Online Shopping
I shopped online from this company to buy an exam book for my daughter who plays the violin at grade 8 level. When the book arrived, we realised the violin part was missing in the book. I sent an e-mail to their customer service, but received no answer. Later, following me sending them a WhatsApp message, a lady rang me and told me they checked all the books in the shop but none of them had a violin part. --- By the way, on the book cover it says 'for violin and piano' --- We wanted to see this for ourselves, so we took the fourty-five minute long journey to Waltons' Blanchardstown shop. The shop assistant understood us immediately. He told us we were right and he would change the book. However, he couldn't find another copy, so he said he couldn't refund the money but he could give us a gift card. We said we didn't need a gift card, we shopped for an exam book not for anything else. He told us there was no other option, so we had to accept the gift card. After this, I WhatsApped the customer service again asking for my money back, but no one texted me back. ----- I bought a book, which was delivered to me with a missing part. My daughter's exam was delayed because of this. I shopped for a book, but now I have a gift card. I want my money back but no-one is replying to me. I went to Blanchardstown from far away, which takes time and I spent money to solve the problem but I couldn't. I shopped online, and I'm having to chase Waltons for a problem they caused. I don't recommend anyone this shop.
