I flew with Vueling on 29 December 2018…

I flew with Vueling on 29 December 2018 from Brussels to Barcelona. I had nothing to complain about for the online check in and it booked me in a window seat without me having to pay for choosing a seat. I guess I got lucky. I brought my carrier back pack on board as a carry-on, It weighs about 8kg and slide perfectly in perfectly to the width of the overhead compartment. The boarding is fine and smooth. The flight was basic and I can charge my phone from under my seat. Seat space feels normal for a 176 cm guy like me. Overall, I experience no friction whatsoever flying first time with Vueling. I do not mind flying with them again.

People complain about Ryanair / Easy…

People complain about Ryanair / Easy Jet and other so called budget airlines but these Spanish based clowns put POOR SERVICE into a whole new dimension.
I have a long story which I won't go into but after numerous calls, e-mails, letters sent - (All totally Ignored) I am still around 1450 Euro's out of pocket with no flights to show for it!.

I would very strongly try to find alternative routes / times especially out of Alicante and return............... You've been warned and I will continue at every opportunity on every available web site to name and shame this excuse for a commercial airline.

I am a frequent flyer and unhappy with…

I am a frequent flyer and unhappy with Vueling. Used Vueling few times and, despite not having a great service, I thought they were alright actually. However, this summer I used them 4 times and my family is today stuck in an airport because they overbooked their plane. I had a 2 hours delay on one of the trips and a total of 7 hours on another one (all July 2018). I am sick and tired to being let down by them, I WILL NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN. People pay a lot of money for their flights but not only, they also have the rest of their lives planned around (taking days off work, time, money on getting to the airport, hotels...) to then have this ridiculous service. It's unacceptable that they still do these things with their customers. Never again.

Nightmare return flight Amsterdam to Rome

Amsterdam to Rome. When arriving to Schiphol Airport in order to board there was no information of any problem related to our flight but there was no boarding gate in the info screans. We were standing on a line where Vueling was checking people in for other flights and minutes later the crew at the desk told us that our flight had been cancelled. After another hour waiting in another line, we got to know that our flight had been cancelled due to 'operational reasons' and they also told us we had to arrange ourselves a hostal because they had run out of options. Luckily we live nearby so that was not a problem for us. Long nightmare-story short, We flew next evening with them, in a half-hour delayed flight and once in the airplane we where told we had to wait 45 more minutes to take off. In our way back, our Vueling flight simply changed its departure time for half an hour later in the info displayers, they took almost 2 hours for taking off, it was lunch time and we didn't get anything (not even water for free) and they took almost 45 minutes to open the gates. The worst part of all was that there was almost no communication between the Vueling crew and the passengers in the airplane. Worst experience ever!

Bad service

Bad service, lost baggage, poor costomer service, hung up on myself and others, gave us the run around, cussed at me when I asked for a supervisor. Do yourself a favor never fly with this airline.

Booked via Expedia flight+hotel

Booked via Expedia flight+hotel. Never again will use this airline. Checked in 2.5 hours before my flight. With boarding passes in my hand at the gates 20min before my flight have been told by very rude staff that they overbooked this plane by 40 people and that me and my husband have to go and pay for another flight if we want to get back to the UK. No flights were available with this airlane until next day and no guarantee we will be getting a place so we have booked with different provider. However my checked in laugage disappeared and no-one could tell me where it is. After 4 hours of running around the airport and calling Vueling I found out it landed in Gatwick!This provider is disaster. When you call CS they can't do anything over the phone. At the airport same situation except that the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful! Whole day stuck at the airport without personal stuff praying to be able to get back to UK. Never again!

I flew back from Paris with Vueling…

I flew back from Paris with Vueling yesterday and was very impressed. Brand new plane, beautiful interior and the staff on board were so kind, the air stewardess helped my daughter who was crying and anxious and brought her a chocolate bar!! Wonderful touch!

They cancelled our flight on Oct 11

They cancelled our flight on Oct 11, 2017 from Santiago in Spain last minute without giving reasons, re-booking or providing updates. Nor did they offer any alternative ways to reach our destination (Lyon, France). We ended up traveling by train. Upon my request to get reimbursed for the plane ticket they flatly stated that the cancellation was not their fault, they had no responsibility and will not reimburse me. Still not giving any reason for the cancellation.
