Good customer service before moving day.
On the day, very efficient.
Bit too keen to get started and we ended up losing a cat but all turned out well in the end.

Our move was made stress free by using David and his team at Forres. We were relocating 200 miles, and a bit apprehensive about how it would all work out, but thanks to the work ethic and professionalism of the squad, from protecting our furniture to floors, all was done with a smile and completed on time.
Our biggest job was making tea and coffee.
Would highly recommend them. Thanks to all involved !!

They were extremely efficient and helpful.The weather was very cold with deep snow. The house was emptied quickly with little mess. I would recommend white and company without hesitation.

Carol and Rebecca checked in with us regularly as it took a while to get our date. They arranged boxed and paper to be brought over for us to prepare. The team we had was excellent, very professional and took care.

We used White & Co to A) store our larger furniture and B) - move the rest to temporary accommodation whilst we built a new house.
During the move to the temporary accommodation the team caused avoidable damage for example - when carrying in the first wardrobe they decided to rest the wardrobe on the pointed picket fence. Surprise surprise the weight of it forced the points through the back of the wardrobe. When the second was being taken in they did the same with the same result! They broke some pictures and pulled the hinge of the leather recliner out.
With the larger furniture I was very concerned to see the three seat Himolla settee being set up vertically resting on an arm and side legs. I was as concerned I emailed my concerns to White & Co, Forres where the furniture was being stored asking them to check how they have been packed. I received an email assuring me it was all packed properly.
18 months later the move to the new house came. It was a different team. Firstly the sideboard came out with a deep gouge on the top. I was told this came about by the previous team packing a hostess trolley on the top of the oak sideboard. The damage was a result of them knocking off a castor and not replacing it before placing it on the sideboard with limited protection. The remains of the base dug in causing the gouge.
Next was two Himolla leather settees which had been in excellent condition before Whites got their hands on them. It appeared they had been dragged on their arms resulting in scraping the surface off the leather. In addition they had stored something on the side of the arm on the two seater which stretched the leather. The three seater was stored on its end with a heavy box of 78 records on one arm which has totally flattened the arm. The foreman said it was not how he would have packed them. He thought they should have been in a separate crate on their own.
The oak dining table which has fairly thick legs suffered a cracked leg. That would take a lot of force!
A mattress which was like new when uplifted was in a plastic cover but clearly had been dragged along the ground with the open end down making it unusable.
A large ornate mirror which had been given cardboard protection had the glass forced out badly damaging the frame.
To add insult to injury they passed the claim straight to Removal Claims Service who are only interested in offering the lowest price of something roughly similar as advertised on E-bay anywhere in the country. One of their suggested comparable items on which they base value was 613 miles away and did not show age of the item.
We gave the business to Whites as they had generally good feedback only to find they did not treat our good furniture with even reasonable care, lied it had been checked and all in order (at the storage facility). Then they compounded the hurt by using Removal Claims Service who will not agree even the cost to repair all items offering only a fraction of their value.
I did previously ask the Removal Claims Service to discuss the case with Whites as it is clear that some of the damage was caused by Whites having been negligent and not taking even reasonable care. (In case you are wondering we did pay for the insurance they offered)

From my first contact I can only say this company was efficient and helpful.
My request was not easy to pick up a jukebox and take it to the repairers and after it was fixed bring it back to Morayshire. Everything went from behind to end was not to much trouble for white I would recommend them to everyone who required movement of furniture etc

A bed was dismantled by your men, but not reassembled when delivered to new address.

On time very helpful guys were lovely nothing a problem. Our move was from Dufftown to Moffat. I would certainly recommend great team from start of process booking very helpful lady in Forres who organised booking etc for us. Whole procedure was good to finish 5 stars 🌟

This company goes above and beyond. White and Co moved my husband and I up to the Highlands from Dorset 3rs ago and on our recommendation have moved our neighbours down to the Borders and just moved my daughter and her partner up here also. Apart from being very reasonably priced they are professional, supportive, reliable and lovely with it. The two guys that moved us and my daughter here apart from working like trojans were friendly and supportive throughout the entire loading and unloading process which makes what is invariably a stressful day so much better.
