NEVER EVER AGAIN

Terrible customer service, they make returns difficult and only offer store credit for returns. The shoes I brought are falling apart I've only worn them 2 times. And the 2 pair i returned were cut wayyyy too small and I ordered a size up.

Amazing beautiful stunning dress

I had lost all hope of finding the right wedding dress until I found this one. Its fantastic more beautiful than in the photo and it feels so great on, everything is perfect about it. I would highly recommend this dress if you really want to feel special you will not regret it Thank you so much wardrobe shop!

So I bought a sheep jumper from these…

So I bought a sheep jumper from these guys and then read the reviews! I got mine within 2 weeks, I had been in touch with customer service who replied the next day. The jumper is amazing!! Super quality, gorgeous design, I’m really pleased with it and will be ordering more!

Avoid.......Avoid....... Avoid

Terrible company,literally no customer service and whe. You do get them there no help atall.clothes come but cheap fake versions of website and sizing is way off.if you are stupid enough to order from then go 2 sizes up.pray you don't need to return them for refund as that won't happen.

Nice dresses terrible customer service

Nice dresses terrible customer service. Beware you will not get what you expect based on their website, then you will have to pay for shipping it back for exchange or return. They promise a 2-week hustle-free return, NOT TRUE. They will want to keep 15%. In exchanges be aware their sizes are not consistent. I exchanged the dress for the same size in a different style and it was completely the wrong size. If I chose a bigger size the price increases by $60 more plus I would have to pay for shipping both ways. Not a good honorable business. I spent close to $ 300. and have no dress for my wedding in two weeks. Stay away.

Wardrobe Shop team is so awesome with…

Wardrobe Shop team is so awesome with customer service. I wish they'd teach other companies how it should be done. Not only are their clothes vintage, but the service level is that of days gone by when the customer was king and companies couldn't do enough for their customers. Being in sales myself, I so appreciate wonderful customer service. Thank you!

Buyer BEWARE. Sketchy. SCAM Return/exchange policies. Sizing charts (shoes/boots) is way off

Buy from someone else. NO STARS is appropriate. Customer service? NONE. Size chart for shoes/boots is way off. After asking about the foot measuring and sizing per the Wardrobe Shop Size Chart, I was advised to follow the directions after 2-3 chats over a one year period. The chat responses were not helpful and actually pretty worthless. I really wanted the boot so after following the size chart directions, I placed my order and the boots arrived 1.5 to 2 sizes too large! I agreed to the restocking fee in order to get a return authorization. I returned and repurchased the boot in my regular size and when they arrived...THEY FIT!!! Even exchanges do not require the restocking fee and this was essentially an even exchange so Brenda told me she could see that it was an exchange and she'd get "right on it"; "it" being the rest of my refund. With no confirmation of the adjustment I wrote and asked why there was no notification and Margo sent me a message, assuring me that it was being addressed. This is when; of the $83.11 they owed me, I was refunded $41.11. The Jasmine boot is priced at $255.00 tax is 24.86 (tax should have been for the address the purchase was sent to [@$19.00] and not the local tax for Wardrobe Shop) and the FREE SHIPPING on orders over $75.00 COSTS $2.00? FREE = $0.00 My total purchase was $281.86. The (TOO BIG) first pair ordered was returned and I was refunded $198.75????? I wrote and advised that this was an even exchange so Brenda refunded me another $41.11 (instead of the $83.11). That only totals $239.86. I wrote and asked where the remainder of my refund was and I was advised (via email according to Maurice) that my $40.00-($42.00 incl that $2.00 FREE SHIPPING!!) would not be refunded because TAX AND SHIPPING ARE NON REFUNDABLE? With no further response from Maurice/Brenda/Margo, I contacted my bank who was rendering payment for both purchases.
BANNER AT THE TOP OF the WARDROBE SHOP WEB-PAGE CLEARLY STATES:
1.) FREE SHIPPING in USA on ORDERS OVER $75.00
2.) Also; by law, TAX paid on a purchase is to be returned to the buyer.

A PARTIAL REFUND ON AN EVEN EXCHANGE IS SHADY, FOLKS!
Wardrobe shop should have returned every penny from my first purchase. This was an even exchange and it should not matter that I returned and repurchased the same boot *because Wardrobe Shop's sizing info is not standard*. I paid $17.00 in shipping to return the (TOO LARGE) first pair I ordered per their size chart measurements. If I'd known better, I'd have ordered my regular size and this mess would have been avoided. I spoke to my bank and explained this sketchy Wardrobe Shop exchange policy behavior and my bank took care of the dispute. I had been looking at the boot for some time and had been in search of the style for a number of years. I paid for the return shipping so the $281.86 amount should've been returned to me in it's entirety and Wardrobe Shop chose DISREPUTABLE business practices instead. Would I do business with them again? NO!

P.S.

I recommend using AMAZON.COM instead which also has the JASMINE BOOT from OAK TREE FARMS. Unless you must do business with Wardrobe Shop find another reputable vendor to buy from.

I purchased this dress for my…

I purchased this dress for my Australian Bush Style wedding, it was beautiful and fitted perfect and arrived within 8 days. I got compliments all day and still people are asking me where did I get my dress, and the boots I also purchased just finished the dress off, again everyone was asking where did I get them...even though the boots did not get here until the Thursday (due to warehouse mix up) before the Saturday (wedding day) I was impressed with staff of Romantic Vintage Style Fashion for having them sent by express free of charge..made my day and would recommend purchasing these lovely dresses for any special occasion.

Very saddened with the experience I had…

Very saddened with the experience I had with this online store. The dress I ordered was shipped to England and arrived weeks after my money was taken. I had various internet chats with a 'Gina' who kept addressing me as 'Miss M' which made me think this was a Chinese company. It certainly is not worth the money it cost me. It arrived extremely crushed, had a small hole in the front where it would be noticed and was like a dress that had come from the local market. I have not bothered to return this dress as it will cost me too much. Beware you have just 5 days to contact them in order to process a return.

Excellent experience

I'm puzzled by the bad reviews here. My experience was excellent. First of all, I read the Return Policy that is clearly on their site before I purchased. It says "Returns will be accepted for refund, minus a 15% restocking fee and original cost of shipping. To qualify for a refund, the item must be post marked in the mail within 5 days of delivery. Please allow 24 hours for a return request to be answered. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges back." These terms are common with most companies.

I ordered the Downton Abbey tea dress. I got regular updates on its progress through the mail.

When the dress arrived, it just didn't look good on me, so I decided to return it. I wasn't sure of where to ship. When you go to their site, there is an icon that says "We're online...how can I help you today." I sent a message asking where I should mail the dress. I got a reply immediately from Gina. She said she would send the address to my email, and it arrived about 5 minutes later. I took the dress to our post office within the 5 days that is clearly listed on their Return Policy. It cost me about $7. I had sent it priority mail, so I knew it would reach them the next day. Because of the reviews below, I was prepared to not receive the refund, and maybe have to fight for it. However, I received a notice the next day saying that my refund had been processed, and would be applied to my credit card, and it appeared a few days later, which is the bank's policy. So my experience was excellent.

Bad customer service and horrible…

Bad customer service and horrible return policy. The "Return Manager" button on their website doesn't work and this is by design, so they can trick you into getting stuck with items that don't work for you. Customer service phone goes straight to voice mail. They gave me only 5 days to return it, but one of those days was a Sunday, one was a national holiday and when I emailed their customer service dept. with my concerns, they dragged their feet for 24 hours before responding and then tried to blame me that the email address was incorrect, although I had the correct order number and it would come right up on their computer. It cost me $92.00 to return a pair of boots that were too narrow and cost $255.00. to begin with. Thats creative accounting at best, thievery at worst. Even with the 15% "restocking fee" (I liked the boots enough to take a $38.25 risk) there is no way it cost them $42.00 to ship it to me. I sent it back the same way I received it, in all the original packaging and the shipping was $11.95. So why did they try to steal $30.00 from me? Never use this company, they are unscrupulous --Shady. Shame on them!

Buyer beware!

Buyer beware!! YOU MUST ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT RETURN POLICY! They don't tell you there is a 15% restocking fee AND if they didn't charge you the shipping fee, THEY SUBTRACT THAT TOO even though you have to PAY to send it back to them!!! Took them over a week to even respond that they received my item back. And that was after phone calls and emails!!! You better want whatever it is you order!!!!

Buyer beware

Buyer beware! I purchased Oak tree Farm boots in a half size larger as recommended. They were too large so I had to ship then back at my cost of $20.00. I then reordered them in the correct size and they charged me $18.00 to ship them. What they don't tell you is that you only get free shipping on the first order. So it cost me $38.00 in shipping to get the correct size. If you want to purchase these boots I suggest you buy them direct from Oak Tree Farms.com They offer free shipping and free returns! I could have save a lot of money and time.

This company is Excellent!

I purchased a "Downton Abbey" dress from this shop. The owner communicated with me quickly and offered customer service in whatever way I needed it. The dress got here quickly and it is beautiful! The craftsmanship is excellent. You couldn't ask for more from this shop.

I will certainly sing this shops praises and will recommend to my friends!! Great Shop!
