Bad experience, and I wouldn't trust them .

I've just mentioned my experience to my daughter after a watch on TV reminded me.
After COVID was over I went to collect my watch after admittedly well over the 3 months due to COVID, and just not going up that way when they were open.i had taken it back as moisture was making it mist up after service.
I was given a number to call as no space in this small space to store.
Phoned , and said they get rid of them due to to many boxes of them left with corrosive batteries.
I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't at least text me to give me a warning. It was an automatic watch , and if you have paid for a service this is very poor treatment.
I find it hard to believe that they just get rid of watches overdue for collection, especially as it had to be returned as misted up.
Therefore I would never trust them again, especially with anything of any personal value.
Really poor treatment, and living off of a previous good reputation which is such a shame.

Went to Dynamis watch repair yesterday…

Went to Dynamis watch repair yesterday and saw a fantastic fella called Kuba . Really friendly , helpful and knowledgeable. I took a replica Rolex deepsea challenge which I thought wasn't keeping time . Kuba checked it on his machine and its losing about 25s a day which he said wasn't bad for a rep watch. I also enquired if it was water resistant, again he put it in a different vacuum device and although I wont be going diving in it Kuba has given me the confidence that at least its good in the summer if I go in the pool . When I asked Kuba how much he said no fee....I felt bad so hopefully this review helps . I have another watch with a broken strap so will take back there ..brilliant service. I stepped aside to allow another gent have a battery fitted and kuba was again spot on with that request fitting a new battery swiftly for a decent price..can recommend this place highly

Swift service for a tricky fix

Swift service for a tricky fix. My watch needed a glass replacement as it was all smashed and the battery needed changing. Worth the money and it was fixed in a few days. Straight forward

Not for Luxury Watches

Avoid!! I have been using Watches to Go since 2004, when the brilliant Sean was the watchmaker in the booth. I took all my watches there, including Corum, IWC, and Rolex. In more recent years, I took watches to Sean and Santos, and they continued to do sterling work. Watch Repair Piccadilly say they have been in business 25+ years but they are being disingenuous. It's clear Sean and Jose no longer work there. I understand the new boss, Junior, is Santos's son and now runs the company, which is now called Watch Repair Piccadilly.
In late 2020, I took a seldom-worn 2009 Sea Dweller to Piccadilly Watches for a service and polish. I picked up the watch after Covid for obvious reasons and put it away among my collection. In 2023, I decided to wear the watch and found it was not running properly. I also noticed that the watch was badly over-polished on 3 links. I took the watch back to Piccadilly Watches, who assessed it and said the watch had not been sealed properly and that its workings/movement had "gone dry". When I complained, the lady in the office, who clearly knew little about watches, told me it was not their fault and the watch should be serviced "every 2 years." Moreover, they would be happy to service it again and give me a 10% discount on the cost. I was shocked, really disappointed, and - frankly - not confident about putting the watch in their care again. Instead, I took the watch to a former Rolex watchmaker, and this is the summary of the work that needed to be done:

- Seals
- Crown
- Barrel
- Mainspring
- Reverso wheels
- Screws
- Wheels

It's clear to me that Sean and Jose are no longer working on the watches, and the servicing done by Watch Repair Piccadilly was not done by a trained watchmakers. Sadly, while the location of Watch Repair Piccadilly is the same as Watches to Go, the services are now delivered by a cowboy outfit. I believe they may be capable of changing batteries and watch straps on lower-end watches, but I would not give them any luxury watches for servicing or polishing.

If you have a decent watch don't let these jokers get their hands on it.

Piccadilly Watch Repair had my Omega Seamaster for over a year.
Not only is it in a worse condition than when I sent it for overhaul but NOW it does not selfwind sufficiently
Furthermore the minute sweep hand timer keeps going after the button is pressed and now the glass has fallen out followed by the tachymeter ring. If you have a decent watch don't let these jokers get their hands on it.

A secret little nugget of helpfulness…

A secret little nugget of helpfulness sat in a tiny kiosk in Piccadilly Circus Underground station! Took my Christopher Ward watch in with a broken bracelet... yes it was only a spring pin and was fixed for free in a minute with super-friendly service. But he also mentioned their servicing etc which of course, I shall return for. Also spread the word to my work colleagues what a brilliant little place this was. Thank you!

True customer service from skilled craftsmen

As others testify, this is a hidden gem. Have used them a few times and trusted them with repairing the watch I have from my mum - huge sentimental value and work was perfectly done. I happened to be passing by yesterday and needed one of the links adjusted - done in 5 minutes. And despite insisting to pay, it was refused and done free of charge as courtesy to previous repair work. True customer service from skilled craftsmen - much appreciated !

astonishing knowledge and precision of work...very friendly and concentrated at the same time....would always go back....even though seemed unusual premises in piccadilly if one is used to going to bond street watch stores, seems perfect in fact, line of 5 people in front of me all seemed equally happy with the results of repair....(it was in fact recommended by the top jewellry store in london, across from fortnums...)

Rolex sky-dweller polish.

I had my Rolex Sky-Dweller polished here, and the results were even better than what I’ve experienced from Rolex’s in-house service. The team is incredibly professional and they have a fully equipped workshop with all the necessary tools. Their attention to detail and quality of work is outstanding. Highly recommended!
