Sarunas Rimkus was Fantastic

Sarunas Rimkus was Fantastic! I was not disappointed with him, he told me the TrailBlazer had been in two or three accidents before I bought it, which I did not know about from the dealer I bought it from. The system where you offer one price but lower it so much is not encouraging.

That is what is was offered after answering all their questions regarding my vehicle. When I delivered the car for my appointment, they offered me $100.
I had a very disappointing experience with this company. I received a high online quote for my car, but when I brought it in, the actual offer was drastically lower — nowhere near what was advertised. It felt misleading and like a waste of my time.
They also offered to cover an Uber ride home, but only up to $25. My ride would have cost more than that, and I would have had to pay the difference out of pocket. This was never clearly explained upfront.
Overall, the experience felt deceptive and unprofessional. I will not be doing business with them again. I would strongly encourage others to carefully review all terms and be prepared for the in-person offer to be very different from the online quote. I contacted another company, received an offer and that is what we settled on . There are companies out there you can trust...just not this one.

We want to assure you that our business is built on transparency, integrity, and fairness. With over 100,000 five-star customer reviews across Google and Trustpilot, we have earned the strongest customer service reputation of any car dealer in the United States, and we take any allegation of deceptive practices very seriously because it does not reflect how we do business.

Regarding the difference between the online estimate and the final offer: during the online valuation process, you indicated that the vehicle had issues and were prompted to complete our damage assessment to provide more detail. That step was not completed despite a warning from our website, which meant the online estimate could only reflect the limited information provided. As a result, the valuation was generated as though the Mercury Milan had no physical or mechanical issues to disclose.

During our professional, in-person appraisal, our team identified the following condition issues:

• Front bumper cracked
• Rear bumper cracked
• Driver side front fender rust
• Passenger side front door rust
• Driver side rear quarter panel rust
• Undercarriage rocker panels rusted on both sides
• Passenger side front fender chipped
• Structural damage detected

Our OBD-II diagnostic scan also revealed two active fault codes:

• U0253 — Lost Communication With Accessory Protocol Interface Module (Airbag System)
• P1000 — On-Board Diagnostic Systems Readiness Test Not Complete

Our diagnostic tool also detected that the vehicle's trouble codes had been recently cleared just 37 miles before your appointment. P1000 is a code that appears when the vehicle's onboard diagnostic system has not completed its self-test cycle following a code reset, which is consistent with this finding.

We also want to clarify that our firm offer was several hundred dollars, not $100 as stated in your review. At that price, the transaction would have been at or near break-even for us, reflecting our commitment to making a fair market offer even on vehicles with extensive reconditioning needs. You chose not to proceed with the sale, and we respect that decision entirely.

Regarding the Uber credit: we offer up to $25 toward a ride home as a courtesy to customers who complete a sale. We're sorry if this was not communicated clearly ahead of your appointment, and we will review this with our Eden Prairie team to ensure expectations are set properly going forward.

We invite all customers to join the appraisal process so they can see what we see and understand how a vehicle's condition affects its valuation, and our team should have explained the nature of these problems before you had the opportunity to accept or reject our offer.

I had a really good customer experience…

I had a really good customer experience with the woman who helped me sell my car, but I was let down by the amount of money that I got for the car and felt a little taken advantage of on that end.
