I didn’t enjoy the initial call received by the AI bot. Once through to a real person I was given advice but haven’t solved the problem. However, they were very polite and reassuring

Do not trust these people I have been…
Do not trust these people I have been waiting for a month for my money now they’re asking me to send my bank statements even tho they had no problem sending £5 to my account for an old phone .

STAY AWAY. They offered an initial £358 and now want to pay £90.
They offered an initial £358, I should have known it was a sc@m. You do not get free post as if the phone is over £150 you have to pay for the postage. A phone in pristine condition was deemed faulty. They even said the rare camera was not working, etc. I am worried that they may have even switched my phone. I am just waiting for my phone to be returned to me.

Offer high and pay low.
I have an immacuulate iPhone 14 pro. The battery is a little less than new and Apple offered me £255 when I was buying a new iPhone. I checked with WBAP.com and saw £331, so decided to post it for the extra £55. I was expecting a slight reduction for the battery from the online quote but I was offered just £165. £166 less! Less than half. They claim there is considerable wear to the screen and bezel. Even uploaded a video which clearly shows no issues! Now i'm struggling to get any response to get it returned. They will only respond to accepting the offer.

I should have listened to the negative reviews
I should have listened to the negative reviews. I was offered £144 for my phone. Sent it off. They have declared it "damaged" and offered £10. Other companies are offering £70 even in a damaged condition, which mine certainly wasn't. Avoid like the plague. I suspect I am now going to have a fight on my hands to get my phone back in the condition I sent it in.
Edit - I have already provided my ID via the feedback request & I have also emailed requesting my phone be returned to me in the condition it was sent in but have not received a response. For obvious reasons I don’t want to post the ID publicly & I am sure you have enough information available to find my details in your system.

Misleading Initial Valuation - Massive Reduction in Offer
Misleading Initial Valuation – Massive Reduction in Offer
I checked the market for selling two iPhone 15s (one Pro), both in excellent condition. Apart from very minor general wear and tear and a few barely visible screen scratches, both phones were fully functional. The cameras worked perfectly, and neither phone had any chips or cracks on the screens.
Webuyanyphone initially offered me £792 for both devices, so I decided to send them in. After waiting quite a while for an update, I was shocked to receive revised offers of just £166 and £155 for the two phones.
That's a reduction of £471 from the original quote.
I understand that final valuations can sometimes be adjusted after inspection, and I expected there might be a small decrease due to the minor cosmetic wear. However, nothing about the condition of these phones justified such a dramatic reduction.
The initial quote feels designed to get sellers interested, only for a much lower offer to be made once the devices are in their possession. Thankfully, I had both phones returned and was able to sell them elsewhere for considerably more than what Webuyanyphone offered.
Based on my experience, I would not use this service again and would recommend that others proceed with caution.

Excellent service and full payment as promised!
Last week I sold my Galaxy S24 to WeBuyAnyPhone, and I couldn't be happier with the experience.
My phone was in pristine condition. The only reason I decided to sell it was because the 256GB storage was no longer enough for my needs, and I wanted to upgrade to a device with more memory. Before choosing them, I compared several resale services, and WeBuyAnyPhone was offering the best price.
I have to admit that I was a little hesitant at first. I read a number of online reviews beforehand, and some of them were not particularly encouraging. However, I decided to give them a chance, and I'm very glad I did!
The entire process was seamless. They provided a shipping label and clear instructions for sending the phone via the Post Office. Throughout the process, I received regular updates, including confirmation that my parcel had been received and information about how long the inspection would take.
The assessment was completed within two working days. Then they confirmed that the condition of the phone matched my description. I just received the full quoted amount without any deductions.
Based on my experience, I suspect many of the complaints about reduced offers may come from inaccurate device assessments. It's easy for people to overlook issues such as battery condition or other technical faults that professional testing can identify. So, be honest and realistic about the condition of your phone, especially if it has been in use for a few years. In my case, the phone was still relatively new and in excellent condition.

Scam artists
Offered £115 (plus £10 to join the not great value Evolve club) for an iPhone 12 mini. In perfect condition. It had recently been replaced by Apple as during a repair they broke the screen and broke the mobile antenna. After WeBuyAnyPhone received it I was offered just £45. They say it had 'light wear' on screen and 'noticeable wear' on rear and bezels. They also sent me a video of the phone being inspected, showing the shiniest most perfect phone with no damage or marks on it at all. So is 'light wear' un-noticeable? And is noticeable wear barely visible to the human eye? Avoid them and sell anywhere else. MusicMagpie seem a good alternative. I also found after asking them to return the phone they expect a £10.95 fee to return it. I see in another review this seems legally dubious and that others users often have a free return. I note that MusicMagpie wil return your phone for free if you decline their offer.

First time I was offered half selling…
First time I sent my different model iPhone in about a year ago theses jokers offered half selling price.Gave them the benefit of the doubt second chance yesterday my iPhone 13 only used for two months I used option working offered £208 fair price when they finished inspection this changed to didn’t fit good inspection to a reduced pretty good £123 decrease I believe all checks completed video shows no faults it went down to £80 second offer what a liberty as nanna would say £85.what a cheeky lot steer clear of these players.😒😒😒😒😒😒 ever one star review on this site practically reads the same webuyanyphone more like we make every excuse not to pay.😁. I guess this will now be taken down because I left a poor score let’s see i will keep future customers updated.I believe their reply will read “sorry you didn’t appreciate our offer it didn’t meet your expectations”
This company is suspicious they have a standard reply after asking Trustpilot to take my review down everything is repetitive and I believe that there 5 star reviews are completed by family friends and acquaintances steer clear thieves
Send more details as agreed below on your standard reply copy move paste what a joke of one man band check offer £80 for a iPhone 13 sell for a minimum of a £185 see their site can’t miss it first o search engine hmmmmmm wonder why perhaps dishonest marketing. If you want to sell your phone go to a genuine company not this joker TTFN.

Don’t trust the prices they advertise.
Don’t accept their counter offer.
TL;DR - you get a much better price from Music Magpie.
I sent my phone off which had been in a case for 3 years and, to me, looked in pristine condition. The price advertised on the website was £250 plus a £15 bonus using an offer code.
When webuyanyphone evaluated my phone they said it had been downgraded from “good” to “pretty good” due to there being signs of wear despite passing all of the diagnostic assessments.
When I asked for the evidence of the wear, they sent me some photos with parts of the phone circled - none of which construed any damage or wear.
They first offered me £135, before increasing this to £145. I declined all offers and asked for my phone to be returned to me.
As expected, literally no sign of damage or wear when I inspected.
Sent it off to Music Magpie and they rated it top (“Excellent”) condition and sent me £205 on the same day.
Avoid webuyanyphone - sounds like they advertise big prices just to lowball you.
