a few hours later got an email to sign up online with a photo which I did. Next day Ed called me, he was very chatty and friendly, he advised I’d been successful and wanted to book a date with me to go have a photo shoot in London. There’s a £50 deposit which on email says fully refundable ITS NOT, I’ll explain at bottom.
The day:
Outfits - they tell you 5/6 outfits, summer/winter/formal
But what they ask first when you get there is sportswear !
Turned up to the studio, the door is off the Main Street, as you walk in, it’s a large room with a couple of sofas and chairs by the window, no real reception area, you pick up a clipboard and write down your details and the staff come and let you know when you need to go have your hair and make up done, this is at the bottom of the room up some stairs that look over the bottom part. The makeup artist, photographers and admin staff are wonderful, I had my daughter with me and we loved the energy from her, the make up and hair she did looked great.
The photoshoots we’re done inside and some outside on the main stretch of the road, for myself who has never done it before, I felt awkward and didn’t know what to do really, you don’t get to much direction on what to do with your face, I just assumed I was doing ok.
After all the outfits are done and photos taken you just need to wait to chat to the sales manager I think that’s what he is, and this is the bit that ruined the day, he said I’m successful in my application and that we can start building my application portfolio, then when my photos came up I didn’t like any of them, I looked about 4stone heavier, the angles were horrible, some looked like I had no neck, I then said if I change my mind now, as I don’t want those photos used as a portfolio can I just get my deposit back and go, he said because of the expense of the day and that I was successful it’s not refundable, now I do think £50 for all that is well worth it and I’d have still paid that, however that’s not explained, we found this guy rude, arrogant and pushy, he didn’t like I didn’t want to do a £299 portfolio and kept cutting me and my daughter off In conversation and was sarcastic at times, just be firm, if you don’t want to go ahead you can say no, but be prepared to not get deposit back, the email clearly says in red it’s refundable but apparently that’s if you’re not successful but really, is anyone actually unsuccessful??
Vox Talent is Hashtag Models
I was contacted by Vox Talent for a photo shoot so I thought of going through the reviews - one review here mentions that Vox Talent website is similar to Hashtag models. Guess what- I found a link on Vox Talent site which took me to hashtag website. This cannot be a coincident - so clearly, Vox Talent is hashtag. Well, I cannot say if it is a scam but Vox Talent denying any relation to hashtag in response to one comment here surely raises a doubt.
