Re-reviewed after they met my expectations for my car
I would like to add a new review and add a five star rating after they have open up a customer complaint behalf of my previous review.
The area manager contacted me few days back and ask me about the reason for the low star rating. I have shared my concern and they have re-evaluate the car resale value and consider to provide me another $200 which I received already by US Mail. The Area Manager as well as the appraisal agent both were very professional way handled my request and met my expectations. Due to the reason I’m giving them a five star rating this time.

The car price was very less than what I expected. Also, the process took longer than promised. I think if I sell my car outside of we buy any car may works out better for my car price that I expected. If you ever sell your car shop around prior to this place for better money for your car.

Hi Rajesh and thank you for taking time to rate the customer service delivered by our team in Northeast Philadelphia when you stopped by to sell your Toyota Camry. We promised you a five-star experience and we are sorry to hear that we let you down. We are committed to making that right.
I takes 20-30 minutes to appraise a car and about an hour total to sell if you accept our offer and complete the deal. We do track every stage of the process and recorded you arriving at 4:11 PM. Our systems show we cut you a check at 5:09 PM which is definitely within the service levels we strive to provide. I do see our team told you the appraisal would take 25 minutes but we should have made it clearer that completing the paperwork would add another 30 minutes.
With respect to the valuation, the online estimate was based on information you provided on 8/31 which stated the Toyota was in good physical and mechanical shape. Like any buyer, we do complete checks on the vehicle before making an offer and there were a number of physical and mechanical issues as explained by our team. I see from the appraisal photographs that the check engine light was on and our diagnostic equipment did detect engine noise. This was confirmed by OBD2 diagnostics which reported the following fault codes:
P0440 EVAP System
P0441 EVAP System Incorrect Purge Flow
P0446 EVAP System Vent Control Circuit
On the test drive, we noted a transmission slip which was the other major issue hurting the Toyota's resale value. Cosmetically, the Camry had a chipped windshield and the paintwork was heavily oxidized. This should have all been explained with full transparency before you had the opportunity to accept or reject our offer.
Despite the issues with the car, we're pleased we were able to make you an offer you were happy to accept and cut you a check within an hour. We would love to know how our team could have done better in the circumstances.
I have opened a customer complaint on your behalf which has been escalated to your local Area Manager. They will take personal responsibility for addressing your concerns and giving you a five-star customer service outcome.

Kept me well-informed
Kept me well-informed, was focused on what he was doing, made sure I understood. There is an Experian notation that my car was involved in a head-on collision in New Jersey in 2022. This never happened and State Farm has verified they have no documentation of any such accident. Experience wants me to produce documents proving the accident didn’t happen.??? I suggest you investigate where Experian got this inaccurate information.
