I would give 0 stars if that were even…

I would give 0 stars if that were even possible… this is not a business, it’s a complete scam preying on people.

I purchased a car that broke down within just 3 months, and it was held for weeks with absolutely no communication or answers. I was refused even the most basic information about which garage my car had been taken to. The only response I received was a dismissive, “it’s an old car, what do you expect?” a shocking display of zero professionalism or accountability.

To make matters worse, Adam, the salesperson, was rude and abusive, which made the entire experience even more unacceptable.

On top of that, the MOT is carried out by their own company, which raises serious concerns about its reliability and integrity.

There is no care for customers whatsoever. Their only priority is taking money, with no regard for service, honesty, or basic decency. Absolutely disgusting.

Supposedly sold my car to this dealer

Sold my car to this dealer, he was supposed to pick it up but cancelled at short notice on the day after i'd come home early from work. The next day he texted at short notice and I couldn't make the revised time he suggested so arranged pick-up later that evening, instead of meeting me at that time he showed up early and couldn't be bother to wait so cancelled the deal. Rudely texted to blame me for not being there at the very time I had told him I wasn't going to be there. It could've been worse I suppose missing a sale is better than buying a car from someone like that.

Not happy with Welcome cars after sales services

Our experience with the company at the beginning was excellent i supposed with every company once they received the full amount of the car they didn't want to know and the car still under warranty and the abuse we had on the phone we asked for oue money back we were told to take them to court. The person on the phone should have his attitude check how to deal with customers they need to check all their cars makes sure its safe to drive and not stop in the middle of the road and they refused to see what's the issue was even though its still under warranty. Just be aware people before paying for your car you won't get any service after just abuse from them. Even though it has MOT the tyres were damaged and though they were AA aproved this car shouldn't even be on the road.

I would give 0 if I could…. This is not a business guys, it is a scam exploiting people.
Bought a car, broken within 3 months. Kept car for weeks without any answer. Wouldn’t give me detail of which garage the car was taken to. Basically his answer was it’s an old car, what would you expect. 0 professionalism.
Never prioritise costumer. All they want is money. Disgusting…..

Pleasant experience

Adam and his relatives were friendly and helpful. They stayed late for me so that I could do a test drive or two after work and helped me through each process of selling my first car and purchasing my second via finance with them.

Note, the car was said to be cleaned however the tyres were filthy and the water came off black at the car wash. I also found previous owners belongings in the storage compartment behind the drivers seat.

Be careful

So I bought a very nice BMW 11 months ago. A very nice M5 competition. A lovely car. The owner said if i ever want to sell it for any reason please give him first refusal. I find myself in a position whereby I need to change for something bigger as we are moving and this is a sensible deceision rather than a decision of the heart. So given that I have done my research and the car has basically almost not deprteciated at all in fact I can see slightly lesser spec versions on autotrader for 6k more than I paid..
Welcome Cars are offerring me £20k less than I paid 11 months ago.. What an absolute mickey take and a totally untrustworthy outfit as I can clearly see now.
Case in point I have now agreed a trade in value of 18K more than they offerred me which just cements what rip off merchant this outfit is....
Note. I actually also had a letter from Leeds police and DVLA asking to confirm the time I had owned the vehicle as it may have been used in a robbery ... Who knows... But obviously it was before I owned it....

Waste of time over a week

I have been looking for a car for my other half we were going to trade in and refinance, had the finance in place found a (car the 2 series BMW in blue on there site) contacted them to show the interest and to let them know we were financed and ready to go and would like to pick the car up at the weekend, which he said yes that will be fine if the finance company have everything in place, I called my finance company who said it wouldn't be a problem to get it sorted out for the weekend, so got the ball rolling now this is where the issues start, welcome cars didn't sent the paperwork they needed to and they also left the car to be moted on the Friday, which is never the best idea if a retest is needed we were told we would get a phone call at 4pm Friday to let us know what was going on, nothing happened no phone call we tried to call them but no answer we texted them nothing, my finance company were waiting to pay them out but as they didn't have the paperwork they needed from welcome cars they couldn't, so we though we wouldn't hear anything that eve so had a look on the gov. Website to see what the most issues were, this car still did have 3 months of not on it, the first things it needed 2 tyres and the second a cracked alloy wheel, what I find bad is I know this car has been with them a while, if a cash customer came in to buy this car and didn't ask welcome cars to put an MOT on it they would have been buying a car with illegal! Tyres and a cracked wheel which could lose all its pressure at anytime. I called welcome cars this morning and the car dealer I won't say his name just yet was just like he didn't care or even know we wanted to pick the car up this weekend, we told him we wanted to this weekend and so did my finance company, he then told me the car would he ready mid week, I asked him how he was fixing the most issues he responded with we will put 4 new tyres on at a guess these would be cheap non run flat tyres which isn't an issue but when I asked about the alloy a wheel which would be hard to find a matching one as the are M wheels was told it would be replaced, I'm thinking he would just go with the cheap way and getting it welded, which I would not expect a car with welded alloy wheels as only certain cracks can be welded and I still would not drive any car with alloys that have been welded it's just a time bomb, so now we have found ourselves looking for an other car from somewhere else and this has been a massive waste of time, we had even sorted out the change of insurance as we had no indication we wouldn't be picking up the car at the weekend which was at our cost, so unless welcome cars fix this car to a high standard and do something to make myself and otherhalf happy and that we haven't wasted so much time to sort a deal out I must say with what's happened to us steer well clear of welcome cars.
I also have a you tube channel which I do reviews on and I will be reviewing this experience on there.
