This is one of those Chinese companies that ships substandard products then tells you you must pay the international shipping back to China or only get a 25% refund. It is pretty much a scam. I wish I... See more

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. I ordered a jacket and it took 3 weeks to arrive. When it arrived it was too small and the material was flimsy and cheap. You could actually see through it and it was supposed to be linen. Although the website states returns are easy, it has to be sent to China even though the return address is New Jersey and postage is not covered. I had to send them several photos and the same explanation in 8 emails before they even approved the return which is actually 25% of the original purchase price because I opted to not send back to China because of the high cost and I donated the jacket to charity. Too embarrassed to give it to friend or family member because of very poor quality. Waste of time and money.

Fraudulent seller

Fraudulent seller. Sends very obvious low quality knock offs that look nothing like the photo. I ordered a Waldorf doll and got a totally fake knock off doll.

If only I could leave zero stars

If only I could leave zero stars. No communication, no tracking information, nothing. I’m disputing with my cc company. And yes, they are lying on the internet about their trustpilot rating. SCAM!!! Wish I would have come to trustpilot first!

Scam: Cheap items, lies about materials

I paid just under $90 for a shirt and a vest that together were worth perhaps $8. The shirt was supposed to be linen and cotton and arrived looking cheap with a label showing 95% polyester and 5% elastane. The vest is laughably horrible, extremely poorly constructed, and looks absolutely nothing like the image online. The company does not even offer return options. It is typical of these scam marketers to never include anything in the packaging except the cheap items that they trick people into buying. Caveat emptor.

Do Not Purchase From Here

I specifically checked the website's return policy prior to ordering, and it indicates no-hassle returns. My item came, it's WAY too small, there are no tags or anything on it, and when I looked into how to do a return, I have to send it to CHINA at my *OWN* expense (which will, no doubt, include tariffs/duties) - and only *after* the return has been received will I *possibly* get my money back. It is extremely disingenuous to have a NY name, a NY business address, etc. when not, in fact, a NY business. I knew something was dodgy when it said it shipped from NJ but then went through customs, and "international security" before coming to me - two states away.

I bought a $50 shirt on their website…

I bought a $50 shirt on their website order 1235 and received a shirt too small and the tag was cut out of the shirt. I sent multiple emails asking to change for a larger size. no response. I had to get Visa to do a charge back.

Bought two pairs of shoes

Bought two pairs of shoes. They appear low quality and have a *very* strong smell. Neither pair of shoes fits- both are too small. I have sent multiple emails attempting to return and have recieved no response in roughly two weeks.

Avoid them. They're taking orders but not delivering.

TL;DR: WeldNewYork are accepting online orders even though they're going out of business. In my case, they've accepted the order, not emailed the promised confirmation but have been giving me the runaround when I attempt to sort out the problem by email.
AVOID THEM.
Now I'm trying to get the charge reversed on my credit card but if they're closing their store (due to bankruptcy?) who knows if I'll ever see my money again.
Worse: TrustPilot reports that they're incorrectly using TrustPilot's approval notices.
Worse: There are other sites that show the same merchandise, exactly the same site, just under different names. But if you scroll down to the bottom, you'll also see that their "store" is closing.
RAINWICK is one of these pseudo-sites.
Seriously scummy behavior.
