I’ve yet to have a bad experience from ordering online.
I usually order my books from Warhammer.com, and sometimes I’ll buy boxed sets or miniatures. I understand some people have had bad experiences or minor inconveniences, I luckily never have. Books and models come on time, usually quicker than the 10-12 days it says to expect. The packaging is safe, and in the 7 years of me being in the hobby, I’ve only had 1 issue where a boxed set had the head missing of a model. I reached out to customer service and they quickly sent me a replacement free of charge and once again, it arrived quickly. Thank you, I hope everyone reading this also has good experiences. I hate this webstore. Everybody hates this webstore. Anybody saying anything nice since this stupid page got revamped is a bot. None of my data caches, the back button after filtering a search removes all your search criteria. Trying to select store pickup just magically doesn't work most of the time. It's god awful ugly on PC especially. Who designed this? Get a refund

Best Sci-Fi since Star Wars, but imperfect
The Warhammer web store is easy to access, use, and search on, making it easy for both experienced hobbyists and those new to wargaming to find what they need to start. Made to Order is also a great way for older hobbyists to get back in by painting minis they may have painted years ago.
I've only encountered one problem, and that is that a lot of miniatures that I'd really like to get are only available online rather than in store. This really sucks, as I find it as a way to try to get more money out of the consumer, and I hope that this becomes less and less common over time. (some examples are the Harbinger of Decay, the Horus Heresy Legion upgrades, and some of the Land Raider variants)

absolutely dogshite website. redeeming free miniatures is well hidden and intentionally doesnt transfer cookies to attempt to prevent you from claiming an item youve already paid for. GW need to pull their heads out of their collective arses and do better

We still haven't learned all our lessons
The quality of the miniatures themselves isn't in doubt. The prices and the sustainability of their business model certainly are, but I don't have the time or patience to go into that here. The payment page could use some retooling (just make the PayPal/Visa/etc. icons clickable), and the site itself could be organized more neatly.
Come on, James, you're a multibillion-dollar, publicly traded corporation; you are past the point where not having a near-perfect site is inexcusable. And stop charging for game rules, while we're at it!

I had an issue as a retailer ordering web-only items. I had a cart with several different citadel bases with quantities greater than one. When I went to check out, it went through the whole thing, only to be spit back to my order page telling me that the order can't be fulfilled because one or more items have quantities greater than what is in stock.

It has taken me many attempts to login…
It has taken me many attempts to login to obtain my free WH+ miniature, add items to my cart, go through the billing without crashing. I tried three different browsers. Several different payment methods - paypal seems to crash the most FYI. I still am getting issues with proper certificates for the site, causing issues when trying to simply view products. The search engine is terrible and often does not return exact matches even when they exist, as spelled.
