They are awful

They are awful. I paid, registered my product, and passed the diagnostic test. These were the steps outlined in their email. When I filed a claim it was immediately denied because they said they have no picture of the screen, which was not asked for. Keep in mind, the diagnostic test specifically tests the screen for functioning. Also, the damage is the UI and the screen is just fine, I told them that and sent a picture but nothing. Total scam, which is why the BBB is investigating these used electronic warranty companies. File a complaint!!

You cannot submit a claim on a damaged device which is the reason for denial.

Amazing service!

I could not believe how quick and easy the process was for submitting a claim and receiving a refund! I did it on my phone and it was easy. I submitted a request with a picture of my cracked screen. Within a day, I received an email confirming my refund and the total. I was even given options for how I wanted to receive payment. I was worried when the actual repair was much more than what I had already received in a refund. No problem! I submitted the receipt and they refunded the difference without hesitation. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND warranty life!

Claim Request Completed

Response was quick and expected cost to repair the screen was sent in a couple of days, minus the deductible. The expected cost to repair the screen was higher than what Warranty Life anticipated, but they paid the difference in cost when I submitted my receipt from my phone service repair.

Buyers beware this company avoids paying out claims. Will ask you to take pictures of device in mirror and will say pictures not clear to evade not paying the claim. SquareTrade is a much better service.

Great customer service!

I contacted warranty life regarding a cracked screen. They sent me an estimated amount. When the work was done there was a $79 difference and they promptly refunded the difference. Their support was great!

From skeptical to amazement

When my screen initially cracked, I was skeptical at first. The initial response after opening my claim was fast, and payment for expected cost to repair the screen was sent in a couple of days. However, the cost to repair the screen was actually higher than initially anticipated, but they paid the difference in cost when I submitted my paid invoice. I was amazed to see that companies like this still exist and are looking out for their customers!

Excelent service and quick response.

Excelent service and accurate policy. I am so glad I got this insurance for my device. Leaving in a remote area in Alaska I didn't have many options to fix my device. Response was quick and they really covered my repair. I am definetly recommending warranty life to my friends and family.

Not so great.

You guys gave me like 160 less than what the actual fix price was even though you guys knew that it would cost like 400 dollars because nobody does it for any less.

Definitely worth it...

I purchased a plan through Gazelle.com when I purchased my phone. The screen needed replacement and warranty life covered it. The phone was fixed and warranty life refunded me the cost. I would definitely purchase a plan through them again. The only thing I didn't like was that they would only email me once per day, so I had to use an old phone for a couple weeks, which would have sucked if I didn't have a back up. I don't fault them for that, because I know everyone is short staffed due to Covid.

They answered my emails promptly and when I sent them a paid invoice for the new battery and a picture of the old battery they reimbursed me promptly via my PayPal account. Excellent service all the way around!

iPhone warranty claim

I bought a warranty for an iPhone. 4.5 months later it died and wouldn’t turn on. Warranty Life has a 90 day wait period but thankfully ours died after the wait period. I screwed up and didn’t remove “find my iPhone” before sending it in which delayed my payment. There was a $50 deductible on my policy, they gave me a full refund of the purchase price less the deductible directly into my paypal acct. They were responsive by email. Total claim took a few weeks but it would have been much faster if I had removed the “find my iPhone” as instructed before sending it in. I would use this company again.

Admitted they approved my claim but…

Admitted they approved my claim but changed their mind after. Using an excuse that my hand was covering a small part of the screen to deny the claim. Was my glass cracked on the picture before? No it was not. Did I pass the touch test on the diagnostic tool? Yes I did. Why don't you guys reply about that? Talking about misleading when they mislead me that the claim was approved. Won't even reply to simple emails and ignoring on purpose. Shady company.

Horrible experience.

Bought this coverage along with a phone from swappa.com. The front screen glitched out and died after about 45 days. No damage to the device at all. I put in a claim and was denied because they "don't cover mechanical issues until 90 days after purchase" and "properly working devices don't just stop working".

After they stopped responding, I submitted another ticket with the same info, but said it was dropped, because I was curious if they'd actually cover that. They just closed it with a fraud warning.

24 hours between each interaction, no phone number to call, unprofessional email responses pointing to conditions that aren't stated in the terms that I got when paying for the warranty... At least I had no issue getting a full refund from Swappa.

Matthew, the policy on plans purchased does contain a 90 day wait period for mechanical issues as laid out in the Terms and Conditions. This is because we don't know for sure what condition the device is in when purchased and provides a buffer so "bad" devices are not unfairly covered. As the buyer, you have recourse with the seller and should be the subject of your focus. We are sorry we could not hep you in this case.

Quick and painless

I unfortunately damaged my phone and had to get it serviced. I got in touch with Warranty Life to check on my phone warranty coverage and got a positive response within a day which was amazing. Shortly after I got a portion of the cost sent to me so I could have my phone serviced at a local shop.

The total repair ended up being higher than expected so I got in touch with Warranty Life again. Within a day or 2 I received a phone call to follow up on my case and within a couple days the rest of the cost was transferred to me.

This has ought to be one of he speediest interactions I've had with an Insurance company, and I really appreciate their support and quick resolution times.
Great experience!!!

Pointless Insurance for phone!!

I bought a $500 phone from swappa and it started to glitch. I reached out to Warranty Life company and they have been dragging my claim for almost two months. My Screen is damaged due to the LCD Screen and not the actual software. I've sent videos pictures and even had a professional look at it to determine that it was due to phone screen damage. I've done everything to comply with this company and my warranty runs out in Aug....they have yet to resolve issue. All o need is my screen replaced or money back for my phone! I don't know why they are giving me a hard time. They've even asked me to have a UBIFI ' U BREAK IT I FIX IT' employee provide me a diagnostic receipt with how much the cost would be for the repair WITH my IMEI information as well as My phone information & my contact address. I've reported that and they still wanted to know if my phone glitches due to the LCD. How ridiculous is this? I even told them to contact the UBIFI employee to discuss that in fact it is the screen issue not due to software and the Warranty life company ignored my Email for week. I've looked into the agreement contract and no phone number I'd avaliable for this company. I still have a glitches phone and I am unable to get this situation handled by them. Im so angry with this silly company you call Warranty life.......I've never had so much difficulty with an insurance company in my life! Disappointed! I will share on every review I come ACROSS

AS OF 3:22pm EST 6/17 the company below had replied....but this is my reply since I cannot reply after their reply.
My review still remains the same I will not change it!
My email reply to them<

Hiya - I've provided the receipt and contact information with how much the repair would cost ... so in this case I did and the issue wasn't solved by your guys..You claim you're proceeding with caution...how ridiculous does that sound when I've told you guys several times the glitches isn't software related? Call the UFIBI employee Jasper and he'll explain to you its the screen. If you cannot fix issue you should just say that instead of being misleading. Have a great day! I even went as far as getting my Software updated and the glitches is still due to the broken screen! WOW IM BAFFLED WITH THIS COMPANY

Hello, we apologize for your frustrations. The issue your device has is often the result of software and can be corrected by instructional procedures which have been provided to you. Repair companies are also eager to implement hardware fixes when not needed. In cases like this, we proceed with a little more caution and have asked for an estimate before deciding to repair or replace the device. If you could help provide that extra bit of information we can get you going.
