Wenzals Bournemouth is Horrible.

Wenzals Bournemouth Horrible.. 1st time and it was awful, had to wait for the girl to finish texting and my order of a breakfast bacon roll, rock hard bacon pressed down roll and looked like it was made yesterday. Contacted CS and not much of a response..

Poor quality factory made food

The staff are lovely, no issue with them at all. But the food quality is awful for the price. The chicken and bacon sandwich used to be good with real chicken and bacon, now it's just cheap minced sandwich filler obviously made at a factory and it's not even cut in half anymore. The chicken wrap is again a tiny smear of minced chicken and mayo (placed in the middle to give the illusion of a full wrap) with a load of lettuce, the tiny amount of chicken is only in half the wrap. I wouldn't mind so much if the price had dropped but it's increased.

One of the selling points was that it's made fresh each day, clearly not anymore. I can honestly get a better quality and much cheaper meal deal at the local supermarket now.

Skinny fillings pastry

Though the pastry case is of good quality, it lacks filling. I had the Jamaican Patty Pastry. It was more a flavouring than a filling. Don't mind paying a bit more for more filling.

Wenzel’s in Harrow on the hill

Wenzel’s in Harrow on the hill

Very bad and unprofessional staff. I came to collect my order from ToGoodToGo, the confirmation email clearly stated that the order could be collected between 17:15 and 17:30, I came to the store at 17:02 and was informed that it was already closed. I said that I came to collect the order, I was told that it was closed and that I would not receive the ordered goods and my order is already in the bin , I said that I should collect the order between 17:15-17:30, the people who worked there did not care, not only did I pay for the order but I also did not receive the goods, I left without my order.

Really Horrible

Wenzel's Southbourne.Really Horrible

Wow. I wasn't expecting much. And I didn't get much! Very quiet Sunday morning. I was ignored for nearly 5 minutes. He wouldn't even turn around to see me. Nor did his colleague. I left and bought a cold drink from the shop next door, came back and got ignored for another few minutes. Went to the Bakehouse nearby, but they were really busy. Back to dirty Wenzels. Still nobody in the queue, but still ignored. Finally he turned and just stared at me until I spoke. I was clearly an interruption he didn't want. Food was vile. Tea was cold. One of the worst experiences I've had. They don't deserve to be in Southbourne, they're just a million miles from being good enough.

Great customer service from Jyoti, Eastcote

Well done Jyoti (normally working at Yiewsley) for great customer service when me and friend ordered our lunch. Very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. You're a credit to your company. This was my first visit to a Wenzels, very impressed.

Excellent service.

I recently visited the Wenzal store in Harrow where I was served by Jyoti who is visiting from the Yiewsley branch.
This is a sales supervisor (well deserved) him who truly values customer service, and is an absolute credit to the Wenzal brand.
Polite, friendly and only to keen to help. Surely someone who is destined to move up the customer facing ladder, such was her enthusiasm to deal with me as a customer.
What an example to all others working in the retail sector!

Wenzels Staines

Made an online order for Wenzels Staines and most items never arrived, I asked the cafe and they reached out to Uber to request a refund and explain that they never sent the items to me, yet it's been 2 months and still Uber is refusing to refund my order. I had to go back and forth with Uber via messages and have asked multiple times for management at the cafe to pick up phone and call Uber Eats to request refund which doesn't look like they've done at all. It's completely unlawful and this experience made me not to consider them ever again.

Slug found in sandwich

We had ordered 2 platters and had them delivered. When one of our team members bit into one of the egg mayo sandwiches, a slug was found within the sandwich.
I immediately called the local store and advised them of this and they asked if the 'slug was green'? and if I could send them a picture. Which I did.
I heard nothing further back.
I then contacted the head office and was given the speel of how they take food hygiene very seriously and said that due to the size of the slug, the team would have noticed it during preparation and only if we had returned the product for them to carry out a detailed investigation would they have taken this more seriously.
Well, thanks a lot!
Won't be using Wenzel again...

Terrible Service

London Rd, High Wycombe Branch: The service is terrible and its mostly down to one main member of staff. Regulars will know who l refer to. She has no customer service skills and looks irritated and annoyed whenever someone places an order. She also has the cheek to air her thoughts and make sarcastic comments aloud for everyone to hear...extremely unprofessional. I used to think it was quite funny watching and listening to her interact with customers thinking someone would eventually bite back. It happened to me the other day and l didn't put up with her nonsense. I just cancelled my order and walked out and into starbucks next door. I don't understand why company's put plebs with no basic customer service skills in customer facing roles.

I use wenzels at least twice a day for coffee and snacks but I won’t be going back, they have just increased the price of coffee from £2.40 to £2.75 and a baguette now costs £4.50. Just another prime example of greed and blaming it on the cost of living crap
