I have an accident policy with Voya. I recently had to file a claim for an accident. They were extremely slow. I had to call them every other day to find out what document they were not able to receive. I had to send some documents to them three times. I finally received a letter stating that they were in need of further document a week after talking to them on the phone at least twice. If you are filing a claim you will need to constently contact them. The website is not updated and it has been 5 days from the date on the website that states when the claim would be completed. I still have not received a money after 3 weeks from submitting the claim. If I could give them a 0 I would.

Voya has requested that I prove a loan payment Vanguard didnt transfer during a company mandated switch to Voya. Vanguard will not give a confirmation # of call confirming it was made. I personally am having to go to my bank print, get notarized, then drive to Office Depot to fax at my expense all paperwork. Voya only accepts Faxes, no emails. This is my 4th trip $40 worth of faxes conducting business with Voya!
Voyas customer service said they did a check up and this is my homework.

Absolutely horrible service. After registering for health benefits with my employer, I never received any communication from VOYA regarding my FSA. I reached out to them over the phone to resolve this, verified my identity over the phone, and was told that they would need to have tech support give me a callback to register my email. I never received a callback. I called again several days later and they said they could register my email, but it would take 24 hours to take effect. Another week later, I still couldn't log in. I've continued to reach out to them and received the same response every time. I've probably spent a total of 8 hours on the phone with them and still can't even log into my account.

I was due to receive my check on or before August 30,2023 according to the website and when I call the automated system …today is September 1,2023 and I have not received my check. My experience with customer service has been very negative. I received a call from someone only to be gaslighted that I had other options to receive my check. Condescending tone during our conversation with the lack of empathy or compassion. This is by far my worst experience. I was told the website is an estimate which is ridiculous.

Do not get retirement plan with this company I tried to withdraw my money They did not want to give it to me I provided them with my address they say my ZIP Code was wrong after I had already spoken to several representatives then they requested a letter with the correct ZIP Code this company is trash!

Their web site really is not good. Often I am not able to log in because it does not send a security code. There have been other issues as well. Fidelity, vanguard and others I use are great and reliable. Not voya.

They will claim to send you your termination check and never send it. Then never resend it. They make you wait months for your own personal money. They are thieves and crooks!!!! I hate them!

I bought a million dollar policy thru select quote.I have been trying to select my beneficiaries for over a month but the customer service for the insurance company is located overseas and totally incompetent and their website has been broken for the entire time (Voya company thru Relistar). Select quote tells me they can’t help because they no longer work with that company. I am stuck with a life insurance without beneficiary which will force my heirs to go thru probate after my death.

Contacted Voya in February to withdraw funds from 401K. Told I had to wait until after March first for a market change. Contacted them again on March 5th, told it was sent by UPS and would have it by the next day. I asked for the package number to track, and called UPS, they lost the pkg. Contacted Voya asking to wire transfer to my acct, said they could NOT, asked to overnight and I would pay for it, told was not allowed. Still waiting for MY MONEY!

Voya is notorious for delaying your retirement withdrawals. They will give multiple excuses but never resolve the issues. You have to be extra patient to get your own money. Amazingly bad.

Never again will I participate in a 401k if this company is the host. This is my money and I'm having the most difficult time getting it out now. I'm the customer here people!

Bad service I request for my money to be sent express so I called them said it will be here Tuesday than I called out of nowhere they said we sent the money today you get it nexts week like what about my express so they said we just refund you it will go like regular mail .So am heated I ain’t never dealt with this so imma do whatever it take to get bbu to sign them off there contract wait to I go back to work.

This company provides extremely sparse day to day information, so you can't track how much money you're losing. Their website is more like a Playskool site, with huge fonts and no daily information, only average rate of return. Try to glean more and you hit dead ends. I really believe this is intentional. Just keeping consumers clueless.

My job previously had a different 401k investment company and it was great. Now I have Voya and they literally will not let me touch my account unless I am already foreclosing on my house! Other companies will let you withdraw with a penalty fee prior to getting a letter of foreclosure as I have multiple family members and friends who have done so with no trouble what so ever. By far the worst company I've even had to deal with.

I have less than $400 in my account and so decided to just take it all out. Yes, I actually NEED that small sum now. It's been SO HARD to get it. I had to wait for this obscure pin to be mailed to me, then fill out the paperwork and mail it, and now, two weeks later, they send through snail mail a claim that the date was cut off by my signature and that I need to REFILE ALL THE PAPERWORK!!! It's one barrier after the other. I'm disgusted.

I have been trying to get access to my retirement account, and the company is not able to help me. I called five times, and every time I get different instructions, and pass down from one person to another, and nobody is able to help me. The only thing they tell me is "we cannot get access to your account," and then pass me down to another department. This has been going on for two months.
The company has my name, my social security number, and my former employer information - yet, they cannot get me an access to my account. I am at a loss of what to do.

Total scam!! Do not buy into this scam at any cost. My company has 55,000 + employees. During the pandemic, when everyone needs them most, they refuse to pay out on claims. We are dropping them like a hot potato with a grenade inside. Class action lawsuit against Voya, coming soon!!

There's no reason whatsoever to use Voya. Their funds always perform worse than the market. If you just dump your money in an ordinary, unmanaged S&P 500 fund, you'll do much better.

Voya also charges hefty fees if you want to take your money out.

Voya Financial STOLE our money at a time we are at our lowest! Covid cost my husband his job, it took us forever to figure out how to get our money from them and once we finally contacted them we got nothing but run around and run around and "someone will call you back by the end of the day" day after day for weeks for months and to this day they still have our money and it's been 7 months since my husband lost his job with the company that held the 401k with Voya, but they say it's on Voya and Voya says it's on them but I say it's a scam and don't trust your money to Voya Financial because you may never see it again! Our money is gone and at a time we desperately need it! Heed my warning! DO NOT TRUST VOYA FINANCIAL!!!!
