The company operates as a fraudulent entity. They overestimate the value of the phone and subsequently breach their contractual obligations upon its shipment. They attempt to negotiate you down and find flaws where there are none. Avoid at all costs, don’t be a victim

Got price for iPhone 15 but there was an error so I went on chat. Found out they do not or cannot return phone to N Ireland they said post office don’t do returns and DPD don’t have an office here despite me telling them a driver lives next door. So I would have had to take a reduced price no doubt as I couldn’t get it returned. A complete scam but caught in time. Stay clear!!!

iPad hardly used but rejected by we buy any phone20/02/2025

Sent my iPad in and described it as excellent as hardly been used but they wouldn't even make me an offer on it due to scratches which I still cannot see after having it returned so unless its new out of the box and never used I wouldn't bother with them ever again. If they had revised the offer I may have considered it but they didnt.Avoid at all cost

I was offered £480.00 for an unused I Phone 14 Pro Max, which I accepted and sent the phone to them, a few days latter I got a revised offer of £340.00 stating there was wear on the phone, I spoke to their live chat and explained this was a new phone so could not possibly has any signs of wear, But they just said that I was being offered the value they put on the phone and sent it back to me, under no circumstances should you use this company, I have also posted this review on my company intranet which has a worldwide audience of over 20,000 staff

I was offered £360 then £130

I was offered £360 - upon receiving my phone which had been kept in an army grade otterbox case for the year I had it, they started the body was damaged and that the screen was scratched. The bright light they use show every imperfection, not something you can see in our daylight and I feel this is a tool they use to bring the value down. They revised my offer to £130. I had to go to live chat and ask for my phone to be returned as there was no obvious way to decline this offer, Live chat stated that I had to pay £10.75 for the return of my phone which I duly paid.
I feel like this is a patented way to get every offer down upon receipt, No second hand phone will be perfect so there is always a way to reduce a quoted price.
I would not use again and I wouldn't recommend

Update. They charged me £10.75 to return my phone to me. They sent it Royal Mail tracked 48 with signature. (Postie didn’t ask for a signature). This costs around £4.79 so they charged me twice the amount it cost to return.

Update : I returned to Music Magpie and got £300 no issues at all - so this proves my phone was in good order

This company does not honour the price offered online when selling phone. I was offered 40 instead of the online 125 euro offered, when I asked to return my phone instead they just pushed the transaction through and refuse to respond to any calls or emails since. Really disappointed with this company. I had several phones and they did not honour the value on any of them. Suggest avoiding

Rip off merchants

Rip off merchants. Sent a 6 month old phone, been repaired and refurbished by Apple, as good as new. They state not good condition. It was when it was sent. Customer service is non existent. I’ve asked for my second phone to be returned and this is only happening because I threatened to report it stolen if they didn’t send.

ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS AVOID AT ALL COSTS

ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS AVOID AT ALL COSTS! What an utterly dreadful company, I would give zero stars if I could! I sent my Iphone 12 to them in good faith with a projected valuation of £211 and a condition of 'good' only to be told it was classed as FAULTY simply because of a few scratches to the side of the casing. I was given a revised offer of £30 which I obviously rejected and told I had to pay £10.75 for them to return the device to me.

Just sent my iPhone to them, they showed that my phone had scratches. How can my phone get scratches when it has been a 360 case since the day I brought it, I know it had no scratches when I sent it.

I'd give them zero stars if it was an option ! This company are a bunch of scammers, no more or less. Avoid them and their service at all costs.
I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max ( 512gb model ). It is in immaculate condition and it was recently valued at £310 by a local trade store. However, WeBuy offers me £358, so I sent he phone to them. Once they'd recd it, I then got an email advising they revised the offer to £260, without citing any flaws on my phone at all ( I already know it's flawless ). I asked them to return my phone immediately. I've since sold it for the £310 offer I received prior to sending it to We Buy. Having looked at the reviews, this seems to be a constant tactic from We Buy - in other words it's intentional and they mislead on purpose. Disgusting company.

Scam, do not give them your Bank Details

I was offered £150 for my Mint condition phone over internet. so I sent them my phone and gave them my bank details to pay into. Once they had my phone offer dropped to £80, so asked to send my phone back.
2 months later they used my bank details without my permission to setup 2 direct debits, one for £9.99 for phone insurance and the other for £6.49 for cyber protection.
Looking on this review site this happens a lot, so be careful.

What a con

What a con!
I had 2 iPhone 11's in good condition.
One was perfect the other had slight scrap to screen. They quoted £150 for each.
The perfect one they offered me £67 once received although it had no faults.
The one with the slight scarp on screen £20!!!
Then I had to pay £10 to get them back!
Total con - don't do it!
Honestly they are con artists!
NOW IVE BEEN SCAMNED! THEY HAVE USED MY DIRECT DEBIT DETAILS TO SET UP A DIRECT DEBIT WITH CYBERSENTRY! £6.95 has been taken out of my account. Look on reviews for CYBERSENTRY it's all connected with webuyanyphone!

V poor experience. Almost brand new phone reduced by £100 trade in when sent and then trying to charge me over £10 to return my phone! Said screen scratched and sides scratched - I have video evidence before I sent. I feel like I am being conned here. Waste of time.

Payment received after a month

UPDATE: Got my payment for my phone eventually, this company needs to sort out their communication with customers.

Have been waiting to see if they will send payment before I give them a terrible review. Was hoping they would cone through but sadly not, after over 3 weeks of waiting.
I emailed maybe 4 times and last wed/Thurs was told I would get payment that Friday but sadly not the case.
After you send off your phone there is no communication at all, no tracking either.
When something seems to good to be true then it most likely is.
