We take customer feedback very seriously. Please know that we have logged a formal complaint on your behalf. The Area Manager responsible for our team in that region is personally investigating the situation and will be reaching out to you directly to discuss your experience.
We understand your frustration with the difference between your online valuation and the final, in-person offer. Our online tool provides an estimate based on the information you provide, but it isn't a firm offer until we've completed our professional, on-site inspection.
During your online appraisal, you correctly disclosed damage to the seat and sunvisor. However, during our hands-on inspection of your Hyundai Elantra, we found several additional mechanical and cosmetic issues that were not included in the original estimate. These issues, which go beyond fair wear and tear, had to be factored into our final offer:
* Inoperable power steering
* Oxidation on the fender, panel, and trunk lid
* Rust on the hood
* Low tread depth on the tires
Additionally, our OBD-II diagnostic scan revealed the following fault codes:
* P0106 – Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Problem
* B2500-00 – Warning Lamp Fault
* B1493-00 – PODS (Passenger Occupant Detecting System) Communication Error
* C1333 – Front Right Sensor Fault
We also want to apologize for the time your visit took. Our records show the process lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes, which is longer than our one-hour target for a completed sale. We sincerely apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience.
