The women were very very nice and funny , made you feel at home. I was worried because I'm a older person but they made me feel comfortable. Tara was my lady she was excellent in what she does .

I had the lovely Yasmin from the Southampton store help me find my dream dress. She was incredible from start to finish and explained everything in such detail to me about each dress. She understood my requirements and exceeded every expectation. Just amazing, so would 100% recommend her & the Southampton store & I walked away with saying yes to the dress. Yay!

Great friendly welcoming. Store clean and staff very welcoming. Was very anxious to start with. But Nina and Yaz made me feel so reassured and relaxed. I managed to find my dream dress, veil and accessories. Many thanks I can’t wait to marry the man of dreams now.

My experience with wed2be southampton was amazing from start to finish the lady who helped me choose all the right types of dresses to try on and was very friendly. I found my dress for my big day and im over the moon! Thankyou so much for your help.

The choice of dresses was vast and Libbi had the patience of a saint I tried my final dress on 3 times and not once did she make me fee uncomfortable or difficult. A pleasurable experience and yes I did chose my dress ❤️

As an excited bride-to-be, I visited the Southampton branch today hoping to find my dream dress. The store was operating on a walk-in-only basis, and we arrived at around 11am. We were told there would be approximately a two-hour wait and that I would be added to a waiting list. I was advised that I would receive text updates to let me know my position in the queue and when a consultant became available.

This wasn’t an issue at all — my entourage and I went to have lunch nearby while we waited.

As we approached the two-hour mark, we returned to the shop expecting to be called shortly. However, we then sat on the sofa and continued waiting… and waiting. By this point, it was 2:30pm. There were hardly any staff members available to ask for an update, and during the entire time we were waiting, we received no text updates, no communication, and no apology for the delay. No one checked in to see if we were okay, and we weren’t even offered something as simple as a glass of water.

I had hoped for a special bridal experience, but sadly I left feeling very disappointed. After waiting from 11am until nearly 3pm — almost four hours — we eventually decided to leave. It felt like a completely wasted trip.

If a walk-in system is in place, that’s absolutely fine — but there must be sufficient staffing and communication to support it. Unfortunately, the atmosphere did not feel welcoming, and my family and I left feeling dejected rather than excited.

I’m extremely disappointed, as this should have been a memorable and joyful part of my wedding journey.

Nina was absolutely AMAZING!!
She was so chilled and out with the millions of choices I chose to try, always helping. Safe to say I would recommend Nina 100%!!

Experience choosing dress was ok rather hectic too many people for amount of staff, lady we did get was very helpful with ideas and fit. Its shame couldn’t visualise the same colour dress in the sizes required.
Most disappointing was collecting, after all you pay you are issued with a cardboard hanger and a thin plastic bag not a proper dress bag

The team in Southampton were so helpful. They understood what I envisaged, helping me try on my dream dress, but also make sure it was my dream dress (we tried on other styles to challenge this).
I was over the moon to walk out feeling a million dollars. Thank you

Nina was the perfect person to find a dress with. She did endless runs out to the floor to find dresses and nothing was too much for her! She even held on to my dress for dear life so no one else would get my dress until I was sure I could buy it. Much love Nina absolute angel :)

The women in the shop were extremely helpful and made sure I tried on dresses that were slightly different to what I had asked for just to be sure I had found my perfect dress! They were knowledgeable about what alterations would need to be made and explained everything in depth. I was also given a list of local seamstresses who would be able to do the alterations which was extremely helpful!

I just wanted to leave a review for Nina and the whole Southampton store. I nervously attended on 12/01 - this was my first time trying on dresses and as a plus size bride I was incredibly apprehensive at what experience I would have. The store was so friendly as soon as we walked in and I was then assigned Nina. She was the epitome of professional and made me feel at ease. She instantly became part of the group and made it a whole experience. She clearly listened to me and my family, taking on board all my likes and dislikes, to help my find my dream dress! That was totally not what I expected. Nothing was too much trouble and she gave me so many useful hints and tips about everything from veils to alterations. I would really like it to be passed on to her how lovely she was and what a credit she is to your store. Thank you all for making me feel like a princess for the day!

I had the most wonderful experience today and couldn’t be more grateful for my bridal consultant, Tara. I went in not expecting to find my dress at all — I was really just hoping to get an idea of what styles I liked and didn’t like. From the very beginning, Tara was incredibly kind, patient, and truly listened to what I was looking for. She helped me narrow down what I loved so quickly while also encouraging me to try styles I wouldn’t have picked for myself.

Her expertise and calm, supportive approach made the whole experience feel so special and stress-free. By dress number five, I had found the one, which honestly still feels surreal! Tara made me feel completely comfortable and confident throughout the appointment, and thanks to her, I said yes to the dress. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend her to any bride-to-be.

The girls working in the shop were really great! And Abby in particular who helped me find my dress was so amazing, really helpful and bubbly so easy to get on with. I only tried on 4 dresses and number 4 was the one! Couldn't be more pleased Thank you so much!

Yaz was amazing and so patient with me as I am super fussy. She took in all of the information and delivered on all of the dresses that I tried on. She was upper friends and helpful! Thank you Yaz!

From the moment my sister and I walked through the door we were made to feel so welcome. Whilst waiting the staff kept us up to date with the waiting time and reassured us when it would be my turn! Yaz was absolutely brilliant about asking about what kind of wedding we’re having. Having established that we are having a very traditional wedding she had an idea of the type of dresses I might like. Trying on the three dresses was fun and Yaz gave me her undivided attention for about one hour. In the end I chose the first dress I had tried on! Yaz was so experienced and professional and was incredibly helpful with the whole dress buying experience. Thank you Yaz!
