Ready meal (beef and potato)
Ready meal, braised beef in ale and confit potato. Sounds tasty.
There were just three small cubes of beef, less than 1% I'd say. The beef had nasty bits of chewy gristle. The potatoes were undercooked. I think prison food is better but luckily my cat found it acceptable. If this is a typical example then Whole Foods Market should be bankrupt by 2027.
Stop Hiring 20-Something Thugs
I don't shop at Whole Foods often. I get what I need from Sprouts. The elder cashiers at WF are considerate and responsive. The younger ones are malicious and rude. Classless. They treat older customers as if they're deserving only of harassment and gaslighting. These young cashiers are provocative, which means that Whole Foods hires street thugs. I can be part of that world. But they're protected because the managers are the same age, young idiots who use diffusion of responsibility that allows harmful, immoral, or illegal actions to be accomplished by a group. So each employee can claim "I know nothing" or "I don't know what you're talking about" or give some excuse to cover for other employees. This allows Whole Foods employees to be embolden to commit malignant acts against paying customers. Imagine having that much contempt for paying customers. Are they in the food business or are they in Maoist humiliation business? This is not by accident. It's an ethical policy endorsed by Whole Foods. Why would anyone shop here?
I was unable to shop as the St Paul…
I was unable to shop as the St Paul Snelling Ave store had a delivery truck parked in front of the store ( parking area) and no cars could park to shop or exit. Cars were driving in a weird way to exit as the EXIT WAS BLOCKED.
I got out of my car to ask a person I saw to be a manager ( wearing what looked like a crocheted blanket) to please have the driver move. She gave one of those "I just work here" responses of " I told the shift lead" but Not I found the driver or called the police to have the vehicle towed.
This truck was causing at least 10 cars to back out and NOT SHOP as there was no ability to park and her response was "I told the shift lead"? WF you have got to do better. This was EPIC FAIL territory.
Would select 0 stars if I could
Would select 0 stars if I could - Customer Service absolutely appalling. Bought a gift card online without realising it can only be used in store and asked for a refund almost straight away and within cooling off period and was completely dismissed. Maybe they should ensure that their customer services team understand UK law instead of getting their team in Texas to deal who just fob you off.
Praise for Redwood City WF.
WF at Redwood City CA has the most wonderful work force, intelligent, always willing to help by checking in back if product not on shelf, careful at check out ,offering to help to car. As a customer that spends over $500 on weekly basis for food with other high end market options, I regularly return to Redwood City because of quality of employees.
unlikely to return as a customer, at least not to this branch
Purchased a bag of very expensive snacks in London Piccadilli branch, took it all the way home to opposite side of London just to bite into something that tasted absolutely vile. I immediately checked the expiration date and turns out it was more than a month past its expiry date. I didn’t even grab a receipt (for environmental reasons, this what their staff defaults to unless you explicitly ask for one, or at least it was so in my case) so I couldn’t return it to store regardless of it being on the opposite side of the city and they have ignored my email too. It’s been 7 months since I complained (May 2nd) and they didn’t even acknowledge the complaint since then (Dec 31).
While I appreciate that I should have checked the expiry date before buying, I still think it’s unacceptable to neglect the stock this significantly and especially in a premium price store and then ignore the customer afterwards. It literally could have made me and many other customers ill. You think they would at least apologise and take note to go and remove all those rotten snacks off the shelf!
The staff at the front where the you…
The staff at the front where the you pay, seemed disturbed if you ask for assistance. They stand holding up the wall, and talking, instead of helping the patrons. There was only one tall guy who was very nice & helpful, which I appreciated. If you are going to have people working the front, they should be there to assist.
People are very illiterate
People are very illiterate, non professional. Ignoring customers. Don’t want to listen and understand people. This is whole food on Ventura bl. Sherman Oaks. Name is Vanessa and Joshua. They are not competent. Not educated. It’s Shame to this store
I am still deeply upset about…
I am still deeply upset about purchasing food containing genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and having them for my children. It is perplexing that this ingredient was included in the muffins. Consequently, I will cease purchasing from that establishment.
Why ultra processed ingredients???
Trying to switch to products with no ultra processed ingredients. I thought I would have look at whole foods, but many of Their items are full of ultra processing emulsifiers like soy lecithin, guar gum, and xantham gum. Why the high prices when you sell the same crap as every other store? Even organic products often have these ingredients. Not organic!
Good variety
Good variety, decent quality, but the prices keep going up every month. It’s convenient if you live nearby, but definitely not the place for a full weekly grocery run unless you’re ready to pay premium.
After waiting for years have our whole…
After waiting for years have our whole foods market open in Kings rd London sw3, we are totally shocked how bad the quality of food is . Fresh bread is nothing but fresh , disgusting frozen and unfrozen sourdough bread
In contrast to Kensington brunch , where the bakery is amazing , best sourdough bread in Cenral London
Bar warm food , also beyond believe how disgusting everything is
This is a review for the meat…
This is a review for the meat department at Whole Foods in the Hill County Galleria/Bee Cave, TX. The steaks that you are selling are inconsistent and for the most part....horrible! My husband bought one 'dry aged' ribeye steak for almost $40.00 and it was basically inedible. Tough and no flavor. We split this steak and both of us ended-up throwing it in the trash. Not even fit for our dog. Not sure what is going on at this store with your steaks, but IF WE EVER buy another steak this bad we are bringing it back to you and asking for our money back!
well I have bought upto now 3 times raw…
well I have bought upto now 3 times raw shrimps from whole foods on n dale tampa and sorry to say all 3 times, when i cooked those shrimps was smelling too much. i took from the seafood place where it display in show case
when i brought those home, and when cleaning those it was feeling its sitting outside for 3 or more days and not fresh, and unhealthy
I am very disappointed with Whole Foods…
I am very disappointed with Whole Foods.
At the end of Oct. I purchased 3 large containers of blackberries from the Cambridge, MA store, off of route 2. Two containers were totally rotten with mounds of white mold in them. The third container was partially rotten.I contacted Whole Foods by phone and through multiple emails. They have created so many hurdles that I probably will not get my money back or a certificate to use in the store. I am recommending that everyone stay away from Whole Foods.
soggy freezer burn tasteless
The food arrived soggy, the frozen strawberries was black with freezer burn no taste appears was stored for years. I order blue berries got very small berries called wild bilberries, haven't checked the spinach but not expecting anything good, not reporting anything because I'm too tired with these horrible goods that I'm paying for, just would never ever purchase anything from wholefoods again. I just waste sixty one pounds for inedible foods.
my first visit to a whole food store
my first visit to a whole food store
I purchased the worst produce ive ever over paid for
NEVER again
Pork Carnita Burrito
Pork Carnita would suggest meat? So why does my burrito consist of only rice and beans? I’ve eaten about 1/3 now and haven’t encountered any pork at all. Back to the store this little piggy will go.
Theres a new guy in the fish department…
Theres a new guy in the fish department named SHELDON and he's absolutely amazing ! Hes not only super nice, but he is incredibly skilled- Ive never seen anyone at any WholeFoods cut and clean the fish the way he does.
I actually go back more often now just because of him. Not many people can butterfly or prepare fish with such precision and care.
WholeFoods is lucky to have Sheldon- hes the best.
Steven M At The Virginia Beach Location
You should be ashamed you hired Steven M to work in the whole body department at the Virginia Beach location. He doesn't work, he flirts with his co-worker Will in produce.
He won't run any backstock, he hides in the bathroom to avoid attending to customers, and will rant to people about how trans people are confused. Not welcoming or inclusive at all.
Someone who is pushing 40 should have better work ethic.
