Run for your life, like literally start running away from Vroom now!

Six months! Yes, six months to get my car titled and registered! They lost the title and could not get me temp tags any longer. I literally put a cover over the car and put it away. After endless calls and emails, no real results. I finally got the title and had to register it myself since the state inspection expired. Worst experience ever! Worst car dealership ever!

Things you can do to try to move it forward: Contact Vroom customer service via phone and email. Contact the TX Attorney General and fill out a complaint. Contact the TX MVA and file a complaint. Contact your finance company and stop payments.

Con artists buyer beware!!!

Con artists buyer beware!!!! They will run with your $249 deposit. They claimed I was approved for a car and then they demanded I trade something in after approving me and taking my $249 non refundable deposit without a trade in on the deal. They are scam artists!

Vroom customer service so far has been poor

Vroom customer service so far has been the worse despite the reviews I still tried to give them a chance ! They are unorganized and keep asking for paperwork that was already submitted . I have called and ask for a supervisor to call me back four times with no call back . Tried reaching out to the person who sold me the plan they could not be found nor returned calls or messages also they specified that I needed to upload my insurance information to finalize deal I did that and still can’t get a delivery date . This has been a two week process that’s being dragged on longer then it should will be canceling contract and asking for refund

The worst company to do business with

The worst company to do business with. It was a horrendous experience from the start and I should have stopped when I was having issues during the sale. The bank I financed through no longer even works with Vroom because of how awful they are. Getting all the financing was such was a nightmare. When the car finally arrived (late), it was completely dirty. Then, I had my temporary plates for over 100 days! I couldn't drive the car since the plates were expired. I called Vroom almost everyday for months and they basically kept telling me it was the DMV's fault. I finally called the DMV and they said absolutely not, that Vroom has access to create new temp tags but don't want to do it because it cost $30 each time. I ended up going to the DMV myself to get temp tags so I could drive the car. I finally received my plates and thought I was done with them... little did I know...They put the lien on the title for the WRONG BANK!!!!! So our bank was threating to raise our rate as the loan was now uncollateralized. They called Vroom, as did I and they never fixed it. I eventually ended up just calling the institution that they sent too and we had to sort it all our ourselves. And lastly, the most annoying of all.... since receiving the car, I have one problem after another - 2 tires have had to be replaced, the day time running lights went out on one side, a sensor had to be replaced and now the air conditioning seems to be having issues. DO NOT USE THEM. In concept this is a great idea but Vroom cannot execute.

l purchased a 2012 Acrua TSX from Vroom…

l purchased a 2012 Acrua TSX from Vroom on April 12, 2022. I received the vehicle and it only had a quart of Oil in the vehicle, which means it bas not been serviced, it was 3 quarts short of Oil and we dont know how long it was driven like that before delivering to me. It also so had major paint damage that was touch up vary badly and the car is
Black so I didnt see the damage until I washed the vehicle and noticed the damage. I also have NOT received any Title or Registration work since purchased, it has now been over 90 days since l had this vehicle with No Tags or Registration to drive this vehicle and I have made 2 payment on the Loan and can,t even drive the car. The Tags was due June 14, 2022 and it is now July 28, 2022, I have been calling to return this vehicle since June 13, 2022 for No Title or Registration work being done. I got screwed around and push out until they got Title work done when early stated that l wish to return the vehicle. l went to the tag office on July 25, 2022 and the tag office stated that here was not enough funds to complete the transaction so the tags could not and still has not been processed. I called
Vroom back and spoke with Sean Evans and let him know that this is not right and to refund me my money and pick up your vehicle asap, and he refused to set the business straight and continued to ly to me for weeks. Got pre-approved for a loan and was ready to buy. Upon further inspection of the vehicle's mileage, the mileage on Vroom's website was less than what was reported on Carfax. Initially, I chalked it up to possibly a human error, but when I looked at a second car to purchase, it was the same thing. The mileage Vroom was showing in the picture of the vehicle and what was listed on Carfax were significantly apart. Vroom stated the vehicle had 92k and Carfax indicated 114K. Still waiting for an explanation from someone at Vroom. Stay far away from this company. They seem shady.

Stay Away!

Stay Away! Bought my vehicle on February 9th 2022, and wasn't sent documents for title and registration until June 6th, having to pay monthly fees of $775 plus $223 in insurance for a car that couldn't be driven.

The customer service Vroom provides is atrocious. There is no accountability, initiative, or proactiveness for their customers paying tens of thousands of dollars. Once you call the 'National Hotline', you're put in a priority queue, the next time you call it's the same circus, with different clowns.

The time, energy, and money I've spent with Vroom over the last six months need to be compensated.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM i don’t care how good the price is it’s not worth going through this horrible company.
I bought my car in December and it’s currently July and I don’t have permanent plates nor title and registration. I have got the runaround from customer service who I had to hassle to get new temp tags every month. Now I have exceeded the amount of temp tags I can have according to the dmv and cannot drive my car. They offered me a rental then ghosted me when I tried to get details on it. My inspection expired over the last 8 months so they had me do it again myself and never paid me back! Too many issues, you’ll regret buying from them.

Working with vroom has been the WORST…

Working with vroom has been the WORST experience of my whole entire life. I purchase my vehicle back in April and I still haven't received my licensed plate. After explaining this to a Vroom rep, I was told that I would be receiving another plate in replacement of the one that I should've received and somehow they lost it and said it was already delivered. I was promised on that day to expect my license plate within the next 1-2 business days, when I called back within that timeframe I was told a completely different story AGAIN! This time I' being told that the title specialist says the only way for me to get another tag is for me to go to the DMV and get another one! I've wasted so much time that I could be working and making a living dealing with this crappy company. From the rental car that I never got due to them not delivering my tag in the first place, I got a citation because of them! This whole experience has been hell and I would never recommend such a company to anyone. I've definitely learned my lesson in purchasing vehicle online and will never do it again, thanks to VRoom. So much time and money has been wasted and I'm so frustrated!!!

Avoid at all costs!

I wish I could give this company less than 1 star. It’s absolutely disgusting how they treat people and how they are able to stay in business. My elderly parents bought a car and haven’t been able to drive it since March when they received it. Vroom hasn’t sent a simple out of state tax form! I am

And still NO truck and NO return calls for 6 days now.
NOT ONE PERSON AT Vroom, NOT ONE, HAS OR IS GOING TOO STEP UP AND MAKE THIS RIGHT BY SIMPLY HONORING THE 3/4 SIGNED CONTRACT AND DO THE RIGHT THING. But, it appears that Nobody within your organization even has heard of the moral high road! And Certainly, never done the right thing!

Vroom is a SCAM. Pls read my review before buying from them

If you buy from Vroom what you are getting is a mechanically faulty car, loss of money, fear in mind. Their 90 day extended warrenty is a joke and scam.
I was on a vacation with my family and suddenly temp gauge of car started spiking to red and loud noise started coming from engine bay. I took it to Firestone (luckily it happened in front of it). They diagnosed that the radiator fans both are gone. I tried calling Vroom customer care but was not able to connect as it was a public holiday.
I got the car repaired and it costed me $1K. Next day I send mail to Vroom customer support with invoice and diag details as I was sold the car promising 90 days extended warranty; now the drama starts.

Vrrom customer support told it is not vroom that covers this but 'SafeGuard' and gave me another customer care number!!. Ok fine, I called 'safegauard' and raised a case. After sitting on my ticket for 3 weeks they closed that saying this is an EXISTING ISSUE of my car and cannot be covered!! Does that mean that Vroom sold me a car with mechanical issue that they are already aware?? If this is the case then all mechanical problems can be said as 'already existing issues'.
Now I dont know what all these kindof 'Existing Mechanical Issue' my car got!! When you are out of the state with two kids including an infant will you fix the car and get going thinking that the cost will be covered as per their extended warranty? They should cover genuine customers rather than trying to scam and milk money out of them. Othewise one day people will realize their tricks and keep away from them.

I trusted Vroom and thought I was getting a good deal, but this is what they gave me in return.
Please be very careful doing business with them. God bless them.

I think I would purchase from them again

I had a pretty decent experience with Vroom. I got super lucky and found a well specced car, the communication was okay.. But had an issue with getting a refund of overpayment back for a couple of months. Eventually it was resolved and it was no big deal. I think I would purchase from them again. Buying a car from your phone and getting it delivered in your driveway is pretty awesome !

Car is great. Zoom sucks.

Paperwork did not come for the car for well over a month - after countless calls and emails. Paperwork arrived incomplete and unusable for taking title and registration. More calls and emails to get proper paperwork. Process took THREE months. Unacceptable!
