Western Dental in Turlock, CA is a horrible place. It's so hard to get a hold of anyone and when you're able to reach someone they don't know how to help or resolve your issue. I won't recommend this place to anyone. They truly suck.

Don’t t waste your time! Have an open denture case since October, now office puts generic note on the door saying closed permanently! Call customer service and they have NO IDEA we’re our case is or tell us what to do now!

I'm Glad I read the reviews. I was their today and they said everything was fine but I should get a deep cleaning even tho my gums are fine but at age 72 I should get it to get the plaque out .And I agree but they wanted 900 dollars .So I came home and checking and just doing the bottoms should be 400 at the most.

Robert Thomas. I recently had my partial top plate replaced with a full denture plate. Dr.Ambach and his team did a very good job in helping me with this process. Dr.Ambach was very patient in helping me select teeth size and coloring.Once we received the denture plate, he was very helpful in fine tuning,grinding and polishing until the plate felt perfect to me.I am very satisfied with the professional service I received from Western Dental. Dr.Ambach and his staff were very courteous and friendly.This made my dental experience very pleasant.I highly recommend Western Dental.

bad: all new trainees:1hr for a molar extraction then they tried to sell me jay bone graft at my cost. thay ground out a lot of jay bone and tried to sell me repairs on the jay bone. " DON'T USE WESTERN DENTAL"

They try to extort money from you by telling you one thing. Everything was approved through medical 0 cost. They call 1 day before procedure and tell me it's going to cost $500 because bone graft there is a special buy one get one free . I get to office next day feel paperwork out and get ready for payment Arizabeth tells me it's $1049. I said I was told 500 the February special. She said she never told me that which is a lie. I said if you record conversations for quality assurance please listen. I waited for manager to come in Dave and told him everything he agreed it was wrong but would not honor what was said. Horrible practices no communication in office they just try to get your money.

Unprofessional Conduct by Dr. Ambach at Western Dental in Hemet CA

I recently visited Western Dental for a dental appointment, and while the service began positively with a nice and efficient x-ray technician and a professional first dentist who gave my diagnosis, my experience took a turn for the worse when the placed me in the care of Dr. Ambach for a teeth cleaning.

Upon meeting, Dr. Ambach introduced himself and asked how I was. When I returned the question, his response was unexpectedly negative and delivered in an angry tone, “ not very good “ During the preparation, he continuously mumbled out loud in frustration about not having an assistant, which made me feel uncomfortable. His demeanor was agitated and his handling of the equipment was rough, culminating in a moment where the suction device fell from my mouth .This visibly exacerbated his anger.

Feeling uneasy and concerned about his angry unprofessional behavior. I chose to leave and seek dental care elsewhere. There was no way I would let this bitter angry man anywhere near my mouth. Despite another doctor's offer to replace him, I was too upset to continue. As I’m walking out I can still hear him angerly complaining to the staff saying “Great , I’m getting blamed because not giving me an assistant.” Dr Ambach's conduct, especially his open venting about staffing issues and rough treatment, was alarmingly unprofessional. It was the most significant display of unprofessionalism I have ever witnessed in a healthcare setting.

This experience has left me deeply concerned about the standards maintained at Western Dental in Hemet. A patient's comfort and trust are paramount, and Dr. Ambach's behavior severely compromised these. I hope this feedback helps the clinic improve its service quality and address the issues in patient care. Shameful!!

Bad malpractice, and, intended to be painful in a bid to extract payments beyond coverage by insurance payment. Undoubtedly used on many others as well. Date is not accurate..July 1st , 2022. Fault in this software. Any lawyers wanna help with demand letter. ? I can use by myself, but might getter done faster with licensed lawyer. And maybe we'll get WD to stop malpracticing. Thanks. Am suffering real pain and health is being damaged..digestive issues.

I've never come across a more unproffesional company. The dentists are mediocre at best. They flat out lie about costs when you make appts. Made an appt for my son to have wisdom teeth pulled. They lied about putting him under and do only local aenesthetic. Appt for 2:15, was nearly 2 hrs before being called back. Stay away from Western Dental, I beg you.

Avoid ANYTHING to do with Western Dental or the benefits program offered by your employer!! Your dental needs WILL NOT BE TAKEN CARE OF IN A TIMELY MANNER! You get the runaround and the offices and service centers are HORRIBLE! I'm so sad that I chose this pitiful dental plan. Can't wait to get out of it.

Worst customer service EVER! I made a Major purchase for a replacement upper denture ($4900.00) with a dilivery date of November 29th Now they say December 21st. Doesn't do me any good when I have a 35 day business trip on 12/18/2023 and am unable to speak with a crapy loose temper denture they provided.

THEY KEEP YOU ON HOLD FOR 15 MINUTES BEFORE THEY DISCONNECT YOU!!! I HAVE CALLED AT LEAST 65 (THATS sixty five TIMES) and gotten the office one time. Waisted almost 10 hours on hold Why put someone on hold for 15 minutes every time you call just to say the office is busy (Then they say good bye and disconnect you. Thank god they have a great surgeon Dr. Westover. To sum up Great surgeon WORST Customer service

Just like allot of other reviews. I am not pleased with this dental office. The doctor was very unprofessional as well as her assistant. I think they are only at the location I go to on certain days? Maybe some type of specialist. The office staff at front desk is very nice and professional. But the total opposite with the doctors I dealt with. No professionalism. The specialist was literally hammering away at my mouth it was brutal. I walked out of there with blood covering my whole mouth and cheeks. They let me drive when I felt I shouldn't have been driving at all and had to pull over. I already have a fear of the dentist and now it's even more so. My dentist before was amazing but he doesn't take my insurance. So I guess this is a good reason why the better insurance is a better experience. So disappointed, I felt as if I was treated like a sub human by the butcher dentist

I had X-rays been done at it's been 2 weeks ago when I have my appointment. they do not record any information on someone's been there not for their appointment. I have an app Receptionist with bad attitude - Beyond the Reception Desk appointment with a lousy I noticed that the patients have to wait on the in their chairs dentist stall very unsanitary.
how rather go somewhere else other dentist.

BE WARNED-Going to the Los Angeles Soto St location was like going to a restaurant, seeing you waiter for 2 minutes, placing your order for a hamburger, having the busboy come and explain how much the appetizer, lobster and dessert are going to be then asking how you are going to pay for it. leaving 2 hours later without any of the food. They are BIG on the UPSELLS here. BE WARNED

Western Dental has the most lying, unprofessional staff and office I have ever dealt with, yesterday when I was there, they at first said they had no trace of an apt, had confirmed my apt three times by phone !! This is their favorite shtick or they try to say you made an apt as a new patient, they did that the last time. The male receptionist sneered at me the entire time I was trying to get this mess straightened out, they also said they couldn't find a trace of my insurance - another ploy to get out of an apt !! The staff at Western Dental are soooo lazy !! The first time I was there they said they didn't do extractions - the second time I was there when they lied and said they couldn't see me because I made an apt as a new patient they told me that there was no way they could see me anyways because Dr. Jon Toepler was doing extractions ALL day !! Now, REMEMBER ?? THEY DIDN'T do extractions at Western Dental !! The ludicrous part ?? I was NEVER there for an extraction !! At Western Dental 3922 N. Oracle Road Tucson, AZ 85705 the staff lie, the dentists lie, they gaslight and it's a glorious money 🤑🤑💰💰 making operation !! Still want to go to Western Dental ??

Worst dental company ever I had my braces put on whit them and they didn’t do a good job even though I paid over 6k i came back again for a tooth ache cleaning and they refused to see me and or to make me an appointment they said they can’t have any kind of business or contract with them because of a collection debt which is weird because I paid in full they clearly care more about money than they do care for their patients they rather send them whit pain back home than to help them especially if they don’t have insurance bad bad dentist

This the second time they make come over then they tell that the day before they called me telling me that they had call me to let me know that my appointment was canceled. I never received no phone call. I hate it we take a day off to attend our appointment and then when we get there they tell us it was canceled a day before. We should all get together and se if we can do a class action lawsuit
