I recently took my mom to see Donald and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He provided fantastic service fro start to finish. Not only did he deal with an ear issue my mom had been struggling with for years, but he also gave us clear, knowledgeable advice on what steps to take next. His experience really shows, and he explained everything in a way that was easy to understand.

He was professional, kind, and had such a good-natured personality, which immediately put my mom at ease. We left feeling reassured and very well looked after.

I had been to 2 other well known companies to have my hearing assessed but I did not feel comfortable with their approach.
I had early age related hearing loss and it was a sensitive matter for me to acknowledge and accept that I needed to consider hearing aids.
Donald was brilliant. He was sensitive to the situation and explained clearly what was wrong, the impact of my hearing loss and what my options were.
Donald allowed me the time and space to make a decision and no heavy sales push.
I have had hearing aids now for over a year and recently had my annual check up. They have improved my hearing and reduced those awkward situations when I did not quite pick things up clearly!

I attended my first appointment this afternoon. What a lovely guy Donald is! Such a pleasure to be in his company for one hour whilst he investigated my ear issue. He explained everything so clearly, and was so thorough in his investigations. He is so well qualified with lots of experience. Donald is a true professional!

Second: braw explanation of the functions of the ear and using great visualization, to understand as a non-specialist.

Donald’s calm approach was reassuring. He explained all the tests clearly and then interpreted the results for me in a way that was very understandable.

Donald is a very experienced and skilled practitioner. He explained everything very clearly and took time to make me comfortable with every step of the consultation. I would highly recommend him, and I’ll definitely return in the future. (I was a having impressions/moulds taken for In-ear monitors).

My daughter has a problem of blocked ear and hearing problem for four weeks. We visited GP three times but there was no improvement. We found Waves hearing at last. He completely resolved her ear problem after removed earwax safely. He explained very well all concerns we had. We all recommend him.

Travelled from Glasgow to Edinburgh to see Donald and it’s the best trip I have ever made!! My husband and myself visited for wax removal (me being a little anxious due to medical condition’s). This chap is nothing short of excellent. He talked us through every detail of the procedure step by step, took breaks when needed and was very gentle. Very easy to understand the advice given and excellent care all round. If I need treatment in the future I will arrange another appointment with Donald, particularly given that today was my second visit after my last one in March 2023

We went in to see Donald as my daughter has been experiencing hearing loss. Donald was so friendly and relaxed that my very shy and worried daughter was relaxed and happy. In her words ‘Donald was really good’, which she has never said before and we have seen many audiologists and ENT specialists. He took his time to explain everything and was very thorough. We left feel confident with what her hearing issue is and a clear plan in how to get her hearing again. This appointment was worth every penny and the communication before and after was second to none. I would highly recommend Donald to adults and children alike.

Donald listened carefully to my difficulties with repeated earwax build up in the past. Then he explained the various solutions very clearly so that it was easy to understand and the whole situation became much less stressful. I shall follow all his recommendations in the future.
