Many thanks for your quick service. Got my item on time
NHS Letter posted on 8th September using whistl finally delivered by Royal Mail 19th September at 11.10 for appointment at 11.00 on 19th .What an abysmal service .I wonder were it was lying for 11 days .I have requested Royal Derby to cease using this outfit .
Wherever possible I avoid ordering from a company that uses Whistl. On every occasion the delivery has been late or has never arrived. Absolutely useless.
Three times I ordered something. Three times it was sent via these clowns. Never arrived. Disappeared. Someone is enjoying Christmas early with a five fingered discount.
I ordered and paid for a preused toaster on27th August but it still hasn't arrived. If see whistl being responsible for delivery I will not deal with them
I have ordered three DVDs from different companies on eBay in the last few weeks and Whistl say they have ‘delivered’ on eBay update and nothing has arrived??? I tried calling Whistl directly but they said (on a phone message) to get in touch with the companies, which I have and they are doing what they can to get replacements out to me. I managed to get through to Whistl’s sister company ‘parcelhub’ and the person I spoke to was shockingly rude. An awful experience. Honestly, Whistl, what is going on??? I have ordered so many items from Musicmagpie before so I know it’s not them?? The other companies I haven’t used before on eBay but I’m in correspondence with them about these orders. This is terrible and I can see I’m not the only one.
I have been waiting for my package since 17th August. I got only 1 "update" on 18th August "Collection scheduled" and nothing else!
It's impossible to reach them in any way!
Scam as heck!
Avoid them!
Non-delivery of a book when promised. Messages from Evri gave tracking codes that did not work! Claim to have attempted delivery on first assigned date and time slot was false.
The company using this carrier abrogated responsibility for persistent problems!
Package from Music Magpie was supposed to be delivered by Whistl, and given one of their tracking numbers. Whistl handed it over to Evri, with a completely different tracking number. Was left sticking out of my neighbour's letterbox, and stolen before I realised where it had ended up, because that's the Evri Way. Took all morning to convince Music Magpie that it had been mis-delivered, because they were using the original tracking number which showed it was still waiting for collection by, apparently, the Post Office. Thanks, Whistl!
Bizzarre company. Some sort of postal broker. Shocking service and huge number of errors. My last parcel never arrived. One to avoid. Awful
Three weeks for a UK delivery, beyond poor!
I ordered a DVD a week a go, the last tracking update was 4 days ago. I'm not holding my breath. What a shocking delivery company. No easy way to communicate with them either.
Whistl basically means you have to 'whistle' for your package as they very seldom follow their own delivery schedules.
7 days in to mine, still at depot.
look whistl do not deliver anything, they are a cheap middle man , they pass it on to other couriers ie evri , that is why they take so long
I bought a small cookbook from Music Magpie. They used Whistl as the delivery service and provided a tracking number.
The tracking NEVER updated. It just kept saying 'Collection scheduled' and that was it.
Five days later, someone buzzed my intercom. I answered it and they said it was a delivery, so I let them in. I looked through the peephole on my front door, so I could see when the courier was on my floor. I always do that so I can open my door for them and not keep the couriers waiting.
Just as I was opening my door, the Whistl courier hurled my cookbook at my door from about 3 metres away. 😳 He threw it like a frisbee. I could not believe it. 😳
I asked him why he threw my cookbook at my door and he didn't reply.
He then came closer to my door so he could take a photo of the book that he'd just thrown on the floor. He took the photo and then left.
There was no excuse for him to throw it. You don't treat people's packages like that.
The Whistl courier knew I was home as I let him in through the intercom.
Also, the cookbook was small, so he could have put it through my letterbox.
He also came close to my door to take a picture, so why hurl it in the first place?
Music Magpie had put the book in a plastic bag, so it didn't offer much protection. When I opened it the book was damaged on all of the corners.
This experience has put me off ordering from Music Magpie. I don't want to deal with Whistl ever again. Their tracking sucked and their courier was despicable! Foul company! 😡
If you thought EVRI are the worst courier think again. This mob are even worse. Ordered a CD via Music Magpie on ebay. They say it was sent EVRI. Anyway after chasing EVRI for two weeks the CD finally arrived two weeks late and was delivered to my neighbours who thankfully have a porch but it was smashed to bits. The delivery label said Whistl and not EVRI! Go figure? Anyway Music Magpie did not refund me but Ebay stepped in and refunded me. Why do MM use such terrible delivery companies? They are cheap for a reason....that is they are rubbish.
I buy from music magpie and every delivery haven't arrived . I had 2 parcels just left outside my block of flats where luckily neighbors gave me . Then I have nine parcels saying been delivered when they haven't and according to my delivered at 4.30 am please who delivers at the time worst company ever
Big problems with July orders from rarewaves website. Got a refund today for one order. Tracking been stuck at scheduled for collection for 9+ days. Another order also seems to have issues. Massive delays at the moment or someone not scanning them and just taking them? Crazy stuff.
I gave 2 because they were doing fine till July it seems
Earth Calling Whistl...you've had my package since 15th July, WHERE are you? I seriously thought you were a courier company NOT a safe-deposit box! I phone and you swivel to the manufacturer when it's plainly your fault; mind you they're (Thimble Co, Leicester) are just as bad and won't answer the piggin' phone Tommy. Tosspots, one and all.
Recently I ordered a few DVDs off of Ebay (Music Magpie) and was excited to receive everything within three days ... only for none of it to have arrived even weeks later. The craziest part is that my parcel was noted as having been delivered, but the delivery code they gave me was for my neighbour's own, entirely different order. I filed a report with Ebay after a week with no update from Whistl, and I'm grateful to say I was issued a full refund, but I've now learned to avoid companies using Whistl, especially since this type of thing is apparently common with them. I'm questioning if my package will randomly turn up one day, and that - and the worry of the situation repeating itself - has put me off from reordering what I wanted in the first place.
