the WSO app is an excellent way to learn about the finance industry and network with fellow professionals

Great site to learn more about the various careers of finance. Highly recommend to any prospective student. Helped me land my full-time job at a top BB bank!

Great content and great site but too much spam and low quality posts. Political topics and cringey users becoming "icons" on the site for their persistent, usually obnoxious, behaviour devalues the site as a serious professional resource. WSO would massively benefit from some revamped community guidelines and some higher quality moderation.

When I was studying finance in university, I turned to WSO to learn more about the financial services industry and career opportunities. I work as an associate in a commercial banking group and am happy where I am and all that I've learned through the wealth of information and resources found on the Wall Street Oasis website and forum discussions. There are some experienced senior users who provide tremendous insight to users with their wide array of questions about the industry. The app is okay, but can crash/automatically log you out sometimes. I browse the forums on a day-by-day basis for new content.

WSO is a great platform to connect students and people in the industry. During my time I connected and met with multiple people that helped me along my journey and I’m now an ex banker and in private equity, so WSO has gotten my dream careers twice!

Site has useful information but a lot of immature, toxic members as well.

Overall good app but UI for the iPad can be enhanced. Having issues switching over to night mode some times.

Great functions in the iOS app. Very helpful in my own recruiting process for searching/following tips and comp info.

I like the community. When I had a question back in high school about financial careers, the replies were very helpful. A few of the threads that I looked at helped me get a good impression of the field. I'm not as active anymore since my career focus is on technical skills at the moment.

Really useful information for recruiting and interviewing in the investment banking industry. It also good website to gain insight about various banks and teams so you know which ones to target.

The only downside is something outside of the website's control but there is some misinformation out there. Find the good content and it's all good but this this isn't neccesarily the easiest to find.
