Households that spend $900 plus on an RO filtration system that is done an exceptional job outlining the specifications of the system. Do not want to add a mineralization filter that has no specifications at all, and in fact, adds nitrate the better thing to do is you have pharmaceutical grade mineral drops to be added to the water after dispensing at the tap. For a company that provides itself on its science and technology this filter is a sloppy addition and a sloppy add on.
The directions to install the unit we are very clear. The quality of the product was also very good.

It is great! Easier to replace cartridges than old systems and it is easy to install and use. I love that I can add UV and remineralization as well.. great feature set.

The system seems well designed and was easy to install. I liked that I didn’t need to purchase anything separately for the install. I did use my own non digital faucet, which worked out fine. I didn’t care for the remineralization filter. I didn’t like the taste or feeling. Outside of that, the product is worth the expense imo.

I could not connect Remineralization as the water pipe which came is too short and would only reach to the system and there was no way I could cut it any further.. team should consider giving another extra pipe to be able to connect remineralization kit, now its sitting unused because I do not have additional pipe

We absolutely love this system! We have well water, but it is hard water with manganese. We have been buying Poland Spring water for years. It is our favorite; its taste is unmatched in our opinion... Over the past couple of years, Poland Springs prices have about doubled. Once we put together what we spent a month on water, the Waterdrop system made perfect sense. We were a bit worried about how the water would taste after RO filtering. Well, I'm here to tell you the water taste is unreal, dare I say better than our beloved Poland Springs, yes, way better. So glad we made this investment! We figured this sytem will have paid for itself in less than a year of use. I found this very easy and straightforward to install, with very clear directions. In my opinion, if you're on the fence about this, do it! Well worth it! Pete.

I've only had this for about 6 weeks now so I can't speak to it's longevity but so far so good. I'm on a shallow well (35 feet) and although the well water tested good, it didn't taste very well and the well also has rust bacteria in it. So we've always had our drinking water delivered. The water delivery service was starting to get expensive so we started looking into drinking the well water. I treat my well with chlorine twice a year. The incoming water passes thru a whole house carbon block filter then a water softener before going to the RO then thru a remineralization filter before going to the faucet. I installed my system at a utility sink in my basement. The RO faucet is at the utility sink with a line also ran to the fridge. My family is accustomed to a water cooler in the kitchen so we just stayed with that setup. I bought my own cooler and a couple five gallon jugs then cancelled the water delivery service. The water from this unit tastes identical to the bottled water from the delivery company. With the flexibility of this system, I could easily move it to the kitchen for a more traditional setup but for the savings of not paying for water delivery, I don't mind refilling jugs at the utility sink. This unit should pay for itself in a little over a year. Possibly sooner since we no longer buy the smaller water bottles either. All told, I'm happy with this unit. The install was easy. Filter changes are easy. The RO faucet and the filter unit both display filter condition and total dissolved solids (TDS) which is a nice feature. The water tastes good. The unit is one of the more efficient ones in terms of waste water. There's no tank to mess with. The pump noise is noticable so if this were under a kitchen sink you'd definitely know when it runs. That's not an issue for me but might be for others. The unit rinses down every so often after periods of no flow so the pump might kick on at some random time when it's sat for a while. I specifically did not want a" smart" system as I've found over the years it seems like apps get glitchy and stuff gets obsolete and no longer updated or supported. This is a pretty simple, straightforward unit that does precisely what it's supposed to and does it well. I have no reason not to recommend this to anyone wanting to improve their water quality.

Truly, highly satisfied. Doesn’t take up a lot of space, quiet, works well and was simple enough to install - once I gave up on the directions. The videos and manual cover too many models, and theirs minor jump arounds in the pictures/videos leaving questions. Example, provide Teflon tape, don’t say to add it anywhere (if you haven’t done any plumbing, you might have an issue). Nowhere does it explain how the RO filter gets put into the mix, I assume cause it’s an add on but instructions aren’t difficult to make. It’s a one and done. The only other gripe I have, and it works well I’ve had no issues thus far but seems worrisome, the whole slide the hose in to the line and add a click lock holder in to keep it locked in place? Longevity may be an issue. It was the only place I had an initial leak occur, shut it down, removed the lock tab, pushed down harder rerouted hoses to be a little more free, reinstalled tab, good to go. I would absolutely buy again, and recommend it to anyone who asks. Only missed 5 star marks for those two areas, would’ve done 4.5 if I could’ve.
