I was sceptical at first but Selva makes a big effort to be transparent. You can see all its tree planting invoices so I know where my money is going and the team have been very quick and open with responses to some questions I had. I really feel that these guys are legit.

Offsetting my emissions with Selva was incredibly simple. It only took a few minutes to calculate my footprint and then set up the subscription. The projects are laid out clearly with plenty of info on where your money will end up. In the past I’ve found this stage quite confusing with other similar providers like Ecologi.

If ever there was a website that was truly engaging, accessible and informative, Selva is this. A subscription model carbon offsetting business building momentum and making change through collective participation and minimal effort and cost for the user, I urge you to take a look and spread the word. The founders have a clear vision which is excellently spelt out on the site.

These guys are ones to watch - they are taking on a huge challenge but are not afraid to start from scratch. It is both easy and affordable to help and this is crucially important for the future of our planet.
