Our stores make every effort to fulfil customer orders and we have guidelines in place to check the product specifications while processing them. However, at times, the stores notice that the item is incorrect, missing or unfit for online sale, thus, to avoid the inconvenience of returning the item to us, such orders are cancelled.

Took 10 days from CEX receiving…

Took 10 days from CEX receiving items(hardware) to getting the voucher, very slow.
When doing a drop and go it's 2 days max, online was really slow .

Worst Customer Service

1. Twice returned purchased items from CEX one was incorrect items sent and the other didn't work.
There does not seem to be ANY quality control to testing of products before selling.
2. Only way to contact CEX is via FaceBook or email, which you need to wait for a reply for some time. Issues could have been resolved in two minutes if I had the option to speak to a Human.
3. Never again buy from CEX online very bad Customer Service.

Unfortunately giving a 1 star since…

Unfortunately giving a 1 star since it’s been 4 days and yet to hear back the reason why I didn’t receive £113 for my camera

Watford CEX - staff were extremely friendly but for some reason I was not paid for dropping off my canon Ixus 185 on Saturday - had no emails or calls. I contact the form and it’s useless as they don’t reply

Super-fast delivery and items better than described

I tried CEX for the first time as i was looking for some genuine Sony PS5 Midnight Black console covers for my PS5 Digital with disc drive. CEX had 5 in stock and although they weren't cheap, I decided to register for an account and bought a set. Despite ordering on a Sunday, the panels arrived the very next day. They were all in their original factory packaging, completely undamaged and fitted perfectly. Thank you for such fast and efficient service and for providing panels that were as new and much better than I had expected.

Disappointing

Disappointing. Ordered a 4TB SSD sold to me at good price. The package arrived promptly, however I received a very scruffy looking 2TB drive instead. Contacted customer care via the website and was instructed to post it back to them (for free), which I did same day. A few days later I have received an email saying the refund is done. However (maybe because I used ApplePay?) the actual refund could be as many as 10 days away from actually being received. I ordered the SSD because I needed it (of course!) - but I can't afford to buy another replacement one until the refund has reached me. SO their error and slowness to make the refund has effectively meant I now have a backlog of work building that needs completing without the SSD to save it on. Disappointing and frustrating and so simply avoided if they had just sent me the correct drive in the first place. An appology? Nah. Opportunity to review - yep.

In this case, a replacement was not arranged as the correct stock was not available at the time, which is why a refund was processed instead. Refunds are usually completed within 3 to 5 working days, however depending on the payment method, such as Apple Pay, it may take up to 10 days for the funds to reflect in your account.

I understand the impact this delay has had on your work and I am sorry for the disruption caused.

Bad service

I purchased a Meta VR controller almost 2 weeks ago, it arrived broken - I have had no refund! I have not had a new one sent out, and now my emails are being ignored absolutely terrible service we will not be shopping online from here again!

The lens I bought was not listed…

The lens I bought was not listed correctly so I had to return to the shop for a refund. The lens stated Sony fit, but it didn't fit my Sony camera. I paid in three with Klarna, which meant the refund was made to them not me, so I had to open an account with them to get my refund. All a bit of a waste of my time.
