Wow what an amazing day!!!!!
Such an amazing knife and dinner party skills course. This was the best cookery course I have ever done. Al was a brilliant teacher, the food tasted unbelievable and we had enough to bring home with us for a couple of dinners! The team are so professional and happy, they make the day great. The knife skills will now be used everyday in preparing all of our family meals, so such a fantastic course to help with mealtimes! I can’t wait for our next dinner party to show off the menu! I thoroughly enjoyed my fish cookery day at the weekend. Fabulous recipes, quality ingredients and a great teacher. I have done several courses at White Pepper and will certainly do more in future. Highly recommended.
Super 1-day fish cookery training day.
Just completed a 1-day fish cookery course and couldn’t be happier. Had some fun, learnt new skills and ate some new food. What’s not to like! Looking out for other courses at WhitePepper now as they seem very worthwhile. For reference I’m a reasonably confident amateur cook.
Fantastic Day
A really enjoyable day, Al our Chef / Tutor was Professional, Very Knowledgeable, Engaging and at the same time entertaining, everything was thoroughly explained and demonstrated. Our course was 'Beside the Sea' covering numerous elements of seafood, the use of Spices and Herbs to maximise Flavour. I would 100% Recommend, The WhitePepper Academy & Cookery School

My good friend Colin and I had a really great day with WhitePepper! On arrival we were very well handled. The kitchen briefing was excellent and BOTH the learning and fun (which cookery is meant to be!) were excellent. Al made us all feel we were doing well and never patronising! (unlike other schools). Clearly there was no cost cutting - indeed no expense spared. Two girls efficiently did all the cleaning up and enabled us to feel very spoilt. The fish ingredients were both plentiful and costly. Nothing was on the cheap. The day ended with opening and eating as many oysters as you like - and I love them!
I will definitely go back and with much confidence, recommend WhitePepper.

Amazing experience
I took the silver course at whitepepper chefs academy in 2019 and it was one of the best experiences ever!
I like how the school is small and focused, and being able to be in the country side of the UK is what made my experience extra special! Our instructors Luke and Mark are excellent teachers; I like their way of teaching and how they get the best out of us. For example; for every dish we cook, we have to present it in 2 different ways, then we get our dishes evaluated by Luke or Mark in a one-to-one discussion to justify the presentation and cooking method. I attended several courses in different culinary schools in the UK; Whitepepper is highly recommended specially if you’re looking to learn culinary arts basics in a modern way.
My experience at Whitepepper
My experience at Whitepepper chef academy & cookery school has been fantastic. I graduated from the Lv 4 course having spent 16 weeks at the centre. Al Brady (Head chef) & Claire Alexander-Brown (Head of studies) are truly awesome people and have such a talent for teaching. Their passion and guidance in the kitchen was a huge help and it gave me the confidence to push myself daily and overall reach my goal of becoming a chef.
I also have to mention and thank my unbelievably talented fellow students who made me laugh and inspired me everyday, without Whitepepper I would not have had the opportunity to meet these people and forge life long friendships.

Broader Than Beans
I had the most fabulous day attending the Broader Than Beans course at the White Pepper Cookery school with Lesley Waters. The course was well organised, excellent guidance and preparation from Lesley, Steve and Tim. The content was exactly as described, we had a full and busy day and got to take home lots of the rewards from our hard work, in our Tupperware pots. Highly recommended!

Brilliant day, with some excellent instruction. We cooked a good range of dishes accompanied by covering the basics and some more.advanced techniques. WhitePepper are great hosts, keeping you fed and watered throughout in a really friendly environment!
Chef skills
I had an amazing day. The instructor and helper were both excellent. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful. He also put everyone at ease from the outset, which ensured the whole group joined in the conversation, which helped the questions flow. I believe everyone enjoyed the day and also learnt a lot.
