Incorrect Item Delivered - Complete Lack Of Customer Service

28th January - Ordered 100 317mm vinyl LP stiffeners.

7th February – Emailed to say the vinyl LP stiffeners I had ordered had come but were the wrong size. Should have been 317mm but were 305mm, too small to cover the vinyl record.

10th February – I had not received a reply to my email, so I phoned. I was told the person I required was not available, but they would phone me back.

11th February – Phoned again as no one had called me back. Spoke to Louie who was helpful and arranged for the correct sized stiffeners to be sent again.

13th February – New delivery arrived but incorrect size of 305mm again. Phoned and managed to speak to Louie again. He said he would investigate and call me back by Monday 16th at the latest.

Monday 16th – Waited until 7pm and still had no update. Contacted Louie again who said he would check with the warehouse the next morning and update me.

Wednesday 18th – Still no update so contacted Louie again. No reply yet as of 8pm.

I would either like the correct stiffeners or a refund. How hard can this be?

All this time the 317mm stiffeners are still available to order on the website!!!

Absolutely terrible customer service from a company I have used a few times before without any problems. I’m afraid I’ll never be using them again and would recommend prospective customers to look elsewhere.

Happy with my purchases

Recently purchased a selection of carefully chosen boxes & packaging material to help with a planned house move. Cant fault their service, everything arrived as expected and in good time. I would certainly recommend these guys for domestic purchases to help with removals. Good choices, Good prices & swift delivery times. Moving house, use double wall cardboard only.

Never use this company

Never use this company, ordered on 21 a pallet of dual layer cardboard with delivery in 4 days, after 8 days i call them to tell me don.t have anymore in stock and will send me something else more thicker 7milimeters, i receive a poor cardboard 3milimeters thick after contact them try with a lot of shit reasons about them why are white if we send brown or is normaly to be 3 mill due to stacking. Avoid this company

Selling stock they don't have

I placed an order with them on the 30/12/2025 and the message at checkout said they wouldn't dispatch until the 5th Jan 2026

I contacted them on the 9th Jan as I had heard nothing yet. I received a message to say they were moving warehouse expect delays of 2-3 days.

I eventually got given a tracking number manually through the service desk which didn't work and subsequently received a bit of my order on the 14th of Jan with an excuse about courier issues.

On Monday 19th Jan I was promised the rest of my order was on it's way, it's now Friday 23rd and I haven't received a tracking number or the rest of the orer.

Avoid this company it appears they're selling stock they don't have and something has gone really wrong.

Lacking in basic customer service

Firstly, this is very much a genuine review and I am a genuine customer (unfortunately).

I made a purchase from Weedon on Monday shortly before 12.30 pm with a 2-3 day delivery. By Thursday afternoon I realised that I had still not received any delivery information so emailed them.

I received a reply at 17.26 to advise:

Thank you for ordering and for your email. We are just awaiting restock due in next week.

I immediately called and spoke to someone who advised that they realised on Monday afternoon after I placed my order that they didn't have enough stock! They then proceeded to tell me how they are moving warehouse etc, like that somehow is my concern or valid for not doing the absolute basic of communicating the issue with me.

Given that I needed the boxes on Saturday, I was then left with 1 day to try and find an alternative. They refunded my money but called back a short while later to advise that they had been able to locate enough stock to fulfill my order and would send it for delivery on Saturday morning but as they had refunded me, I would need to place the order again and pay. I mentioned a discount given the delay and was told that they would be losing money by sending it for Saturday morning delivery.

It is now 12.18 on Saturday and I have no delivery and have to go out this afternoon. The tracking shows that it is due to be delivered before 6 pm!!!
I contacted them when I saw this and they claim it's the delivery company who have messed up. Actually, no you messed up by taking orders you couldn't fulfill and then not communicating the fact and you have taken my money to boot.

I don't know how a business can lack such basics and take so little accountability. They have completely blown up my schedule and want to act like they are the victims. DO NOT USE unless you want to have your time wasted.

UPDATE: the delivery never arrived and I can't get alternatives till Thursday as I am not around at the start of the week, therefore I will be a WEEK late delivering to my client all because grown adults could not simply communicate!!!!!

Highly Unprofessional Environment and Disrespectful Management

I recently worked at Weedons in Cannock and had an extremely negative experience. The workplace environment was unprofessional, poorly managed, and deeply discouraging for new staff. Despite maintaining a pace faster than many of the existing employees, I was instructed to leave early by the supervisor, Georgina, who displayed unconstructive and dismissive behaviour throughout my time there.

The general working atmosphere appeared disorganised and unsupportive, with staff not being guided or motivated effectively. The treatment of employees, in my experience, lacked fairness, respect, and understanding. Additionally, I observed handling of products that raised concerns about care and quality control, which could pose risks to inventory for businesses considering contracts with this company.

In my view, the culture at Weedons does not reflect ethical or professional employment standards. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend working with or placing business through this location until significant improvements are made to staff conduct, management approach, and workplace environment.

Edit: Just had a call from sales management telling me to remove this review because I’m damaging their business.

For clarification weedons in Manchester just operate the online sales side of things, the weedons in Cannock is where the actual work is going on so it is important that future customers know the whole picture when deciding to do business.

There are many other company’s that do what weedons do and do it better. Choose them.

Great Product, Great Price and Great Communcation

Needed to change our packaging supplier due to inconsistency of delivery, poor communication and customer service, and after a few hours searching and digging on the internet l contacted Weedon.
Firstly it was so refreshing getting a call from a human being and clearly someone that wanted to find a way to get my business. Louie listened to my challenges on cost and delivery, then quickly came back to me with a competitive quote and a fast delivery time. Trust is vital for a small business and even though it’s early stages, l trust Louie and Weedon to deliver on their promises. Great Product, Great Price and Great communication, also love that they’re a UK Business too.

They used be good but not any more even…

They used be good but not any more even they are terrible service now days it's chaos customer Orderd sum items after 1 weeks waiting every day they said: our driver are on the Way but never arrived.
they are time waster I Don't recommend to any one.

Truly awesome dealing with Weedon Direct who go that 'extra mile'

Truly exceptional service. My company needed a specific packaging size not commonly available. Rather than turn me away as other companies had done, they said they would see what they could do ... and they did! Then they stayed in touch throughout the whole process - awesome! No ordinary business churning out goods and it may be online, but it remains personal and we are so impressed we are already loyal customers who will be back over and over again.

Great service provided by Weedon. I ordered boxes for the company I worked for and they were able to print company branding on the boxes too. Big thanks to Louie who communicated with me well and made the process smooth.
