I did leave a possitive review, but have now had to change it for this one.
WEM Bodmin has let me down big time. Sold me a Citroen C5 Aircross with a known Citroen fault that Citroen knew about for well over 10yrs.
Its the drivers door open fault when its closed. The car wont let you drive off until I open it and shut it again. WEM has had the car back 5 times to fix it, and its still not fixed.
They are now ignoring my emails and phone calls, so I have had to put the complaint into the finance company, if this dont work, I will use a Solicitor under the sale of goods act.
Dont purchace a car from them as there customer service lets you down..
Saw a car I liked on the Garage's website so rang to enquire and spoke to a very helpful salesman, who handled everything very efficiently from going to see the car, test driving it, arranging for dash cam to be fixed ahead of collecting it, and on the day of collection, all the paperwork was carried out in a very smooth way.
I did not feel pressured in any way and was treated with kindness, courtesy and respect.
The whole transaction was fair and I am completely satisfied.
Having used West End Motors for many years we are again very pleased following the annual service and Mot on our Nissan car. Your staff as they usually are, are excellent they were very helpful. Problems were quickly sorted out and resolved. Very pleased.
Thank you very much,
Peter Anthony
I purchased a Honda Civic in February 2023 it was covered by Spotify guarantee for one year and included RAC cover. I recently contacted the service department with the intention of booking a service and MOT but first checked as promised when purchasing the car that if I had it serviced by them they would renew RAC cover. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when I was told they only did this for Vauxhall cars. I insisted I had been given false information when I was buying the car but was told I would not be able to receive the cover. I am considering further action to this false selling.
I collected my new nissan juke yesterday ....I cannot thank Craig, Nigel and the rest of the team enough.
Superb service from start to finish, Craig dealt with everything in a highly professional manner explaining the whole process and delivering the best customer service i highly recommend.
Extremely helpful and professional. Full after care support. Very friendly and welcoming. I had my car serviced here and I have to say the reception areas are exceptionally clean.
Had a major service on my Nissan Navara including brake fluid change - they gave a health check and discs and pads fine
- less than 3 weeks later had to have pads and discs due to a siezed part!!! They knocked the labour cost off (admission of guilt!) but I had to pay for parts which are twice the price of everywhere else - I will never use this garage again!!!!
Emailed on Sunday with a query about a vehicle. Received an email back 1:30 Monday to say the price had gone up due to a 'typo'.
Would give less than one star if possible. Don't go to this garage if you need a commercial vehicle. I bought what seemed to be a good used vehicle with a warranty, only to find a multitude of problems after purchase. I then find out, my warranty doesn't include a courtesy vehicle. That's ok though, I have been given a 10 year old Nissan Micra to carry all my 8x4 sheets in. I was going to consider purchasing a new vehicle from this garage but I would sooner drive up to Scotland for a van before ever considering these guys. Nearly a month to the date and I still have no definitive answer to when I will get my van back. I'm a small business owner and my van is used every day. You think paying a premium, you'd expect a premium service. I will now be seeking legal advice as to where I stand as quite frankly, I don't want this pile of junk of a vehicle back. Steer clear if I were you.
i phoned nissan on saturday 12th march about my nissans wheel lock nut. no one there so told to phone at 0800am monday which i did. he will phone you back was the answer.after 3-4 hours no answer, so live chat then , gave phone number.e mail and phone number . 8 hours later nothing as they want to know if i had car from them, etc the most unhelpful garage i know and would never deal with them at all.a job that probably would be 15 minutes but want a hours work at £100 per hour.why bother with people who never intended to help disabled person, never had any help from this garage in the past
Very poor after sales service. When I viewed car in March 2020 I agreed I would like a test drive which was arranged after it had a clean and valet. When I went back it had scratches on rear bumper which they promised would be dealt with as a subject of sale. It looked fine and went ahead with sale (very nice chap called Jon). First time washing the paint came off. Since then they were contacted twice and was told they would ring me to arrange to do a proper repaint job, I still to this day never heard anything. Other issues - last year's service/MOT was appalling. The service paperwork they gave me was blank and all wrong (didn't realise till I got home!) so had to collect correct papers. It went in to garage fully knowing that the rear windscreen washer wasn't working / blocked yet it passed MOT and nothing done about it so had to go back again. I'm not going to go on but too many careless issues considering they are suppose to be a well known reputable garage. They did offer me a free MOT this year but I have no faith in them whatsoever and have cancelled the third and final year of a service plan. Other friends who have bought from them have also said their after sales is poor. It is strange however to see that their 'selection' of reviews on their website are all good??? I now deal with my reliable original garage I've always been with.
I booked in for a minor service and MOT. I was told it would all be done within two hours. When I got there at 10.00 for the appointment, after driving 25 miles, they knew nothing about the MOT and the minor service wouldn't be ready until 5.30 that evening. No apology. The service without an MOT was to be £259. I took it to a non Nissan dealer and it was done for £138. Never use West End Motors, they are rubbish. I bought my Nissan new from them 5 years ago, I will never use them again and recommend nobody does.
