Well their service was great until year…
Well their service was great until year 2. I have to take responsibility for not reading their contract. But the contract has VERY steep penalties.
First I didn't know that I was automatically being re-enrolled every year. And once I received my bill and tried to cancel, they told me that I was committed for another year of over $3000. The only thing they could offer me is an early cancelation fee of over $1500 plus the amount of my 2-month bill.
Finally I never got any clients from their service that I know of. So in San DIego, I wouldn't recommend WW.
Good People, Terrible Business
The only reason this is a 2 star instead of 0 stars is because of the people I dealt with throughout who were very responsive and accommodative. Otherwise this is a massive case of over promise and under deliver. There's a reason they lock you in for a full 12 months. They know you'll want out sooner.
I went above and beyond and sent each monthly contact a personal card. What did I get for my time effort and money? 1 contact in 12 months. I've never seen less effective marketing efforts.
Also I got back on average 7 of my cards each month with bad or incomplete addresses and a few people told me the information was outdated by years. I had to get them to refund the bad names I knew about which they did but only after I asked/insisted. They know what comes back and good, honest service would credit bad names automatically.
At the end of the day, my experience was a highly negative one. They took my money and ran without having to deliver any results over a 12 month period. Not all industries are the same but this is one of my biggest marketing regrets so far.

Do not waste your money
This is the most overpriced, worthless marketing Ive done in the past 25 years. NOT 1 CALL/EMAIL/CLICK = NOTHING!
I found the same info plus emails and phone #'s for 10 cents/name... thats 10$ vs $500... absolutely worthless

Miserable experience with this company
Miserable experience with this company. When I first learned about their story, I was really excited. I pressed hard to become a community representative. I very quickly rose to the top ranks of the company's sales leaders. Then, I began to receive calls from my clients. Every single one of them was frustrated. Not a single one experienced positive ROI from their investment. The company's response was to say, "We don't guarantee results." I ended up personally paying the balance of their monthly fees for the remainder of their annual commitment. It cost me tens of thousands of dollars to retain my clients' trust. Really expensive, but worth keeping my solid, trusting relationships with them.

I have found a new veterinarian around…
I have found a new veterinarian around the corner from my home, when they asked what I did the office manager over heard me say I just started with the Welcome Wagon and she came over and asked if I could meet with her after I registered my dogs. When I sat down with her, she said they are under new management and that the Welcome Wagon was the most successful advertising they ever did; could I come back to meet with owners so they can sign up in my neighborhood. That is good business! The WW may not work for all but it certainly does work for many...

I received my packet from Welcome wagon today in the mail. Was very disappointed when I opened it up and all I did was benefit them. Not one thing in their benefited me. I remember the day when Welcome wagon gave you something. This Country has become so selfish and money hungry.

Waste of money we gave it over a year
Waste of money we gave it over a year. I don't think we got a single lead. So $$$$ for 0 prospects.
Asked to cancel they told me we have automatic renewal for another year. Did not mention a termination fee or way to cancel just said we have to stay a year. I will be fighting any fees.

Wrongity wrong wrong. Misinformation central for profit.
They sent me a booklet with the wrong "local" DMV (across state lines!) and my wrong "local" school board. I attempted to contact them to inform them of this and they were dismissive ("we aren't the DMV" no lol, I get that you aren't oh ye illustrious "welcoming" company).
Definitely not buying from any of the advertisers they sent in their lil misinformation booklet as this is not the behavior of a reputable company.
[edited 2/4/25: Hey WW, thx for the nice-sounding reply, but I already spoke with a senior customer service person at your company in mid Nov '24 after you saw my similar review on Yelp and got a sad; I told this person exactly what the company needs to do to make this right (print a corrected booklet and send it to me), and well what do you know, it's early Feb. '25 and y'all have not done it. Your reply now appears an attempt to get this review taken down now that it's been a bit since I wrote it and interacted with you and may have forgotten it or no longer wish to play this game... also it's pretty rich that your little reply says "reach out to us" and then SPECIFIES NO WAY TO DO SO and it's not like your website is any help (that's how I got rudely dismissed before). Lol do better. Anyway I do wish to keep playing, and I have receipts, WW. Contact me again if you want about "identifying my experience" but I'm not taking the review down without you actually fixing your mistake (not just saying pretty words that you never bothered to say back when I was just a regular old Joe contacting you about a glaring mistake cuz I hate misinfo being mailed to me and my neighbors actually). The previous email was from a senior muckity muck on 11/18/24 and I spoke with her by phone soon thereafter... she had "senior" all over her job title and voice btw. She wanted me to take my Yelp review down just by her say-so that they'd make it right; I refused and said a reprinted booklet WITH CORRECT INFO would do. Haven't received said booklet. Your play.]
[Further update 5/8: I am keeping my review at 1 star, and consider the matter closed. I appreciate the attempts to address the concerns, but while you managed to (eventually. after sending the wrong one again oops) send me a revised booklet that doesn't assert my "local" DMV is in the wrong state, the newest one now says that my "local" government is a city I do not and have never lived in. (And calls my local Parks dept something it is not in fact called. Apologies to Leslie Knope & co but it's not Parks & Rec 'round here.)
When I pointed this out, you only told me that your zip codes are not that specific and that people sometimes shop outside of their immediate localities. This is severely not my problem. If you're trying to raise your "local" cred by giving "local" links, they ought to be accurate. This has nothing to do with whether businesses from outside my immediate area are advertising in your booklet -- I have no problem if they do and I often shop outside of my immediate area. I just don't want or need someone sending me a "helpful local links!!!" page which basically says "your local government website is X" when I LIVE IN Y, NOT X and X is therefore not going to be interested in helping me with anything as I do not vote, pay taxes, or do anything else that has to do with being a citizen NOT a customer over there. (I know. Being a citizen must be a funny idea for a company that only cares about their bottom line, but it still matters to me who picks up my garbage and who I vote for to represent me locally.)
Anyway I've wasted enough time on this - tldr WW made a pretense of trying to fix this issue and eventually acknowledged that telling a Pennsylvania resident that their "local" DMV was in Delaware was probably not a great look, but at the end of the day the company doesn't care to up their game to actually be helpful if you're a family that just moved to the neighborhood -- they just want the vibes, plausible deniability and pretense. And, well, $$.]
