Web Design Studios LLC advertises 100+ shipped projects and a 99.4% customer satisfaction rate, but I have not been able to find verifiable examples of active client websites that substantiate these claims. Their portfolio features design concepts, which are not the same as completed, live client engagements.
**Another major concern is their About page.** The page features profiles of supposed team members, but in the corner there is a disclaimer stating: **“Illustrative team profiles. Names and portraits are fictional.”** In other words, the people being presented as part of the team are not real employees. While clearly labeling fictional illustrations is better than hiding the disclaimer, it is still worth knowing when evaluating a company and its claims about who is actually behind the business.
Even more concerning, they recently posted two AI-generated videos featuring supposed customers praising their work. Presenting AI-generated people as genuine customers without clearly disclosing that they are fictional is misleading and raises serious questions about the company's transparency and credibility.
I also called the company out on its Facebook page regarding these concerns. Rather than addressing the questions, they blocked me and deleted my comments. This only adds to my concerns about their willingness to be transparent and accept legitimate criticism.
For a business that sells trust, professionalism, and digital expertise, these practices are particularly concerning. Prospective clients deserve to see real, verifiable work and authentic customer feedback, not impressive-sounding statistics, fictional team profiles, and potentially fabricated social proof.
**I recommend doing your own due diligence before hiring this company.** Ask for links to live client websites, independently verifiable references, and clarification about the people featured in their promotional videos and About page. Verify their claims for yourself before paying them.
