Lesson learned

After my experience with them, I now check reviews of any site before using. I don’t know why I haven’t done it sooner, but oh well. I was supposed to be charged $14 but was charged $40. They said I had checked off another thing that had lead to a partnered website to one that I was using which had caused that spike of a charge. Little do they know that I read everything I use carefully, even the terms of service because I am a nerd and need to know what I am getting out of it

Westbill.com the biggest scam I have ever…

This is the biggest scam I have ever seeing! Stay away. I was suppose to be charged $8.39, instead they attempted to charge multiple charges of $28.39, a charge of $99.39 went through. I have filed a fraudulent transaction with my bank. Hopefully I will get my money back.

Scam - stay away

Scam. They are thieves. If you buy a subscription, they will charge your card for random amounts in addition to any legitimate amounts. Coincidentally, these additional charges don't appear in your online account statement. I am having to do chargebacks for the amounts they stole. Stay far away from this shady company.

Westbill are sneaky and underhanded I…

Westbill are sneaky and underhanded I signed up to one site the transaction went trough okay I noticed that I had 3 transactions from westbill in my account turns out they were offers for trial memberships already ticked but the offers were at the bottom of the page under "complete transaction" button and to visible unless you scroll down I think this is a very sneaky way of charging people more money than they originally intend on paying had I not caught it I would have been charged £56.40 I cancelled the trial via their website but have not received an email confirmation, I took screenshot so I have proof but I know have to wait for that £56.40 to drop back into my available balance use another billing service if you can and make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom pages with them

This company is fraudulent

This company is fraudulent, simple as that. I signed up for one site, which came with a free trial for two other sites. After realizing I had not unchecked the trial options, I immediately went in and cancelled those trials. I have screenshots of all of this, and while the screenshots show that nothing was being charged to my account, I found that I was immediately charged a full months fee to these other accounts. When I contacted Westbill about this, they claimed nothing was ever charged. Looks like I may have to call a lawyer to get this resolved.

Signed up for a 2 day trial instantly…

Signed up for a 2 day trial instantly cancelled the trial and westbill has been charging me $40 for the last 8 months without allowing me to unsubscribe because I dont know which other 2 websites they signed me up for WITHOUT my consent as I unchecked the boxes at checkout

First off I think it is a bit sketchy…

First off I think it is a bit sketchy this site has a 2 star rating with 100% of their reviews being 1 star. Having said that I purchased a membership to a site that uses westbill as their payment processor and on the checkout page there were two checked boxes for additional website subscriptions which I was adamant to unchecked before checking out.
Those charges were charged regardless when I had explicitly denied consent to do so. The charges were also immediate when they both claimed to offer a 2 day free trial and after those 2 days the amounts of 28.87 and 39.87 would be charged.
This is a scam/fraud payment processor and I have not yet found a form of recourse as their phone is disconnected and their physical address is in Cyprus. I attempted to cancel both memberships within minutes of seeing what happened but am still waiting to see what happens with that. Since it is still within the 2 day trial period and they shouldn't have even charged anything they have no legitimate reason or verbiage in the terms of service that would allow them to legally keep the money.

Short version

Short version: Westbill WIL STEAL your money...

Long Version: I have joined and cancelled many Websites for years,,,with no problems...until Westbill. Long ago I learned to be on the look out for “ pre-checked boxes”, etc. Westbill kept on billing for multiple websites. The only way to get them to stop was to change my card. I am still working this dispute, my findings to date: The U.S. address listed is for a Virtural Office. Their REAL address is outside of the U.S. This company is yet another reason to use a “ Pre Paid” credit card product . It is the only way to limit damage.

When signing up they also sign you up…

When signing up they also sign you up to two other websites, for a 2 day free trial, then billed at $39.87 per month! It is on the page, but very eary to miss. There are no emails about what you have just signed p to and how to cancel!
Be VERY CAREFUL!

This company will cheat you

This company will cheat you. I was billed for a website subscription I NEVER ordered. My last two e-mails to them regarding this bogus charge have simply been ignored. I am in the process of filing a dispute with my credit card company. I will give the Trustpilot website address to them. The other reviews about Westbill's fraudulent billing practices can only help in proving my case.

Billed for no reason

Same than other comments, I've been charged 30$ twice for no reason, I never subscribed to any of the adult website listed, I never received any confirmation email, any receipt, any procedure to cancel what seems to be a recurring payment.
I contacted them by e-mail but I guess they won't reply.
I might have to ask my bank to block and change card.
I can't tell you to stay away from them, because I never made any payment with them, I don't know how they got my card number, unless another payment operator freely shared this.

Don't use that company

Don't use that company. I just had the same experience as Nigel Covington above, Westbill charges my credit card for something I never ordered, and never received. And when I requested a refund, they simply pretended not to know anything about the case.
It's a scam company. Take care !!

Westbill Cannot be Trusted with your Credit Card Number! Scam!!!

Westbill is a billing service found on several retail and adult sites on the web. After giving them your credit card information they will charge your card for items and services you did not order or request. I learned the hard way don't make the same mistake I did. This company responded to my request for a refund by sending me an email stating I had placed an order for a product I'd never heard of until I got their bill for it and started researching the fraudulent charge. My refund was denied.
