We chose A &A Walters for my Dad's funeral and Andy and his team were amazing. Right from the start he was so caring and professional. Nothing was too much trouble they made something extremely emotional extremely positive and much easier than we expected. Everything Andy recommended was just what you would wish for for your loved one - the celebrant Debbie was superb as were the flowers. Words cannot express how grateful we are you have only one opportunity to do this and they did Dad proud. We would highly recommend this local firm to anyone many thanks

We used Walters when my mom died nearly 4 years, so had no hesitation in contacting the Sedgley office when dad died in July. Andy was so reassuring and I had every confidence that he and the rest of the team would sort everything out - they did, and advised exactly what I needed to do and when. Whenever i popped in, Andy knew exactly who I was. On the day of the funeral, everything was taken care of, with care and dignity but no intrusive fuss. I felt looked after by the whole team from my first contact to being dropped off after the funeral, and thereby confident dad was being looked after too.

The professionalism and attention to detail from everyone at Walters throughout all our dealings with them post the death of our Little Sis, Wanda, was brilliant. It was apparent from very early on that the company, and specifically Steven, knew what we wanted, understood the person our sister was and delivered aligned to this. The small touches that they included such as changing their Neck Ties, sourcing colours and adornments and always being contactable was above our expectations. This was dues to the attentive nature and understanding of Steven. His colleagues Anthony and Dave were so respectful and tender in dealing with our Little Sis from the moment they picked her up right through to the funeral. Thanks to all at Walters from Teresa, Nick and Alison.

Professional services, nothing too much trouble, got everything we had asked for spot on

We used walters 10 years ago when my mom passed away. Unfortunately my dad passed away in July 2024 so we used walters again. Well what can I say besides they were great from start to end, they were very supportive and nothing was to much trouble. As a family going through a difficult time I would highly recommend walters. We recently used Walters for my uncle's funeral, who sadly passed away in June. Walters supported us throughout the entire process, with Karen being particularly compassionate and professional. On the day of the funeral, Jeremy took charge, and everything went as smoothly as possible. He and his team were highly professional. We are grateful to them for providing such excellent service during a difficult time.

From the moment we called A&A Walters at Tipton to take care of our mom, Doris after she had died to being there to help us through the day of mom funeral, the kindness and professionalism everyone at A &A Walter showed us was so appreciated by our family and we are so grateful for the team in helping us give a beautiful, sensitive and very dignified funeral tribute to our beloved mom. Steven was excellent in guiding us through what arrangements had to be made and showing us so much care, he truly understood the needs of our family. My husband Keith passed away 28th January and his funeral was arranged for 6th March by Sam at the Bilston office. She was most helpful from start to finish and I can’t thank her enough for the help and advice she gave me at such a traumatic time. The after care she gave me was excellent and she truly is a lovely caring lady.

My dear dad recently passed away and he knew the Walter's family for many years. As a family this was our first choice of Funeral Directors. Mom and dad had already arranged the Funeral on a previous date, which I would definitely recommend because there is so much to do and by doing that it takes the pressure and the stress away a little from the remaining family. From the minute we walked in the door at the Tipton offices everything was done with the upmost dignity and professionalism. The lady who comes to greet you was very welcoming and respectful. We met a lovely lady called Steph Williams. Such a kind and caring, comforting and thoughtful person. She has looked after us all the way through and nothing was too much trouble for her. It's so hard because you are dealing with the death of a family member and she made it feel a lot easier to deal with and guided us through everything. The orders of service had to be done and we chose what we wanted and Steph did the rest and how beautiful they were too. Steph arranged for us to see the Priest to arrange the service everything was done very smoothly and we didn't have to worry. All the flowers were arranged by Walter's too and my dad loved the Jaguar MK II so to our amazement mom had ordered a car and we gave Steph a photograph of what it looked like. We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw it the attention to detail and all the flowers we ordered were really beautiful. We will never forget them. Our whole experience in these very difficult circumstances was dealt with extreme care and understanding from start to finish. The funeral itself was very respectfully done and the gentlemen who escorted us were exceptional and very courteous in every way. Funerals are very hard but when you have someone helping you along the way who you can really rely on it makes such a difference. Our whole family would just like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of you for making my dad's day one of the nicest funerals and for being so understanding and giving him the dignity that he so deserved he would have been so proud. My dad was a very proud man a smart man and a very clever man and a gentleman and that showed even when we came to see him in the chapel of rest. This was also done in a way that only Walter's would have known how. Thank you very much and to you Steph we are very grateful for being there for us all and for how you have kept us updated constantly. My father Alan Lunn passed away on the 2nd of July and we were unsure on what to do but A&A Walters was truly amazing from start to finish even down to the celebrant they chose for the service. Definitely recommended

My husband Alan Richards passed away Monday 10th June 2024 I contacted A A Walters because they did the funeral for My Father and Mother and Brother and My husbands Mother. They did my family proud on all the funerals and provided an excellent service with true dignity and would like to thank everyone there.

A&A Walters, Tipton branch, provided a caring and compassionate service from start to finish following the sudden death of Margaret, a cherished wife, mom, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. At all times they acted with the utmost professionalism and conducted matters efficiently. We appreciated their constant support at a difficult time.

My family and I recently lost our beloved sister/auntie, Debbie, we decided that A & A Walters should be the ones to take her on her final journey and a great choice that was. They sorted everything for us so it was stress free and they were able to accommodate our every need from looking after our Debbie up to the service and even afterwards. A A Walters stands for absolutely amazing!
Sadly, my mum, Margaret Ann Welch, passed away on the 16th of May 2024 and she had a Golden Charter Plan. I rocked up to Walters with the death certificate in my hand, totally devastated and from start to finish the whole process was made easy. They made me an appointment with Steph and she was totally awesome. She was understanding caring and compassionate. She guided me on what we needed to do and often touched base with a lovely email or sincere call. I believe she cared about me as a person and not just a funeral process. First, she let me know when Mom was with them which gave me peace of mind. Then, she arranged for the funeral to be on the Monday after mum’s birthday even though there was not much time to organise this. I requested Steve Walters to complete the ceremony, and this was organised without hesitation. Then she arranged for my Mum to be dressed and her favourite bear to be with her. she organised the newspaper verses for me proofreading and reassuring me they were not too long. Also, she called me before sending over the order of service sheets to proofread so I could prepare myself before opening an upsetting email. She created an amazing photo tribute to music which was played during the funeral – perfect just as I wanted. On the day of the funeral, they looked after us well. They guided us on how to push Mum to the front of the chapel as we wanted to complete this ourselves. The funeral was everything I wanted in a stress-free way. She also arranged the scattering of my Mother’s ashes and a jewellery order made with ashes. I have used AIA ,Walters before for many family members including my Dad, Father-in-law, Mother-in-law, Aunt and Uncle and I would not use anyone else as their service has been consistent over the years. Steph went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble. I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for myself and my family during the passing of my Mum. I am now considering purchasing a Golden Charter Plan for myself and my husband as the service is nothing but outstanding.

We used these funeral directors for our beloved mom/nan Elsie Warmer, we had everything we wanted organised in a stressless way, church was handled by them and the grave deeds. We were guided on what we needed to do by A & A Walters which made it so much easier. My mom/nan used this funeral home 38 ish years ago for my fathers/grandads funeral and we would not use anyone else, service has been consistent over so many years.

The team in the Tipton office were fantastic from start to finish with looking after my mom. We dealt with Steph who was superb. They were, understanding, caring, and compassionate. Highly recommended service.

We made arrangements a few years ago through the golden charter plan, and the time recently came that we used the plan.
Andy, Steven and the Tipton team were amazing help and support through the whole process, would certainly recommend them.
