Avoid this company at all costs

I bought a Samsung that I then exchanged for a Grundig washing machine from Welhof, and it arrived in terrible condition, one of the feet was completely damaged, making it impossible to adjust or stabilize the machine. Now, after only a few uses, it’s even starting to leak during a wash cycle.

When I contacted customer service (well within the legal 14-day return period), they refused to take it back. Their only “solution” was to send it for repair, leaving me without a washing machine, instead of simply accepting responsibility and issuing a refund for a defective product.

This is unacceptable. A store that sells faulty appliances and refuses to honour basic consumer rights should not be trusted. Save yourself the frustration, buy elsewhere from a company that actually respects its customers and the law.

We ordered a washing machine and we chose the service to come upstairs but the guy said I cannot bring it upstairs and I said what you want me to do and he said cancel ... I ve been trying to contact them 10 minutes now through phone because from WhatsApp is impossible to speak with a agent directly... dont order from there they are behaving as scammers, the delivery person was alone is a washing machine why to let one person to do that

Not a great customer service

Not a great customer service. They advertise that they pick up the old washing machine; however, when the man came, he did not do it. I have called multiple times now, and they always say they will get back to me, but never have. Now, I cannot get anyone on the line anymore. I wrote their WhatsApp and there is 0 response. We emailed them once, and they wanted to charge us 25 euros for removing it, although it was included in our purchase.

My experience with this company has…

My experience with this company has been disappointing, and I do not recommend it. The service and communication have been poor throughout.

I ordered a refurbished refrigerator and washing machine. On the first delivery, the washing machine was leaking. The second one didn’t work at all. It wasn’t until the third attempt that I finally received a functioning machine.

The refrigerator arrived missing the back legs, which makes it unstable. I tried to exchange it for a slightly more expensive model, but was told I’d need to pay an extra €25 just for delivery — something I didn’t agree with.

Long story short, I’ve been left with an unstable fridge and no option to return it. Overall, very poor quality control and customer service.

AVOID Welhof - Month-Long Nightmare, Faulty Products & Unfair Costs

My Welhof dishwasher purchase was an absolute disaster. What should've been simple became a month-long saga of frustration, significant extra costs due to multiple faulty appliances and their refusal to compensate.

The first dishwasher had a defective rear leg, making installation impossible without extra work. This immediately cost me €125. Welhof offered an exchange, but removing the installed machine and reinstalling a new one would incur another €125, totaling €250 for installation alone—more than half the dishwasher's price. I asked for a fix or compensation; they flat-out refused to cover any installation costs, citing their T&Cs and suggesting I "adjust the legs myself."

They then offered a meager €20 goodwill discount, which I ultimately did not accept because I couldn't accept a faulty machine. I insisted on an exchange. However, the "replacement" machine was also faulty, lacking both rear and front legs! This meant my plumber had to visit three times in total, racking up €250 in installation fees (which should have been €125).

I contacted Welhof again, detailing the month-long ordeal and the €250 wasted on installation due to their faulty products. They again refused to compensate for these costs, only refunding the €160 price difference for the machine exchange. They acknowledged the "inconvenience" but offered no practical solution for my incurred losses.

Welhof sent two faulty dishwashers, costing me over €250 in avoidable installation fees and a month of stress. They refuse to take responsibility, hiding behind their terms. Save yourself the hassle, money, and frustration – do not buy from Welhof.

Stay Away from This Website – Misleading Product Descriptions!

I purchased a washer-dryer combination from Welhof’s website. The item was listed as new with only a small scratch/dent on the door. However, when it arrived, I was shocked to find it had multiple scratches and was clearly a used item — not new as advertised.

Despite this, I decided to give it a try, but unsurprisingly, the machine didn't work properly and made a lot of noise.

In my opinion, Welhof is not a scam, but they are definitely misleading customers. They advertise products as new (with minor cosmetic issues), but what you receive may be second-hand or broken — and yet they charge close to the price of new items. Unbelievable.

You cannot trust their descriptions.
STAY AWAY from this website!

Don't bother, disrespectful shop with delivery issues

First time I ordered a fridge which came by without any issues, then I ordered a washing machine and everything went downhill in a second. I got a day free for delivery day, sitting by a big window next to the main street with my phone waiting for a call and for a bus to arrive then all of a sudden I recieve a mail saying "oh, you weren't home, here's the picture of your front door, we'll arrive another date", which sucks because first of all the "picture of front doors" wasn't even a picture of doors but more of a back of a fridge or some kind of electronic device. I've been also told by them that my number wasn't put out correctly which is why the driver couldn't contact me, they set up another date for delivery, two days later. I took another day free and waited. Around 11:08 I get a call from a driver telling me he's at my address but again, I don't see the car trough my big window so I ask him for address and it's not even the same country!! Again, waited for this bullshit delivery just to be told via mail that they're sorry but my address this time didn't come through which is pathetic considering my first order came in without an issue, now I cannot even contact their customer service cus they ain't got one, WhatsApp customer service won't answer you properly but in 2 hour gaps between each message, I cannot even put out my own date of delivery cus their site won't read my postcode as the correct one, saying it's too short (i live in Belgium), horrible experience, it's not worth it your time, find someone more reliable and more responsive to the client, with all respect, the guys at Welhof don't know what to do, clearly they're doing it with no respect to the client.

The company is unprofessional and…

The company is unprofessional and unethical.. the guy who brought it left the washing machine when I opened the door and he left without connecting it and he lied to the company that I said I will connect it on my own.. I asked them to bring someone to do it and they said they will do it if I paid them extra for the connection.. STAY AWAY FROM THEM THEY ARE SCAM and also the washing machine is not good

Disappointment

For me, this store is a complete disappointment. In 2023, we ordered a washing machine there, which broke down after about two months. We had a huge problem contacting the store, and to this day, our customer account on their website is not working for some unknown reason. We also had to wait a very long time for email responses, and when they did reply, the answers were vague. Eventually, the washing machine was replaced in December 2023, but now, at the beginning of the year, it broke down again. The store only responded by saying that it’s not their problem because the warranty has expired.

Fraudulently sell you defective…

Fraudulently sell you defective products as ‘refurbished’. My washing machine came with scratches all on the top, delivered by a very moany Italian engineer who refused to move it upstairs, despite me clearly requesting it on the website. Had to ask my friend to move it with me whilst he sat there and did NOTHING - guy should be fired for that alone.

The washing machine has a defective pump which they CLEARLY knew about yet continued to sell it anyway. That’s called fraud. I don’t know if the staff at Welhof are legally educated enough to know about that, but they will be soon when I consider legal options and they’re all out of a job. Clock’s ticking, lads! Provide me a WORKING REPLACEMENT IMMEDIATELY. Or I will see you in court.

Agreed to carry but refused when arrived

When we bought our new washing machine we choose Welhof specifically because they offer the carrying of the washing machine up stairs and the taking of the old washing machine down. Of course when they arrived they refused to do it! What a farce. Also no response to e-mails to customer service about this. Have now decided to return the machine as I can not use it in my entrance hall!!

Decided to buy a washing machine here…

Decided to buy a washing machine here and it was the worst decision lol. I can commend them for such a variety of assortment, you know the choice is truly big, but there are less chance that you will be able to find something quality even though paying a lot.

Ofc, Miele, Bosch and others are very expensive and quality, but i decided to buy something from a very low segment and I would def better not eat for the whole year but buy Miele here. It's just a joke but then one I bought was broken on the second day with an error that couldn't be found in the manual, lmao. I am disappointed, guys.

Great customer service

Welhof was happy to replace my faulty machine (bought from them) within a few days. Even though the first refurbished machine I bought was not without problems, the replacement was handled well.
