Installation experience

The electrician arrived at the time specified and carried out the work quickly (about 90 minutes) and, as far as I can tell, efficiently.
He put the charger exactly where I had asked him to and created very little mess. He also gave a good explanation about how it and the App. worked and told me I could text him if I had any problems.
As I have yet to take delivery of an EV I can only assume that everything will work when I do!

EV Charger installation

Josh who came to install EV Charger was brilliant, down to earth easy to talk to. Explained how to use it & what to do next.
Also i only done survey part over weekend & got call on monday morning to say they will be fitting the next day excellent service all round.
Would definitely recommend waEV Charge to anyone thinking of getting EV Charger installed & price very reasonable 5 star rating from me.

Communication Nightmare - Resolved

Ordered my charger through the website, took a week to arrive which was fair enough, was asked to provide my own survey of the property.
upon the installation date was told I needed further electrical work done on the property for them to install. easy enough, got that sorted.
After that I made 4 separate attempts to contact them to discuss installation dates, the first time by phone call I was told "were very busy, well get round to you when we can", the second phone call I was told I would be contacted by the installation team to organise a date. 2 further emails and a grand total of 3 and a half weeks after first contact to re-organise installation and I have still had no contact from waEV, a total of 3 months from first order is not acceptable service. I have spoken to a private installer and will be going through them.

I cannot comment on the product, however the service and communication is the worst I have ever received, I would encourage everyone to avoid dealing with this company like the plague.

I have had a satisfactory resolution to this problem, I received a call from Elliot following my review and was informed of internal communication issued due to technical difficulties. I have also received remuneration for the inconveniences caused by the delays.

I would like to thank Elliot for his assistance in getting a swift resolution to the issue and for his encouragement in requesting further assistance with the use of the product if it is needed.

I will be keeping the review as 1 star for clarity purposes however would like to retract my statement of discouragement from using the company. However I would encourage future customer to be more active in chasing the company if they are having similar issues, especially if they are mainly communicating through a subsidiary.

Thank you for your review and we offer sincere apologies for delays you incurred as well as taking your own time to chase an update.

Your original installation was booked quickly, and the engineers arrived to be unable to sign off or complete works due to no bonding. This then was about 3-4 weeks where you had informed us in the backend of Feb that the works were then completed to which as discussed directly, this was due to an internal system issue where when you had spoken to our teams with the update that your bonding works you were doing directly through your own electrician were completed. Our colleague was noting the system with the updates internally which should have then updated the installation team automatically but errored, meaning the installation team were not getting the notification about the update and the customer service executive none the wiser as was just expecting it to work as normal.

We appreciate the updated review post Elliot providing a solution that worked for you, and you are still having the waEV-charge unit installed. Once again, we apologise that this was the experience initially as we pride ourselves on level of service received in addition to a great reliable EV charger.

From first phone call to completion five days , unbelievable , fantastic service fitter was very informative, phoned to change charger day before fitting nothing was a problem over the moon with the level of service , would recommend to everyone . Five star service

Excellent service

Excellent service!

Everything was done online and a fairly straightforward process. Submitted all my details online and installation was booked within 7 days. The engineer done a fantastic job and I am very pleased.

Highly recommend WaEV-Charge, very good service.

The guy came to fix the ev charger

The guy came to fix the ev charger. He was very friendly and helpful. He did a good job a was very quick. The ev charger is brilliant and charges my car at a much cheaper price.

Quick easy install.

Quick easy install.
The installer turned up on time, was complete within the hour.
The whole process was excellent, from when I choose my charger, communication to when the install would take place and the actual install, all done within 5 days ready for my delivery of my EV car

Excellent service from start to finish kept up to date through the whole process would totally recommend also helped they managed to get a government grant that then reduced my total bill for me thanks again guys great work

Excellent after sales ser

Although initially had difficulty. Charger was installed before we got the car. Our fault. The help we got to overcome the problem was very good. All is OK and working well. Thanks for quickly helping us.

Excellent aftersales service

So i researched the company prior to purchasing the EV charger as I read some horror stories on the other companies EV chargers and where the problem lies is very poor aftersales service but reading the reviews for the Wave Charger all i could see was positive reviews. I have now had two issues with the unit which were to do with my set up not the unit itself and I have to say that the aftersales service is excellent and responsive. It was same day quick and solved my issues. Would definitely recommend the unit and also the back up service is fantastic. Its no use buying a EV charger if the aftersales is no good when you need to get your car charged.
