My onboarding with Ellynne. I struggled at first and texted her constantly. She was so patient where I wouldn’t have been. Things have begun to get figured out and I’m finally getting some medical help. Thank you so much.

I had my onboarding walkthrough with Shamia White today and I couldn't be more pleased! She was extremely friendly, very professional and very helpful - I'm so glad to have her as my Client Coordinator. She covered everything thoroughly and made sure I understood it, which I really appreciated. Lukas Poprac did my initial call/interview and he was equally as friendly, thorough and helpful. Great first impressions!

Ellynne Witherspoon has kept my sanity in navigating my insurance after a move to another state. She responds within minutes to my inquiries to let me know she’s working on getting back to me with answers. We Share should bonus her for her professionalism and personal attention and knowledge she has of the system. A lot of people passed me along before I hit the jackpot with her. Thank you Ellynne!!

Elynne Witherspoon is my health insurance agent.
Anytime I have a question or a concern, she is quick to reply. That means a lot, since this insurance is still new to me and I’m still learning about it.

We are new to this coverage. We were told that our Hospital and Providers were in the plan. I just needed to change my OB this was not an issue.
Later find out that our Primary doctor and any hospital within 100 miles do not take this coverage. Pretty terrifying when you are in your 60's or any age. We are considered SELF PAY,
Right now, we are paying a monthly premium for NO coverage since no one takes this type of coverage.
I expect to have an issue with the OB when it comes time to go.
Update 3/76/26: We Share sent me two doctors to contact. One is in Prisma Health which does NOT accept this coverage. We would have to be self pay.
The other doctor is 192 miles away from where we live.
No information on a hospital that takes this coverage.
3/11/26 Prisma stats that it is not their practice to give patients CMS-1500 to submit. That did it once for the issue mentioned in your response but again not their normal practice.
If this was the case then the patient would be required to put all the payment upfront and then hope to get reimbursed by We Share all when paying a monthly premium to We Share.

My agent Ellynne Witherspoon goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. She listens to my needs and concerns and checks in with me regularly. She took the time to find me a doctor and even made the appointment with me on a three way call. She followed up after my doctor appointment and asked how everything went and is actively working on my specialist referral. I previously had Kaiser and they would never take the time to treat me with this much care and compassion. I feel like I have my own personal medical advocate. I would rate her customer service an 11/10!

For a Christian organization they are not honest. When we signed up we were assured our local hospital and associated primary care provider participated with WeShare. During the onboarding they said they just found out the hospital and doctor would not be participating as of January 1, 2026. I was left with online healthcare providers only. After two months feeling vulnerable with no local healthcare I called the customer service number. Was on hold 80 minutes waiting for a representative to answer. When they finally did answer and waiting another 20 minutes after being transferred, I told them I wanted to cancel. They tried to convince me to stay and wouldn’t take no for an answer until I told him we were lied to and had no local healthcare access. They then send you a form you need to electronically sign and send back which I did that day. I then got an email reply they had received my cancellation request but I may still be charged for the next month even though I gave them a full two weeks notice. Now I have an email saying they are going to charge my card and there is no way I can delete it, I tried. Not a very Christlike way to do business.
3/1/2026 follow up to review. I did receive a call and then a text from Peter asking to speak with me about my experience. Due to my work schedule I let him know I was only available on Friday and he asked me, "What time would be best for you tomorrow?" I replied almost immediatly with the best time for me including the time zone. I wasn't surprised when no call came, not at the time I had sent and no call or text all day. At least they are consistant and predictable.
3/11/2026 Peter sent me a text saying their phone system was having issues and he did not get my text response. We scheduled another call and this time we connected. He explained that since my review they have made changes in how they handle providers for enrollees. Now if there is no health care provider in your area they will work until at least two are found. They are also doing more training with their customer service representatives, adding more of them, and made changes in how cancellations are handled. The warning that, even though you have canceled you may still be charged the next month enrollment fee, he said was removed from the cancellation email and the automatic payment notification will not go out. I appreciate they are making an effort and hopefully other members will have a five star experience. Health care needs to change and if We Share can follow through with what Peter told me they have a good shot a making a difference.

If I could give no stars I would. I’ll just bucket point the issues here we had over 1.5 as members and the 2+ years since CANCELLING and they still have not finished certain claims.
1. Customer service- would not have record of our claim despite emails and letters from them
2. Had to track our claims ourselves with when we had to contract UHSM for updates or why the hospital never received the forms or payments.
3. Eventually demanded a manager instead of staff member to work out file. Still slow in ineffective.
4. Paid our portions through advise from them but then the hospital saying they never received any letters or communication from them. We had to be the mediator between UHSM and the hospital as they never called.
5. NO FOLLOW UPS OR COMMUNICATION nor do they record when you called or when others did any work on the claim.
6. Sent to collection on 5 different claims because of the previous 5 points and the hospital being gracious after we explained it is UHSM’s delay and fault because they showed our history of payments were always on time or in full.
7. Then they send us to their legal dept to help resolve the billing disputes 3 of our large medical bills, same issue as above but even harder to reach our representative for updates. They said it was closed 3 different times but the hospital received nothing nor any communication from them on file.
8. Lastly, we were told these 3 claims would be reached out to again after they said it was closed because the hospital never responded so the statutes of limitation was reached and we were not responsible for the cost. Hospital said they never received it but also they don’t do that, so UHSM/HST sent another letter which I signed and then said instead of us not owing anything else since we paid our $1900 in good faith for our portion, we owed $2300 instead of the remaining about $2700….
Called the hospital and they said they had not received or agreed to any new amount so UHSM/HST MADE UP THE AMOUNT WE HAD TO PAY.
All in all, do not even consider this company. We gave them grace upon grace, do all the work calling and organizing the information, went through financial stress and anxiety over what was days of total hours worked on these things, and in more considering just paying the remaining claims (3+ years old) myself to just be done with them.

I was misled and deceived by UHSM/WeShare.
For months I tried to resolve a hospital bill. UHSM assured me my portion of the hospital bill was $500.00
They continued to pull my monthly payments out of my account during the span of 9 months.
They shuffled me around from one dept to another. I believed that they were actually taking care of the issue because of their Christian values.
In the end UHSM paid a little over $700.00 of my 11,000.00 ER bill.
What I believe is they used those values to gain your trust.
They claim to be nonprofit. I don’t believe for one minute that is true.
This whole ordeal has caused me stress.
I am truly disappointed with UHSM/WeShare.
I hope I can stop even one person from going through what I went through.

0/10 Deceitful, slow & heinous organization
I explained exactly what I needed coverage for in the short term, they said no problem and after 2 months and several hundred dollars out of pocket I found out from a healthcare provider they don't even cover the one thing I needed coverage for (prescription meds). Stay away

Reply from WeShare Health
If I could give less I would. Just because you give the "Christain" disclaimer doesn't make the fact you are a sham any better. Customer service is very polite but offer little to no help with actually using the benefits. NO ONE EXCEPTS this coverage/benefits. May as well burn my $$. They promise vision, dental, medical, and Prescription coverage under UHSM but NO ONE excepts it. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE
