Wouldn't touch Enviro Waste with a barge pole

Booked a skip (with card details) with Enviro Waste 2 weeks before it was needed as having some serious work done to the house. Got the confirmation email. They called me the day before it was due to arrive to get my card details again and I specifically asked if they had arranged the necessary permits from the council. These permits take 5 days to process and can't be done quicker. No permit, no skip! Enviro Waste confirmed they had taken care of that.

Skip didn't turn up. I called them. For whatever reason, the booking wasn't confirmed with the right people, so the skip wasn't on its way and nor had the permit been arranged. I was 'offered' the option of paying for a van to take the waste away, at £250 a time, because it would now be impossible for me to get a skip in time.

Every time I wanted a van collection, it would cost me another £250. I would require more than one trip for the man with the van as otherwise there will be rubbish building up in my house while the working was taking place.

Enviro Waste acknowledged it was their fault but thought I should in effect pay extra for the cock up. I finished the phone call in tears. I now have no skip - no ability to get a skip - and extensive work taking place.

From the initial contact right through to the completion, Enviro Waste were very efficient and accommodating.

At the beginning it was hard to judge if the load for removal would all go in one job lot, which was booked for the morning, but it soon materialised the one load would become two. Enviro Waste were able to arrange for the same guys to pop back in the afternoon to clear the remainder without any problem, which was ideal under the circumstances, as there was a specific area that the lorry had to be parked due to the storage being in part of a Hospital. it also become apparent that I had to leave the storage facility in the afternoon and felt happy and comfortable for the two guys, on the second load, to work on their own without me being there. Both the guys and the office kept in constant touch with the progress during the afternoon. I would recommend Enviro Waste to anyone who needs items of equipment or furniture removed.

Horrible Service and poor professionalism. The company gave me a quote and convinced I should pay extra and go with them because of transparency and quality of service including next day pick up. I gave all my details, put my card on file and got a email confirmation with job sheet to 100% confirm the job.

Based on this I cancelled two other van drivers who gave me quotes. 4 hours later the company called up and said "they don't service my area"?!?!?!?! is it even legal to take someone's card details if they don't offer any services in that area?

In any case they cancelled the job and refused to fulfill a job they had already confirmed, now I'm at a loss because I need the job done and cant find anyone. If your in doubt i strongly recommend you use a different company like Clearabee who service all the areas they say they do.

EDIT / UPDATE: Since leaving the above review a senior member as got in touch to review the case. I will say she has tried to fix my issue as best she can but as I said to them, it was too little too late. I was removing furniture because I was expecting new deliveries, as they cancelled my job I had to re-arrange my delivery (at a personal cost) which cannot be reversed. As such, by the time someone senior got in touch it was too late to resolve my issue and I will have to take a hit on the re delivery charge.

I have removed some comments relating to doubts I had about my card details being secure with this company. Upon reflection and speaking with a senior member I can tell this is clearly a real company and they treat financial security with high importance. I have been assured my details have been deleted as the job is now cancelled.

My experience with Enviro Waste has been excellent! They have always been very helpful as and when i've needed, even with any last minute requests that i have had. They have always done their best to sort things out for me no matter what day or time it is. I definitely would recommend them to everyone!!!

We have used Enviro Waste a few times now since April 2016 and the service is excellent. There is always someone available to speak to if you have any questions and the staff that come and collect the waste are friendly, polite and efficient.

We recently had a project to clear a large amount of equipment from the school requiring roll on roll off skip hire. It was relatively short notice and after calling a number of skip hire companies I chose Enviro Waste, not only for the competitive price but for the manner in which my query was dealt with and how the call was answered. Although I had no idea how many skips I would need this proved not to be an issue as the collection and delivery of a replacement each time (we filled 3) was prompt which enabled us to continue with our clearance without any delays. We also discovered during the course of our clearance, a number of hazardous materials. Enviro Waste was able to provide guidance and help to remove these items again, promptly and efficiently. The whole team at Enviro Waste were friendly and helpful but I dealt mainly with Tara who was polite, knowledgeable and made me feel nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending EnviroWaste or in using them again in future.
